Pet Sitting Selby

About: I have grown up with a variety of animals my entire life, all varying in ages and sizes. I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s 11 month old puppy and training where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college. With my weekends free, I work from home on Mondays and Fridays which allow me to pet sit on these days, I can do overnight stays so long as I don’t have an event. With my job I sometimes do overtime which allows me to book off additional days for pet sitting should I need to. I prefer looking after pets in the pet owners home as I believe pets deserve to feel at home and safe, what safer space is there for them than a space they live in. I will provide the upmost care and respect in your home, I am also DBS checked

She sent lots of photos each visit and kept me updated on how well they were eating, if they didn't feel like playing that day or if she had any concerns so I wasn't worried at all. My cats have also tended to sulk when I have left them with other people before but they seemed really happy when I got back. Will definately book again in future :)”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a young child. I’ve dealt with dogs with medical issues, mobility issues and senior dogs. I love taking them for walks and bonding with them. I work from home so my schedule is flexible for your pet needs whether it be taking them on a walk or drop in visits. I work from home so I can take dogs out at anytime of the day; I can take dogs out for multiple walks a day I have a yard with 1 dog friendly dog who loves other animals to interact with; comfortable home environment to make dogs feel safe away from home

About: Hi there, I’m Amy! I’ve taken care of dogs for years, including several family friends, and my own family pet Poppy the Springer Spaniel. I am the main caregiver when family is away and am confident looking after dogs of all kinds. I am currently working in a school, so have availability every evening after 4, and also on weekends. I am available for regular care, and am happy to do overnight care occasionally. I am available to walk your dog or visit at the sitters house. I am used to caring for anxious and distressed dogs and know how to calm them down in their own homes and public.

About: I have experience of owning and looking after family and friends dogs. I am a keen walker, loving nothing more than being out with dogs locally. I curently work part time in a freelance basis at home so have lots of time to help to care for and walk dogs locally. I am always up and about walking our dog early, then we have a other couple of walks planned through the day. We have an enclosed garden so we have fun between walks playing in the garden. I have a large fully enclosed back garden and live in a village near Selby giving us access to beautiful walks and fields on my doorstep.

About: I’m a friendly dog lover offering dog sitting, walking, and boarding. I grew up with dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with a range of breeds. I’m confident, calm, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs, routines, and personalities. I also send regular updates and photos, giving you peace of mind that your furry family member is being cared for like one of my own! Now that I’ve bought a house, l really miss having a dog around to take on long walks, play with, and cuddle up with on the sofa. Whilst saving for my wedding, this felt like the perfect way to combine my free time with my genuine love for dogs 🐾 I’m available most days for boarding or daycare as I can choose which days I work from home. When I am working from home, rest assured your dog will still have company all day as I pop their bed next to me as I work, so that they can signal its belly scratch time whenever they want! On sunny days, i’ll work in the garden with the patio doors open so that they can soak up the sunshine and inspect my plants! ☺️ My garden is completely fenced in with no side access, so you won’t need to worry about your dogs getting anywhere they shouldn’t (I know they can sometimes try to be houdini!) I also have experience with dogs which don’t like other dogs and need that extra bit of planning and dog awareness on walks to ensure all dogs involved remain as calm and stress free as possible. So if you do have a dog which you would rather doesn’t come into contact with any other dogs (I know the feeling) please rest assured I am confident and comfortable with this and I just require that they wear a harness for safety reasons :)

About: I have been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. Back in my home country, raised my own dog from a tiny puppy, and he is now a lovely ten-year-old senior dog. Looking after him over all these years has given me valuable hands-on experience caring for older dogs, understanding their slower pace, special health needs and gentle care requirements. 么 I also rescued and cared for six cats while living in China. This means your dog will get constant companionship, frequent daily walks, regular feeding times, plenty of playtime and rest. 1 am also happy to administer medication if needed. I treat every pet that stays with me like a member of my own family. Throughout their booking, I will send you regular photo and text updates, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you are away. I welcome puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs of all temperaments. I am currently not working and stay at home full-time, so I can dedicate plenty of time to look after, play with and walk your dog every single day. I am fully available for pet-boarding services all week with no strict time restrictions. I have rich long-term pet-care experience. I previously cared for six cats and a 10-year-old dog back in my home country. Now I own a one-year-old friendly, well-socialised dog here in the UK. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young, having 3 family dogs in the home. I love the outdoors and walking loads too for the more adventurous dogs too! I work hybrid so have the flexibility to WFH meaning lots of cuddles and toilet breaks, plenty of walks and engagement. I also work half days on Friday so have the availability to walk on Friday afternoons too. I am happy to view homes before dog sitting and understand the environment in which your pet lives in, will require the basic needs of your dog before hand and learn about their habits (no off lead etc)

About: I'm currently a student Occupational Therapist who is really missing my family's pets while I'm at uni! 🐾 I love animals and know how important they are as valued members of the family! As a teenager I volunteered for the Cats Protection League and would clean litter trays for people in my local area who couldn't do so themselves. I would often dogsit for neighbours, and have even looked after someone's pet frogs before! 🐾 I adapt to whatever style of care your pet needs - some pets value calm and slow paced interactions, and some pets seem to have unlimited amounts of energy! My goal is to keep your pet happy in a style that is closest to their normal. 🐾 I am a very clean person, who will send regular updates via text and video. I have a fully enhanced DBS, and solid references :) 🐾 It's currently the summer holidays at University, so my schedule is completely flexible! I am doing a lot of studying at the moment, which can be done with your pet if they need extra company or supervision 🤓📖 I volunteer at my local community garden for a few hours a week, but this is flexible. I'll happily send update videos and pictures, and will always make sure you know what's going on. I understand that pets feel upset when their family leave for a trip, so I try to make the experience a positive one!

About: Hello, I’m Rebecca! ☺️ I joined Rover because I need my fix of furry friends! I grew up with pets, and I miss being around animals. I’m a 31 year old looking to pet sit alongside my full time job. I would love a little pup of my own, but due to my current housing situation, that isn’t possible (yet)! I do a lot of long walks, so would love the company. I’m happy to look after your pets in your home or take them out for a run, whatever the weather! I love dogs of all different sizes, ages, training and energy levels.
