About: Had 4 different dogs in my lifetime, all who were loved until the age of 18, aswell as 2 cats, and have experience dealing with dogs all different natures and breeds. I love taking care of them and keeping them safe and being around animals brings me much joy. One of my current dogs being 18, and my other being 1, means I have to deal with both senior and youthful energy all the time, teaching me alot. I'm currently in my first year at York St John University, although have lots of free time all week, so I'm happy to help out during the week and on weekends! I love to spend time with animals, so I am extremely flexible, and will likely be available whenever required 😁 I'm happy to adapt in whatever scenario to care for any pets, I'm happy to feed them, play with them, chill with them, keep an eye on them, take them out for walks, smother them with love, whatever you require!

About: Hi, I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I’ve come back from university for a long holiday break and would love to welcome your dog into my family’s home to stay. I’m also available for dog walking and day care. We can offer a fenced and safe garden, comfortable sofa and plenty of time for cuddles, company, walks and playtime to all the dogs that stay with us. Our home is very dog friendly and full of treats and toys. We live local to the river and multiple green spaces for a variety of walks. Our family dog, Willow, is 5 years old, she’s an independent miniature poodle. I am happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking if you would like to see how your dog gets on. I can also easily accommodate separate walks for your dog if you prefer. I want to make your pet feel like this is their home from home so if they have any special requests to make them feel comfortable then please feel free to ask 😁 I’m back from university so I’m available most days, including weekends. I will also be taking care of my own dog when my parents are at work, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog. I can easily accommodate a dog crate, if your dog is happiest sleeping there. I have a medium-sized fenced garden and live close to Bootham park and the river for nice walks. Your dog is welcome on the sofa and my priority is making them welcome and comfortable.

About: I absolutely love animals and have been a dog owner myself for 4 years, starting with the adoption of our greyhound Wren. He is currently 9 years old and lives with anxiety, autism, and brain damage. Caring for him and watching his confidence grow has been amazing. I also have a 3 year old malti-poo who we have raised since he was a puppy. He might be small in size, but he has a massive personality. Big and small. Old and young. Anxious and confident. They are polar opposites and this has allowed me to cover all bases when it comes to pet care. I also have experience cat sitting, which I started doing for my neighbors at 16 years old. My experience in caring for a variety of pet needs and my love for animals means you can rest easy knowing I will care for your pet as I do my own. I currently work part-time, on a rotating schedule, meaning I’m available for pet care four days a week or alternatively after 4pm on days I do have work. I take the time to get to know your pet’s individual personality, routine and needs, and I’m happy to follow their usual schedules. My dogs love sticking to their routine so I have no issues doing this. I can also follow any specific care instructions you provide, including medication if needed. My greyhound hates taking his daily medication so I’ve learnt how to be persuasive! I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Most importantly, your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, care, and belly rubs!

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. One of my friend’s Cockapoos even stayed overnight in our home for a week, so I’m experienced in helping dogs settle into a new environment and feel comfortable. About: I am a huge animal lover, have had dogs my whole life and currently have a 3 year old female Cockapoo who loves play dates. I also helped to care for my 2 elderly family dogs who had arthritis and hip dysplasia and needed daily medication. Having been through separation anxiety with my own dog, I know how important it is to get the best care for them, with someone you can trust. I guarantee to care for your dog as though they are my own and give them all the love and attention they need. I also know how expensive dog care can be so I aim to keep my rates low to help people with access to affordable and reliable care. I work from home so can be with your dog 24/7. I can walk them with my dog before and after work and they will have access to the garden all day. I have a completely enclosed garden and my dog Leni will keep your fur baby company. She loves to play but can also be very calm when needed and usually gets along with all dogs.

About: Hi, I’m Ellen, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. For years I’ve been entrusted to walk dogs belonging to friends, family and paying customers, and to do drop-in visits for pets. I also walk and care for my own two dogs, Bella and Wilby, on a daily basis. In 2021 I also had the wonderful experience of raising Bella’s litter of 5 puppies in my family home, from their birth right up until they moved in with their new families (apart from Wilby who we decided to keep!). Wilby is an anxious dog and doesn’t get on well with other dogs, so I’m experienced in walking particularly difficult and antisocial dogs. I’m currently a university student, so my pet care fits around my university schedule. I’m available during the early mornings and the evenings, and my availability varies during working hours, but I’ll always be able to make time for your pet. I’m also available throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays. Whilst on walks, I prefer to stick to green areas rather than roads for both the safety and enjoyment of your pup. I also shower them with all the pets and attention that they could want.
