“I recently entrusted my furry companion, Mara to the care of a wonderful dog sitter. From the moment I met her, I knew Mara would be in good hands. Vicky genuine love for dogs was evident. She welcomed Mara with open arms, treating her like family. Throughout Mara’s stay, the sitter kept me informed. I received delightful pictures of Mara exploring her new surroundings and even enjoying cozy nap times. It warmed my heart to see Mara so content. Vicky’s home became Mara’s second home. The environment was safe. The sitter always ensured Mara’s well-being. Whether it was mealtime, walks or playtime, she was there, ensuring Mara’s needs were met. I felt confident that Mara was in capable hands. If you’re looking for a dog sitter who genuinely cares, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend her services. Your beloved dog will receive the same love and attention Mara did. Thank you, dear Vicky, for taking care of Mara as if she were your own. You’ve made a lasting impression, and we’ll be back!”

“Bramble had the best time with Georgia and Luke over the weekend. She enjoyed plenty of exercise, followed by lots of snoozing and cuddles. When I came to collect her, it was obvious she'd had an amazing stay-she was so settled and content that she didn't want to leave the garden where she'd made herself comfortable for the afternoon. It's always reassuring to know your dog has been so well looked after and had such a wonderful time.”

“Chrissy has been amazing looking after our doggo for 6 nights. She kept us updated daily with photos and we returned to a relaxed and very at home pup when we went to pick her up. Would use again and can highly recommend.”

“We were so happy with our decision to have Gregory board with Jennifer and her family. Shortly after making the booking, Jennifer reached out and we planned a short pre-meet before so that Gregory and her lovely dog Coco could meet, and we could share some information about them both. It was clear immediately that Jennifer and her family very much cared about making sure Gregory was going to have a comfortable stay with them, and he definitely did. During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! We will definitely be asking Jennifer to look after Gregory again in the future! 5 stars.”

“This was our first time using Liv and Rover and it was great. Liv was so lovely and keen to find out about Loki before his stay. “Nathan was absolutely amazing and Meg loved boarding with him. Nathan was very flexible with times and catered well to Meg's care needs. I'd definitely recommend his services! I was regularly updated and sent photos of how Meg was doing too. Nathan has a lovely personality and is really professional. We shall see you in the near future x”

“Maria was great with Teddy. i was sent loads of photos throughout his stay and he was enjoying it so much. Maria gave him a bath so when i picked him up he was a nice clean boy. “Sophie was great! She came to meet the boys ahead of time, to make sure she knew which one to administer the medication to. Nothing was too much trouble. The cats were happy & relaxed upon our return! Would use Sophie again!”

“Nala was very well looked after by Ewa and has asked me to leave the following feedback: “I’m pleased Ewa understood as much as I like my own space I do get lonely and like to just chill in the same room. I liked it when she came round and put some treats in little hiding spots like my mum does, I do like a good treasure hunt. I think she gathered this from my loud purrs. I often sat and waited at the window for her to come back and she took some cute pics of me to send to my mum, including one at the window. I’d definitely have her round to look after me again the next time my mum abandons me for a few days”. I’d echo what Nala says and would recommend Ewa to anyone! Thanks Ewa :)”

