We left our 7 year old Cockapoo with Leanne and David for 3 hours whilst we took the children to Alpamare water park, and he played with their dog, and we picked up a very happy dog. Can't thank you both enough and we are more than happy to fully recommend

We couldn’t be happier with the care Raymond and his partner provided for our dog, Bella! From the moment we met them, it was clear how loving and dedicated they are. They truly went out of their way to accommodate us and make Bella feel right at home. Bella was so happy and comfortable during her stay — we could tell she was well cared for, loved, and treated like part of their family. They kept us updated and were incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We will definitely use their services again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and genuinely wonderful pet sitters. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of Bella!

Mica was very chilled and we felt at ease after meeting her. Luna warmed to Mica straight away. The house was clean, tidy and safe. We would definitely use Mica again. Luna returned happy and playful. Grest over night stay. Mica is close by to the Scarborough open air theatre , as we were attending a gig there that evening the location was perfect.

Coming up from south wales with no recommendations for dog care in the area I found Wayne.. Wayne looked after Blaidd out GSD brilliantly, he kindly had her the whole weekend while my husband raced in Olivets mount. He gave me constant updates and photos. I think Blaidd enjoyed her stay so much she was reluctant to leave and watched him disappear through the window after being put in the car upset to be going home. Great service. Next Olivers mount we attend will 100% use Wayne.

Went to a caravan for 3 nights and had to get a dog sitter for my wee dog Mia as she just wouldn’t settle. Helen was absolutely amazing I can’t express that enough! She answered straight away when I booked, she sent me pictures of Mia to let me know how she was getting on and kept in touch with texts to keep me updated. She has her own three dogs and you can tell they’re all pampered pooches 🥰 if anyone is looking for a dog sitter in this area I would 100% recommend Helen and will definitely be back myself 🙈❤️

Molly is an old lady with a few problems. Natalie was a perfect fit for her from first meeting to collection after her visit. When she was dropped off she immediately abandoned us and made herself at home in Natalie's house. We would highly recommend her as a sitter, particularly as she only takes one dog at a time. Molly we think enjoyed the company of Natalie's own dog too.

About: We’ve had dogs all our lives and currently care for two of our own, so we’re confident handling all ages, sizes, and personalities. We also foster dogs until they find their forever homes, which has given us hands‑on experience with nervous dogs, unsure rescues, and dogs with behavioural challenges. Through fostering and personal experience, we’ve become comfortable administering medications, building trust with anxious dogs, and creating calm, safe routines for pets who need extra patience and reassurance. Pet care fits easily into our routine because I work from home and my partner works part‑time, so there is always someone at home. This means dogs are never left alone, get plenty of attention, and can enjoy regular playtime, and a calm, consistent environment throughout the day. We provide a calm, dog‑friendly home where pets are always supervised as one of us is always in. We keep routines consistent, follow all feeding and medication instructions carefully, and make sure walks and garden time are safe and secure. Whether in our home or yours, we focus on creating a relaxed, trustworthy environment where every dog feels comfortable.

Karrie and Kevin were absolutely incredible with our 2. Being a Belgian Shepherd, Ava isn’t quick to warm with new people, and yet she was soon easing herself gently into her loving temporary home alongside her Golden Retriever sister Pink and her adopted sister, German Shepherd Willow, owned by Karrie and Kevin. I would not hesitate to book again.

It was the first time for me to leave Monty for this time as he’s only 15 months old and a very precious family member. Monty met Zach and did a getting to you know session and then spent 5 days and nights with Zach - Monty has clearly had a “holiday” I arrived home and he was full of beans and had clearly been very well cared for.. thank you Zach. You will be top of my contacts for any future doggy daycare/sleepover needs.. I can’t thank you enough ..

My dog Clive stayed with Catherine and her husband last night. I took Clive to the house to see Catherine and let him have a feel of the place. I knew almost immediately he would be in the best hands. I had no doubts about leaving him there. He can be a handful at the best of times but she is very experienced, very kind and knowledgeable and managed him beautifully. He was in the best hands, living his best life. I would not hesitate to recommend or use again. Thank you ❤️ 😊

I couldn't be happier with the care and attention that Santa provided to my dog during her three-day stay. From the moment I dropped off my dog, I knew she was in good hands. Santa has a warm and welcoming home that immediately put my dog at ease. She took the time to understand my dog's routine, preferences, and any special needs she had. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my dog's well-being. Throughout the stay, Santa provided regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. It was evident that my dog was having a wonderful time and receiving plenty of love and attention. I could tell that Santa went above and beyond to make my dog feel comfortable and loved. My dog came back home happy, healthy, and tired from all the fun she had.

