About: I am an animal lover and hold my pet first aid and CPR certificate. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I am comfortable with administering oral medications, and providing extra attention for pets with additional needs. About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I'm El! I had a dog from when she was a puppy right through to old age. We trained her with various commands when she was young as well as monitoring her care and medication when she was older. I have also helped with friends and families dogs with day to day care (fed, walked, bathed etc). I currently only have weekends and evenings/nights available to look after pets. I can also only look after pets in their owners home as mine is under renovations. Caring for pets in their owners home will needs to be discussed on a case by case basis for the pet and the owner. I will always enter caring for a pet with compassion and a nurturing mindset. Looking after a pet in their owners home I would need to understand the boundaries already in place and would want to know their expectations for their home and their pet before before services being agreed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old; from tiny Westies and Lhasa Apsos to big personalities like Huskies and Kelpies. Growing up with dogs of all shapes and sizes taught me that every dog is different, and great care means tailoring my love to them: physically, emotionally, and energetically. Now, as a proud Kelpie owner, I understand what it means to look after intelligent, high-energy breeds who need more than just a walk - they want engagement, structure and attention. I bring calm, consistent energy to every dog I care for, with a mix of play, rest, and routine tailored to what helps them feel secure. What sets me apart is the individual care I give, I only take small number of bookings at a time ( boarding 1 on 1) so your dog gets my full attention. Whether it’s long walks, brain games, or simply quiet cuddles, I treat every dog like one of my own in a peaceful, dog-friendly home. I don’t work at the moment - so I can be flexible in terms of walks, feeds and play time. Also drop off and pick ups! For boarding I have a fenced garden - easy access to country walks and also my own crate ( for puppies). With my own transport - for walks I can do pick ups and drop offs to suit.

About: Having walked neighbour’s dogs from a young age and grown up with cats, I’m very comfortable looking after both. I have been on Rover since the start of 2026, and have done pet-sitting in my home, in their own home, as well as on a drop-in basis. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages and temperaments. I like to live an active life myself so higher energy dogs aren’t an issue! I’d be keen to follow your own routines with your pet to give them consistency, and of course give them a happy, safe and comfortable time with me. I also make sure to give consistent updates to owners so they know how their pet is doing - pets really are part of the family! I work full time Mon-Fri, generally at home on Mondays and Fridays, so dog sitting on long weekends is particularly good when I can give them undivided attention. I’d be happy doing duties before/after work and during my lunch hour when I’m at the office too. Weekend-wise, I’m entirely available and flexible to cater to the dog’s usual exercise routines. I can offer at least 2 good walks a day and can feed according to your dog’s usual routine (please provide their regular food). I would keep routines consistent and watch for any changes in behaviour, and provide regular photo/message updates so you feel connected. I treat all pets as though they’re my own - with a lot of love, patience and care! I’m trustworthy to provide the best possible care for your pet whether they are staying in my house or your own, and would respect your space if doing drop in visits and be particularly careful about locking up when leaving. If they’re staying with me, my house is in a quiet area with a secure, dog-proof garden. I would do my best to follow your pet’s routines to give them as much consistency as possible. I would also ensure to give you regular updates on how your pet is doing and what they’re getting up to! My aim is for your pet to return to you happy and relaxed.

About: After being around dogs all my life, and seeming to be constantly walking the family dogs when I am at home, ever since being old enough to be trusted to (we have 3 dogs at the minute!), I have plenty of experience with dogs. I absolutely love dogs and their various personalities. I'm currently at university in York and looking to earn a little extra money whilst also filling the dog shaped hole whilst I'm away at uni, as we have always had a menagerie of pets at home. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.

About: I absolutely love animals and have been a dog owner myself for 4 years, starting with the adoption of our greyhound Wren. He is currently 9 years old and lives with anxiety, autism, and brain damage. Caring for him and watching his confidence grow has been amazing. I also have a 3 year old malti-poo who we have raised since he was a puppy. He might be small in size, but he has a massive personality. Big and small. Old and young. Anxious and confident. They are polar opposites and this has allowed me to cover all bases when it comes to pet care. I also have experience cat sitting, which I started doing for my neighbors at 16 years old. My experience in caring for a variety of pet needs and my love for animals means you can rest easy knowing I will care for your pet as I do my own. I currently work part-time, on a rotating schedule, meaning I’m available for pet care four days a week or alternatively after 4pm on days I do have work. My dogs love sticking to their routine so I have no issues doing this. I can also follow any specific care instructions you provide, including medication if needed. My greyhound hates taking his daily medication so I’ve learnt how to be persuasive! About: I love dogs and cats. From childhood, both myself and my husband have always had them as pets and our home would not be complete without one! We enjoy their companionship and caring for them, which we have many years of experience and we are trustworthy and reliable. We have a calm and relaxed home with a secure garden and have lots of lovely walks from our doorstep. Our pets are well socialised and accepting and we are all very much looking forward to welcoming your beloved pet into our home! I am at home during the day and at weekends and always make sure I take care of my own pets needs and so I would do exactly the same with all dogs that are staying with us. I would ensure I followed the owner’s instructions and I would keep them updated. I would keep a good routine, with feeding, making sure their pets food is fresh in clean bowls with access to fresh water. I would exercise them to suit their needs. I am happy to bathe, brush, clean teeth if they allow but I do not clip nails. I would give medication according to owner’s instructions. I would ensure harnesses, leads are secure before leaving on a walk and car restraints are secured before transporting. Pets are allowed on our chairs and sofas and beds and I would like them to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable. I can crate if required. I would give positive praise and attention, helping your pet to feel at home and relaxed as possible while staying with us.

About: I have been around dogs for most of my life and love getting out for walks and enjoy the companionship that we can give each other. I currently have my own dog, Poppy, who is nearly 12. She still loves her walks and snuggling up next to me. I have experience of looking after family and friend’s dogs in my home and in their own home. I currently work full-time Monday to Friday term time as a teaching assistant. I am available on weekends and during school holidays so have plenty of time to look after you pooch. I am more than happy to take your dog for a walk, this is something I could even fit in after work. I would like to look after your dog in my home, or in their own home, whatever is best for the dog and you. I live in a semi- detached house with a fenced garden at the back in a beautiful village. There are plenty of lovely walks nearby in local woods/ fields. I also love exploring so am more than happy to walk your dog in its own familiar area if it has a favourite place to go. I have experience of looking after family and friend’s dogs in my own home and also in their own home. I thoroughly enjoyed having the dogs in their own environment, exploring their area on walks.

About: i have raised a dog for six years, i trained him, walked him and cared for him. dogs love me and i am excellent at adjusting to their boundaries each week i am available to dog/cat sit, walk and house sit. my schedule is not very busy and I’m very flexible to whatever you need in a pet owners home i would ensure to always be tidy, being my own food/drink, stick to any boundaries they give me and stay engaged keeping an eye permanently on the pets.