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, having grown up with pets throughout my life. About: Hi! Thank you for considering me to care for your pets - I know how important they are! I’m a huge animal lover but unfortunately cannot have pets of my own right now. Therefore, petsitting/dog-walking allows me to care for animals and help out others. :-) Currently, I live just off Fulford Road right outside the city walls in a spacious three-bedroom terraced house, with an enclosed back garden. We do allow pets on our furniture, as long as that’s acceptable to their owners! I do have a full-time job, but I work from home which gives me plenty of flexibility. I can also spend all my time with your pet, which is especially helpful for ones that have a hard time being away from their owner. My husband and I are also very active and will happily take active pets out for multiple walks a day! Throughout my life, I have had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, sugar gliders, and guinea pigs. I’ve been a dog-sitter for others (including many in the U.S.), with many repeat pets! I’m open to providing a variety of services, including day visits, walks, boarding, and more. I have experience with puppies and kittens, up through pets that are older. My care can be tailored to suit your needs, including special requests and medications. I can also pick up and drop off your pets, as long as you are located within a reasonable distance from my home. Thank you for looking, and I look forward to hearing from you! I work full time but completely remotely with a flexible schedule! This means I can cater my day to your pet’s needs, whether that’s more toilet breaks or a longer walk. I live in a spacious three bedroom terraced house with an enclosed back garden. For nice walks, we are mere steps away from a river walk and park. As to visits in the pet owner’s home, I am happy to go through any steps to ensure both your pet and home are safe while you’re away.
“I cannot recommend Jaye and her husband enough. They’re genuinely so lovely, and so fantastic (and competent!) with dogs, and my two had a fanastic time. Thank you so much for looking after Louis and Juno!”

About: I've been around dogs since childhood, and three years ago, my family and I adopted our lovely Britney/Staffy cross, Coco, after finding her abandoned while on holiday in Spain. Coco is 5 years old and very loves nothing more than making new doggy friends. We love local walks to the cafe at lunch and going further afield at weekends and would love to have your dog along with us. We also have a large enclosed garden for plenty of outdoor fun during the day! I work from home three days a week and my husband works from home full time so someone will always be around the house. We walk our dog Coco three times a day, and allow plenty of time in the garden between walks. My husband usually walks to a local cafe at lunch for a good one hour walk with the dog. We have a large and totally enclosed back garden and a large open plan living area downstairs. Your dog will be free to wander around the house and hangout with our dog Coco. If we have to pop out for a short time we ensure access to a comfy bed and water at all times.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. One of my friend’s Cockapoos even stayed overnight in our home for a week, so I’m experienced in helping dogs settle into a new environment and feel comfortable. I genuinely love spending time with dogs. I enjoy taking them for walks, visiting parks and going on countryside walks together. I always pay close attention to their behaviour, comfort and wellbeing, and I’ll care for your dog with the same love and attention that I give my own. As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Caring for dogs is already a big part of my daily life, as I share my home with my partner and our lovely Cockapoo, Loopy. As a Cockapoo owner myself, I understand the energy, affection and attention this breed needs, and I’m always happy to adapt to each dog’s own routine and personality. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime or simply relaxing with people, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved and at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always come first. I have a friendly, spayed female Cockapoo who enjoys the company of other dogs. I introduce dogs gradually and never leave them together unsupervised until I’m confident they’re comfortable with each other. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed) and any special instructions. Every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and make sure they feel relaxed and secure. My goal is for your dog to enjoy their stay just as much as you enjoy your time away.

About: As a lifelong animal lover I started caring for dogs at age 15 when a new neighbour moved in with a beautiful black staffy. Since then I've taken any opportunity I can to walk and care for dogs. Through travel I've had the opportunity to look after dogs in various places and enjoy the companionship and home like feel that furry friends offer. From walks in nature, play sessions, and caring for their needs, every interaction I have with dogs is filled with care and attention. I've cared for dogs through their highs and lows, nurturing them back to health after surgeries and offering love and joy. I understand the reliability and trust needed when finding someone to care for your dog. I am DBS checked (certificate available to see upon request) and I offer a flexible approach and an attentive nature. I work from home and plan my own work schedule so I can be very flexible and always present when walking or caring for your pet. I have a fenced garden that's completely secure. I also have plenty of space and home comforts inside for your pet to play, lounge, sleep, or eat.

