About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and was already walking, feeding and caring for them from around 9–10 years old, so I count that as part of my experience alongside what I do now professionally. Ive naturally become the person people rely on when they need help with their pets. I now run my own pet care business, so this is something I do properly, not just casually. I focus on keeping pets in their usual routine and environment so they feel as settled and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and currently working towards further professional qualifications, as well as preparing to offer licensed boarding. I’m calm, patient and used to different personalities — whether that’s energetic dogs or more nervous ones — and I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, cuddles and reassurance while they’re with me. I treat them like they’re my own and aim to keep everything as easy and stress-free as possible. References are always available if you’d like them. I structure my days around the pets I’m caring for, so they’re never just “fit in.” I’m flexible with mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I keep my routine light so I can give plenty of time, attention, walks, and cuddles throughout the day. I’ll always work around your dog’s usual routine so everything feels familiar and calm for them 🩶 I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routines, and all their little quirks, so I can care for them properly and keep things calm and consistent. Your pet will be cared for within my own home following your pets patterns of behaviour. I follow your pets nutrition needs and ensure your pet is regularly taken for long walks local and in the countryside, no matter what the weather. Regular cleansing/bathing. Plenty of love, cuddles and treats for good behaviour.
About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.
About: I have lots of experience caring for pets as my degree has allowed me to work in both kennels and catteries, getting to know different animals and how to care for them. I have always had pets in the house and have a great love for all animals. My degree is quite full on, however midweek and weekends I would be able fit you and your pet in. Being around animals is very important to me and I often drop anything for the opportunity to cuddle a cute pup I am not able to have pets in my home at the moment but would be more than happy looking after your pet in your home, or taking your dogs for walks. I would be more confident walking dogs on leads as I would be worried if they do not have strong recall skills, however I would always ensure they have enough excercise.
About: I got my dog, Ruby, when I was 8. She has been my rock. I absolutely love taking care, feeding and walking her as well as giving all the affection and fuss a dog needs! I am relied on by family, friends and neighbours to do these tasks for their dogs in the past, but I am glad to and enjoy it as I have such a soft spot for all dogs! I am currently a university student, who is only in university 2 days a week. Due to this I have a lot of time free to look after your pup. I live 2.5hrs away from home and my dog Ruby, I miss her and the comfort a dog brings. In my spare time I love being active especially love walks around the river trent… so why not bring a furry friend with me! As I am currently in student housing, I would prefer to look after a dog within the owners home but as we do have a gated garden and a clean safe home, I am more than happy to accommodate at my home if needed.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