About: I have recently got two amazing bengals that have completely changed my perspective on cats, I’m so allergic but that won’t stop me from loving them more than anything. I don’t mind boarding or checkins to feed, play with, change their litter or clear up any mess they’ve made if they’re anything like these two. I am also comfortable administering or attempting to administer medication if necessary.

About: Dogs have always been in our family. Since I was 17 I have always owned a dog. Our last dog- Bailey was with us until he was 16. Recently we have a new addition to the household- paddy, he is a lively, friend Springador who loves to play. We also have ‘puggy’ who is getting old now and just likes to relax most days. I adore dogs, and have many years experience of how to care for them properly. I enjoy daily walks in the local area, at the beach and in the woods. I am currently on maternity leave from work so can be available every day. I have 2 young children at home who love our dogs. We go out for daily walks. I have a fenced yard so toilet breaks can be regular, I usually leave the back door open all day so dogs can go in and out as they please. Daily walks will be offered if needed. Dogs can be crated if needed but I don’t really like doing it.

About: Hi thanks for taking the time to read my profile My name is Chloe I’m 32 years old and dog obsessed! I studied at one of the best animal care colleges in the uk (writtle) and have recently qualified as a dog groomer. I will be opening my grooming business when I have bought my property in two years. I have just purchased a puppy golden retriever so your dog must be good around young pups if they are to stay in my home with me. I have been a sitter for just over a year now, I have always been around dogs as my grandmother rescues them abroad and I’d often help her with all different sizes and breeds. I have owned dogs most of my life so I’m very experienced, you can relax knowing they will be very safe in my care. They will be spoilt with cuddles and attention, I love long walks along the sea front and beach so they will get lots of exercise if required. I work self employed from home so I have free time to walk or sit your dogs at any time of day or evening. When your dog is in my care he/she will be very spoilt with love, attention and way too many cuddles and trips outdoors, I love integrating pets into my life style because it gets me out and about rather than sitting on my laptop working all day and I just love the company of dogs and enjoy every minute as you can tell from my photos I’m always happiest when I’m with dogs and always form bonds with them Please note that day care is between 8am-8pm anything beyond this I class as an overnight booking. I generally won’t take dogs that are not toilet trained. **PRICES WILL DROP IF THERE ARE REPEAT BOOKINGS** I only start with high prices to begin with. I can care for pets in your home, large dogs might be a bit difficult but I’m happy to walk larger breeds and sit them in your home.

About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I have a car, can work in York and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

We were so pleased to have found Wayne on Rover, especially as we needed to make last-minute arrangements due to a change in plans. From the moment they met, Ronnie took to Wayne straight away, which immediately put our minds at ease. Wayne kept us updated throughout Ronnie's stay, and it was clear he was being well looked after. When we picked Ronnie up, he was relaxed, happy, and completely himself, which is always the best sign that he's been comfortable and cared for. Thank you, Wayne, for looking after Ronnie so well. About: I have enjoyed learning canine psychology and body language since around the age 10, this help me understand my dogs and find new ways of training them which is one of my favourite hobbies, although since moving out of my parents I have been really busy and I don’t have any time to get a dog of my own so I would absolutely love to look after dogs in my spare time. I don’t mind walking and training dogs, administering medications, check ins to provide some mental stimulation, make sure everything is okay or to let them into the garden. I have just finnished studying and I’m hoping I can spend some time walking peoples dogs as I’ve moved out of home and cannot see my own regularly due to the bus schedule. I have a lot of free time now until September when I start my degree so I would absolutely love to board and walk your pets. I am free all the time currently and I need something to do which I enjoy as dogs are one of my favourite things in the world. I am calm, patient, and understanding of a dogs behaviour and will always treat them with respect for the entire time I am with them. I only ever use positive reinforcement such as verbal rewarding or treats rather than shouting. I live in the center of Scarborough and have a small garden which they can use while also being able to easily get to the beach, forests, parks and fields to let them burn off some energy. My parents and family dogs live in Staintondale where there is a large fenced garden and plenty of fields to burn off energy and play games.

Claire was a fantastic help last minute when we needed help. She was very clear with instructions which was good with us just visiting the area on holiday. Our dog had a fantastic day with Claire and her family and her outdoor space and set up is excellent. We were so impressed with how personable Claire was that we asked if we could book her again whilst we’re here on holiday with full peace of mind!

