About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. One of my friend’s Cockapoos even stayed overnight in our home for a week, so I’m experienced in helping dogs settle into a new environment and feel comfortable. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from cats and dogs to chickens, horses, and even a rescue fawn! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, including spending time in New Zealand where I was fortunate enough to house-sit and care for some wonderful dogs. I’ve also built up experience through TrustedHousesitters, looking after pets in their own homes and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m often down by the river exploring the local area, usually with a coffee stop at one of the many lovely cafés along the way — so there’s no shortage of opportunities for walks and adventures! When house-sitting, I’m very happy to follow your usual routines and instructions closely. I know every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to understand their individual needs and make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for while you’re away.

We were a bit nervous at first about using a pet sitter, but Joanne arranged a meeting in a nice neutral space and I could tell from her interactions with my dog that she cared about dogs and we left her with our beloved little girl. While away, Joanne sent lots of videos and from the videos we could tell that our dog was really being looked after well - the dog was really relaxed in the videos, was being played with, and looked very very comfortable with Joanne. So comfortable in fact that we were a little worried our dog would want to stay with her when we came back, as our dog was definitely being pampered! We will definitely use Joanne again when we next go on holiday, so please don't pick her for the same week as we want! (just kidding).”

Shortly after making the booking, Jennifer reached out and we planned a short pre-meet before so that Gregory and her lovely dog Coco could meet, and we could share some information about them both. It was clear immediately that Jennifer and her family very much cared about making sure Gregory was going to have a comfortable stay with them, and he definitely did. During the boarding, Jennifer kept us updated with pictures of Gregory doing all his favourite things and he looked to be having an absolute splendid time, seemingly as comfortable as he would be in his own home! “Jaye and Johnny put us at ease with our elderly miniature schnauzer Salt from the moment we met them. Warm, kind and attentive with a clear love for canine family members we were confident Salt was going to fit right in and they would take care of our old guy who had a few are related health issues. They sent several photos of their time caring for him over the 3 nights he stayed with them and Jaye gave us assurances he was doing just great. They bonded so quickly with him and great they live so conveniently close by to us too so that was a bonus. About: Having over 25 years of experience looking after and owning dogs, dog walking for senior clients and dogs would never be a problem, same with puppies. Also have 4 years of pet shop experience so I’ve seen and heard it all. I’m fully available during the week and weekends between 6am to 10pm. But more than willing to discuss what’s needed for your pet care if it falls outside those hours. Safety and respect is crucial when being in other people’s homes. About: I work in education, have a current DBS, and live with my husband and children. We have previously had an indoor cat and have used the cat in a flat service before when we were away. We felt it was just as good as a cattery, and he had his own space and was calmer being at home. I have recently started to find opportunities to volunteer and work with cats which I am thoroughly enjoying.

About: I have had dog all my life. At the moment I currently have 4 dogs. I also helped out in kennels in Tenerife last year. I am full time. Limited availability on Wednesday and Thursdays as I am at university but this can be done online if I am pet sitting. I will come round for a meet and greet to make sure me and your fur baby get along great. I also take veterinary details in case of an emergency. I will keep doors, gates, windows secure. About: Had 4 different dogs in my lifetime, all who were loved until the age of 18, aswell as 2 cats, and have experience dealing with dogs all different natures and breeds. “Jaye and Johnny put us at ease with our elderly miniature schnauzer Salt from the moment we met them. Warm, kind and attentive with a clear love for canine family members we were confident Salt was going to fit right in and they would take care of our old guy who had a few are related health issues. They sent several photos of their time caring for him over the 3 nights he stayed with them and Jaye gave us assurances he was doing just great. They bonded so quickly with him and great they live so conveniently close by to us too so that was a bonus. “Rasa looked after our 3 cocker spaniels for 2 weeks in October 2025 - we striggled to find anyone who would take all 3 dogs but we immediately felt at ease with Rasa and our girls looked very happy. She followed our feeding instructions clearly and gave them a warm and relaxing home with lots of cuddles and lots of walks. She kept us updated with photos whilst we were away and our girls seemed very happy when we collected them - Nellie didn't really look as though she wanted to come home! Would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since been born and looked after different species of dogs and cats since they were young. I’ve helped train and teach them on what to do. I’ve helped more in the past few years with been older and sitting my families animals when they are away I am currently at uni where I’m there 2 days a week but varies all the time, and I also work part time at a pharmacy which I am changing my hours soon to fit around university. I have a fenced off garden space which is fine to allow dogs in for the toilet. There is a big downstairs space which is enough to allow the animals in and run about and sleep.
About: I've loved and taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, part of a dog loving family and after looking for a pet sitter for our dog and not finding someone who truly loved and cared for him Like an dog mama and not just a pet sitter, I decided this was the calling for me. I am the type of person who would greet the dog before the owner! My promise is to love and care for your dog like its my own fur baby making him or her feel spoilt and truly cared for. No morning is better than waking up to dog kisses!! I currently work part time but your dog will never be left any longer than 4hrs in total. Well walked before I go to work and well walked after I come home, I will leave licky mats and Kong toys to play with while I am gone. I have a secure fenced garden with a beautiful friendly cocker spaniel named Albie. We have lots of walks around our home with being on the outskirts of York in a little village. All dogs are allowed full run of the house with access to the sofas and the beds!! Sleeping on the beds is always allowed.