About: I work in education, have a current DBS, and live with my husband and children. We have previously had an indoor cat and have used the cat in a flat service before when we were away. We felt it was just as good as a cattery, and he had his own space and was calmer being at home. I have recently started to find opportunities to volunteer and work with cats which I am thoroughly enjoying.
“The dogs had such a great time today and Octavia was a life saver for a long day in the office for us. She looked after them so well and made sure they got their treat and a full water bowl when they got back in this warm weather. Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I have had cats, dogs and kittens and also rabbits. I have experience looking after people’s kittens/cats/senior cats and also puppies/adult dogs and senior dogs. I have medication administration experience as our old senior cat had medical conditions which required medication. I love looking after furbabies to ensure their individual needs are being met taking into consideration their different personalities. I currently work a 9-5 job Monday to Friday but I am free evenings and over the weekend. Over the weekend I am more flexible to look after pets in my own home, take them for walks and do drop in sessions. I can also offer dog walking/ drop in sessions in the evening after work hours. I have a fenced backyard for your furbaby and I am a 5 minute walk away from a field. I am available to meet up prior to a sit/walk or drop in so I am able to meet you and your furbaby so you can assess who is going to look after your family member.

About: I have my own cat and dog who I trained and looked after myself as a puppy. I was often left with my own animals alone as a child and I still am relied on to care for them to this day. I have also looked after friends’ pets. I love any cat or dog and am willing to learn any care for any extra support that may be needed . I am currently home from university and unoccupied. I love animals, and want my life to be full of them so any of my free time I can put into that is perfect. I am very careful to keep things tidy and organised, while catering to your pet’s comfort. I am coming into their and your home and so do my best to adapt to their environment, while taking care of your home!

About: Hi! My name is Meg. I’ve had pets of my own for over 20 years. I have been pet-sitting since I was 12 with a ton of different animals - dogs, cats, gerbils/ hamsters, bunnies, lizards, etc. In the past several years I have cared for my cat with chronic kidney disease and my older dog with arthritis, so I am knowledgeable on senior care & medication management. I am very flexible. I have a part time job outside of this with a schedule I can rearrange so I am available basically 7 days a week. I make sure fresh water, food (when mealtimes or as needed), a cosy spot to chill out, and company are always available. I have experience with anxious dogs and know how much a loved toy or treat can help.

About: From childhood, I have lived with dogs and cats of different breeds and ages. I work 1 hour a day in the morning and afternoon, term time only. We have lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and a safe, secure gated field nearby. Visiting grandchildren are 14 years plus. I would follow the owners wishes regarding the caring and exercising of their pet, making sure their pet feels happy and relaxed in our home, just as my own pets do. I would want the owner to feel reassured when leaving their pet and I would keep them updated throughout their stay. If your pet would enjoy the company of me and my pets, there is always room for them on our settee! I work one hour a day in the morning and afternoon, weekdays and term time only. I am free the rest of the time and at weekends. I have my own car for transporting pets. My home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly with a secure garden and lots of lovely walks on my doorstep. There is a secured gated field nearby. I can give your pets lots of fuss or leave them to rest and relax if they wish. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and fussing, helping your pet to feel at home in our home!
About: I have studied Animal Management at Level 3 and want to use that knowledge to care for other people's pets. I've had my own whippet since I was 6. I had the pleasure of caring for him at home until his recent death. Over recent years, friends and neighbours have asked me to care for their pets which has been very rewarding. I am currently in between jobs so Im available all times however I do have to walk as i don't currently have my drivers license I have been taught how to safely hand pets and will follow all instructions provided as all pets are different. If there are specific requirement please let me know before hand but Im not afraid of anyone jumping up or being overly friendly, same goes for if they are more reserved.