About: I work part time from home so plenty of attention during your pet’s stay with us. Both myself and my husband have grown up around dogs, we have also had two family dogs over the past 20 years or so, but sadly our last fur baby left us for Rainbow Bridge seven years ago, aged 14. We have hosted dogs belonging to family and friends, for day visits, overnight stays and special trips to the seaside. We only accept well behaved dogs and prior to booking we always have a meet and greet with yourselves and your dog, we're sure you would also like to meet us too. We would love to know the little quirks and character of your dog to ensure he/she has a happy and settled stay with us, so let us know any special requirements, no matter how small, which your dog would require for his/her happiness and well being. During your dog’s stay with us he/she will enjoy two daily walks along country fields close to our home, around 40 mins each, if your dog requires less of more please let us know. Once the weekend arrives we explore the wider area, with walks surrounding the town we call home. Our home has a secure and fenced garden accessible from the kitchen via patio doors which are open most of the day, weather permitting, for your dog to enjoy the garden. The kitchen is the heart of our home, so rest assured your dog will be part of the family during his/her stay. The room provides a cosy corner where your furbaby is able to snuggle in their bed if they feel the need to nap in between exploring new places, enjoying a new social life and playing with favourite toys. Within 5 minutes of our home we have open countryside for walks, a run a round or a game of fetch.

Wayne obviously enjoys the company of dogs. Vinny can be a bit boisterous when he sees other dogs and Wayne took Vinny on higher energy dog being dog focused walks. Ensured Vinny had a full hour (and then some) walk. Was always on time and sent updates throughout the walk to its photos of Vinny having the best time. We had a happy and content old man back. Thanks Wayne.

About: PLEAAAASE MESSAGE ME ABOUT PRICES - THEY CHANGE, MOSTLY CHEAPER !! 🫶🏻 ALL WALKS WILL BE OVER 45 MIN UNLESS STATED YOU WANT IT SHORTER 🫶🏻 MESSAGE ME ABOUT COST OF ADDITIONAL NIGHTS 🫶🏻 i’ve been looking after dogs for multiple years now - i can cater to needs very well. able to be kept separate from other people but me if needed! doggie photo updates will also happily be given! looking after fur babies isn’t a real job for me. i would happily move things around in my plans to make things work - i have a better day with a dog by my side. also gives me a reason to be active! i love taking dogs on trips out on the train to go have a really long scenic walk - let me know if this is okay! (looking to make this my full time job if it goes well!) i am very flexible with different dog’s needs! let me know specifically what is needed from me :) can be kept social with different adults in the house, or can be kept separate with me if the doggie has anxiety or separation issues.

About: I have been around dogs from birth and spent much time looking after my parents collie which included long country walks, feeding and grooming. When I met my partner Jo later on, we got ourselves a large house with a fenced off garden, and not long after, we adopted our first rescue dog, Ben, a springer spaniel. Unfortunately due to health issues, we did not have Ben very long, but we made sure he had a good, happy life. Some time later, we adopted another rescue dog, Bonnie, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. We quickly found that Bonnie was not settling well and required the company of another dog so we then adopted Amity, a springer spaniel, as a companion. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after our 3 dogs with walks, feeding, administering medication when needed, and tending to any other needs. Our dogs always came first, were very much part of the family, and had happy lives and a home where they were loved. Sadly, all our dogs have now passed away but we still want to offer up our home to other people's dogs and look after them just as much as we did with our dogs. Myself and my partner both work part time, so we are at home for most of the day apart from one hour in the morning when we are both at work. We have a large fenced off garden for dogs to run around and play in. Dogs have free run of the house unless owners specify that they must not be in the bedroom or on furniture. We have an under stairs area for dogs who prefer a covered, quiet area to sleep in. I have pet sitters insurance to cover your dog while in our care and I also hold a DBS certificate. We will only take one owner's dog(s) for boarding at any time. We will never take dogs from multiple owners at the same time.

About: I have an eight year border collie cross who absolutely loves her walks. I take her for a walk twice a day during the week and up to three times a day on weekends. I'd like to offer to take other dogs for their much needed walks when their owners are unable to do so, as I see how much Chloe enjoys her walks and really looks forward to them. I am also happy to board one dog at a time, especially the more shy or nervous dogs as Chloe has only recently started relaxing in her surroundings, so I know how stressful it can be for dog and owner if you need to leave your dog with someone but you know they are nervous and need a bit more TLC.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was the age of 15. Little terriers that required so much attention and big ones that need none! To say I come from a family of dog lovers is an understatement! I currently work from home 3 days a week and am only away for Monday and Wednesday. I walk everyday and need someone to enjoy Harry Potter audio books with! I currently live in a flat with easily accessible large outdoor spaces just a 2 minute walk away.

She answered straight away when I booked, she sent me pictures of Mia to let me know how she was getting on and kept in touch with texts to keep me updated. Chris was excellent with my dogs, both have specific needs, willow is old and needs tablets for her arthritis and George is young, big and quite clumsy, he's also a bit of artist. Chris managed both their needs well and kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely use him again

Laura is a first class dog sitter and did everything and more than we expected when we left Ben overnight with her. She sent pictures of him out on his walks and playing with other dogs on her farm. We were very fortunate to find Laura at fairly short notice and will definitely use her again. Highly recommended. Thank you Laura
