1. Abbi F.

“I have been extremely pleased with the care Abbi F gave my cats whilst I was away. The photographs were very reassuring, as it's the first time I've had a pet sitter and I wondered (a little anxiously) how "Big Puss" and "Little Girl" would react but no problems. A big Thank you.”

3. Eleanor S.
“Eleanor took care of our Dog, Mildred, for a couple of days when we had to go away at very short notice. I’m guessing that she had the best time - As when we went to pick her up, she wasn’t at all bothered when we turned up at the front door! 😆 But we’re delighted to have found someone who clearly adores dogs - And wouldn’t hesitate to call on her to look after Mildred whenever needed.”

4. Raymond P.
“We have a Jack Russel called Lottie and Raymond has looked after her for us ,she loves going to the house and he treats her as if she is one of the family , it is like home from home . It means alot when you know your dog is going to have a nice time and be well looked after when you are not with them I would highly recommend.”

10. Max E.
About: I have enjoyed learning canine psychology and body language since around the age 10, this help me understand my dogs and find new ways of training them which is one of my favourite hobbies, although since moving out of my parents I have been really busy and I don’t have any time to get a dog of my own so I would absolutely love to look after dogs in my spare time. I don’t mind walking and training dogs, administering medications, check ins to provide some mental stimulation, make sure everything is okay or to let them into the garden. I have just finnished studying and I’m hoping I can spend some time walking peoples dogs as I’ve moved out of home and cannot see my own regularly due to the bus schedule. I have a lot of free time now until September when I start my degree so I would absolutely love to board and walk your pets. I am free all the time currently and I need something to do which I enjoy as dogs are one of my favourite things in the world. I am calm, patient, and understanding of a dogs behaviour and will always treat them with respect for the entire time I am with them. I only ever use positive reinforcement such as verbal rewarding or treats rather than shouting. I live in the center of Scarborough and have a small garden which they can use while also being able to easily get to the beach, forests, parks and fields to let them burn off some energy. My parents and family dogs live in Staintondale where there is a large fenced garden and plenty of fields to burn off energy and play games.

11. Janet H.

She has a wonderful caring nature and we trust her completely with our precious boy when we go away. Amelia has grown up around dogs and has great experience in looking after all types of doggies.”

13. Chloe S.
About: Hi thanks for taking the time to read my profile My name is Chloe I’m 32 years old and dog obsessed! I studied at one of the best animal care colleges in the uk (writtle) and have recently qualified as a dog groomer. I will be opening my grooming business when I have bought my property in two years. I have just purchased a puppy golden retriever so your dog must be good around young pups if they are to stay in my home with me. I have been a sitter for just over a year now, I have always been around dogs as my grandmother rescues them abroad and I’d often help her with all different sizes and breeds. I have owned dogs most of my life so I’m very experienced, you can relax knowing they will be very safe in my care. They will be spoilt with cuddles and attention, I love long walks along the sea front and beach so they will get lots of exercise if required. I work self employed from home so I have free time to walk or sit your dogs at any time of day or evening. When your dog is in my care he/she will be very spoilt with love, attention and way too many cuddles and trips outdoors, I love integrating pets into my life style because it gets me out and about rather than sitting on my laptop working all day and I just love the company of dogs and enjoy every minute as you can tell from my photos I’m always happiest when I’m with dogs and always form bonds with them Please note that day care is between 8am-8pm anything beyond this I class as an overnight booking. I generally won’t take dogs that are not toilet trained. **PRICES WILL DROP IF THERE ARE REPEAT BOOKINGS** I only start with high prices to begin with. I can care for pets in your home, large dogs might be a bit difficult but I’m happy to walk larger breeds and sit them in your home.

14. Helen J.
“My mum has cared for both my feline and canine fur babies! I always know they’ll be well loved and cared for when they spend the day with grandma. Sandy most appreciates having a lap to curl up on, whilst Peanut loves his prompt feeding schedule. If ever I’m looking for an update on how their days are going, mum is just on the end of the phone with pictures waiting. With my mums vast experience with different species over the years I always know I can trust her to care for my beloved pets. As Sandy is a spaniel she is prone to her mischievous moments, unfortunately Sandy cut her pad on a walk, but mum knew exactly how to get her the care she needed and swiftly sought veterinary treatment, and then was able to administer her daily medication with no problems, and provide bandage care to promote healing her back to health in no time.”

15. Hannah B.

“Hannah was excellent at her job of looking after our cats, good communication on and off the app, lovely photos and happy cats! We were never worried about our cats health or happiness whilst being cared for by Hannah. Thoroughly recommend Hannah and will be utilising her again for future trips away to look after our pets.”

16. Kay M.
“Kay has been walking our Akita mix for a number of years now and she is a close friend of ours. She is so reliable and happy to be flexible when we need her, as well as being incredible with the dog! She is always calm and patient with our boy, who is strong and can sometimes be unruly on walks - Kay has always been able to keep control of him. We 100% recommend her as someone who loves dogs and is a kind person!”

17. Maisie C.
“Maisie is a genuinely loving, caring, nurturing person. She loves animals but especially dogs. Maisie has grown up with dogs being around all her life.”

18. Ruth B.
“Ruth is currently caring for on a regular basis. 12 Alpacas, 2 donkeys, 6 Ckns, 2 cats and a puppy, on a small farm . Nothing fazes her . She is confident and honest and will love your pets while away, helping you have a relaxing holiday. She can provide references if needed.”
