Our household routine means dogs have company throughout the day. We’re experienced with a wide range of personalities: energetic dogs, anxious dogs, first-time boarders, and dogs who prefer a real home environment instead of kennels. We follow all licensing requirements, including structured routines, safe supervision, hygiene protocols, and clear communication with owners. With a fantastic coastal location just moments from Scarborough’s North Bay we offer great walks and a true family stay for you dogs. We're an early-rising household, so dogs start their day with a proper beach walk before 8am. After that, breakfast is served and dogs can relax around the house while the humans get on with work. Dogs are never left alone, and they have easy access to our secure garden throughout the day for toilet breaks, sniffing, and exploring. Lunchtime usually includes a short walk with plenty of sniffing and a bit of play. Afternoons are a chilled part of the day while the humans work, with dogs free to rest, potter about, or enjoy the garden. Evenings include another walk often a bit longer,as needed, followed by downtime, attention, and plenty of cuddles before bed. Lottie was well looked after and the updates on the report cards were lovely as this is the longest we'd ever left her so this gave us peace of mind. Communication was excellent and I had no worries while we were away, when we next go away Jessica will be our first option to look after our girl and hopefully Lottie will be friends next time!”

“What a woman?! From the off, Claires correspondance and communication was brilliant! We had a weird circumstance that we couldn't meet beforehand to introduce her, as we were travelling from outside the area, for just a short amount of time. This didn't put her off though, and despite me never having used Rover before, she seemed the perfect fit for my slightly nervous wee boy! On rocking up, she made him feel welcome immediately. She gave the fuss pot a wee chew, then took him down to her fully enclosed courtyard garden and let himself sniff about whilst tossing a squeak ball for him. She sent me photos throughout the day. (Though our signal was poor, we had them through all at once which was lovely!) On pick up he was happy to see us, but also not in any rush to leave! Thank you Claire for looking after my boy with such care. If we are ever in the area again and needed help, I would not hesitate to reach out!”
About: I've taken care of a lurcher & grey hound sitting overnight at friend's house in Whitby I also have taken care of our son's dog I used to house sit my friends three dogs and cat for a few days at a time over three consecutive years I work from home as a Homeopath . So I can work around this very easily I live in Norton and would walk to the owners home to care for their pets My garden is not completely secure . So would prefer not to have them here . Plus we have a cat that's not keen on sharing
About: I have been a petsiitter, walker, companion for many years. I love all fur babies, recently looked after chickens too. I am First Aid trained and can administer medicines. I have a car, i cover the Ryedale and surrounding areas. Will consider further afield but a minimum of one continous week. Always recommend a meetup before a booking for a cuppa and maybe a biscuit 😉 Recently retired. As i am an animal lover and experienced pet sitter for cats, dogs, chickens i can't think of a better way to spend my time. I cannot look after pets in my own home sadly. I can only offer pet sitting, Vet visits, Pop-ins for all fur babies, chickens, feeding, comforting, walking. Sadly I cannot look after reactive dogs because of past experience.

About: We've recently lost our two family dogs which is heart breaking. My cousin has recently got a puppy and I've been helping her with that. I had a puppy as a child. I've dog sat in other people's homes and taken them out for walks. I'm a carer for humans too! If your dog comes to my home they will sleep in my room. Cats will be separated. My partner is available for when I'm not so there is always someone to keep an eye on them. I have two private care jobs otherwise I am fully available for pet care 🐶 😺 I can cover mornings, lunch, tea and evening's, also overnight ! I love country walks. My partner helps with the business dog so if your dog needs more attention he is also available. We provide numerous walks which is included in the price In your home I will abide by your rules I have two cats at my home and we have now adopted a client's dog - border collie. Extremely friendly with everyone and everything. All three can be kept separate if needed. This can be discussed
About: I have lots of experience caring for pets as my degree has allowed me to work in both kennels and catteries, getting to know different animals and how to care for them. I have always had pets in the house and have a great love for all animals. My degree is quite full on, however midweek and weekends I would be able fit you and your pet in. Being around animals is very important to me and I often drop anything for the opportunity to cuddle a cute pup I am not able to have pets in my home at the moment but would be more than happy looking after your pet in your home, or taking your dogs for walks. I would be more confident walking dogs on leads as I would be worried if they do not have strong recall skills, however I would always ensure they have enough excercise.

“I could write pages on how Cameron and Emily treat our dog with such love and as if he is their own, but I think Chapo’s feelings are much more important. It’s our second time booking with them, and Chapo had been quite moody before we dropped him off, but as soon as we got to their house he was suddenly very happy, very excited, very waggy tail, thrilled to be back. I think that says everything that needs to be said about their brilliant care. He loves playing with Hugo, and Cameron and Emily are amazing with him. Couldn’t recommend them enough.”