About: I have been living with dogs since I was 6 years old, and my late dog was part of our family for 18 years. I am confident in caring for dogs, including walking, feeding, brushing, and giving massages, as these were my responsibilities back in Japan. I also have experience caring for both young and senior dogs. I’m currently studying at university and have a flexible schedule to spend quality time with your dogs. I am available to work from 11am to 6pm. I can take your dog on walks wherever and however they enjoy, as I have plenty of stamina and love being active with dogs. I mainly have experience with small dogs, but I am also comfortable with larger dogs, as I have experience handling horses as well.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. For the past decade, I’ve owned and cared for more specialized pets like ferrets, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. I especially love dogs and have experience training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra gentleness and support. From high-energy youngsters to calm, elderly companions, I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique personality and needs. No dog feels unfamiliar to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'm available most (if not all) days of the week currently and have plenty of time in my day to care for your loving pet. I'll care for your pet in your own home to your standards and instructions including play, treats, and meals. I can also care for them in my home, but have only a limited terraced garden space for them to play outside (my home is big for roaming, for more indoor inclined dogs).

About: Ever since a young age, i have taken care of all animals due to family and friends pets. My Grandmother, who had 7 dogs and 3 cats, taught me how to care for animals both stray and tamed from the age of a puppy to an elderly dog. This taught me many skills on how to care for animals, fulfilling not only their physical needs but emotional too. I am currently on the summer break with no jobs and no upcoming holidays trying to save for university and will therefore be free daily for anyone who needs any pet sitters or dog walkers. I currently only have a cat at the moment as my dog lives with my dad in Scotland, however, i can ensure your pet, whether thats a dog, cat or other, will be kept safe and entertained. As long as boundaries regarding the animal are understood beforehand they will be kept safe and secure.
About: My passion for caring for pets and ensuring they feel loved and safe is imperial. I can match the energy of your pet, whether they are calm or energetic so they feel right at home. I am currently a student and have a lot of independent study time that I can do from anywhere. I typically have Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays off, as well as the weekend. I enjoy going on walks and spending time outdoors and love the company of a pet! I will ensure your pet is safe and protected at all times. I will be sure to confirm if they can be with other animals or humans and make sure they are always comfortable. I am a very organized and clean individual and will keep your home tidy.
“Emma is a very personable young lady who is very confident and capable with handling dogs. She has a relaxed and friendly approach with owners and has quickly achieved a happy rapport with our excitable and cuddlesome 2year old girl. Our Staffy Misty gives her a warm welcome and likes to be next to her and brings her toys for play. Most importantly Misty is comfortable with and happy to be with Emma. We will be using Emma whenever she is available and Misty needs home sitting. Emma provides a responsible and reliable able service at all times.”

“This was our first time using Liv and Rover and it was great. Liv was so lovely and keen to find out about Loki before his stay. She took wonderful care of him and kept us up to date with photos while we were away. Loki had a great time and enjoyed the attention and cuddles. Thanks Liv! Would definitely recommend 😊”

“Our first time using Helen and she was fantastic; her communication and professionalism were apparent from the outset, as was her warmth and caring nature. Our retriever was grumpy when he got home which shows he’d rather have stayed with her 🤣”

“Milo had a longer stay with Jack a d Georgina - the first time we have left him for a couple of weeks. As always he was well cared for and we were kept updated with lovely photos whilst we were away.”

“Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!”

“What can I say? Rasa was amazing from the initial engagement all throughout the time my boys stayed with her. Starting with a new dog sitter and boarding for the first time can be unnerving. Rasa comforted me from the get-go by sending pictures of their time with her. They have an amazing environment, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We'll definitely be using Rasa again.”

“I could write pages on how Cameron and Emily treat our dog with such love and as if he is their own, but I think Chapo’s feelings are much more important. It’s our second time booking with them, and Chapo had been quite moody before we dropped him off, but as soon as we got to their house he was suddenly very happy, very excited, very waggy tail, thrilled to be back. I think that says everything that needs to be said about their brilliant care. He loves playing with Hugo, and Cameron and Emily are amazing with him. Couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“My two dogs have clearly been loved and very well looked after whilst with Emma. They were a little sad to come home! Highly recommended and will always be my first port of call when looking for a safe place for my dogs. Thank you so much Emma x”
