Your Dog’s Second Best Friend
I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. Growing up, my family had a female Pomeranian who was with us for over 10 years, followed by a female Husky. Caring for them gave me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities. Now I live with my partner and our spayed female Cockapoo, Loopy. Looking after her has taught me the importance of understanding each dog’s individual needs, routine and personality. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs, including a large Old English Sheepdog, whom I bathed and cared for, as well as several Cockapoos. One of my friend’s Cockapoos even stayed overnight in our home for a week, so I’m experienced in helping dogs settle into a new environment and feel comfortable. I genuinely love spending time with dogs. I enjoy taking them for walks, visiting parks and going on countryside walks together. I always pay close attention to their behaviour, comfort and wellbeing, and I’ll care for your dog with the same love and attention that I give my own.

We’re a French couple who were ending our road trip. Zixuan and her boyfriend looked after our dog Vulcain for a day so we could visit York. We met up the day before to make sure Loopy and Vulcain got on well. Vulcain had a perfect day with Zixuan! Games, walks… Pure happiness ! We got lots of photos and videos! I know it’s hard to leave your pets with someone you don’t know, but you can leave your pets with Zixuan with complete confidence. We were able to visit York knowing that our dog was having a brilliant day too. Thank you so much again!
Excellent communication before and during the stay. A meet up was scheduled before the stay which was a good change to ask questions and check that our dog got in with them, which he did! Daily updates and photos were sent which was great! He came back exhausted which is always a good sign! Thanks, would definitely use again.
I can’t recommend Zixuan highly enough! She’s looked after our dog Baxter wonderfully, he’s had a brilliant week with her and her dog and kept us updated with lots of photos and videos.

Zixuan was so friendly and welcoming. Her dog was also friendly towards Jeff, and he had such a nice time, and made himself at home. He went to the park and played with sticks, hus favourite past-time. When I collected him he was so relaxed, this made me feel happy knowing he was well looked after. Thank you so much 🙏
Zixuan looked after my Cockapoo for a week while I flew home to spend Christmas with my family. Leaving my dog behind was the hardest part of the trip, but she made it so much easier. She sent me photos and videos every day, so I always knew my dog was happy and well looked after. She took my dog out at least two or three times a day, including lovely walks by the river and trips to the park. It really felt like my dog was on holiday too! When I came back, my Cockapoo was happy, healthy and completely relaxed. It was obvious how much love and attention Zixuan had given her. I was able to enjoy Christmas with my family without constantly worrying because I knew my dog was in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Zixuan to look after my dog again, and I’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy and reliable pet sitter.

Schedule
As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give dogs plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Caring for dogs is already a big part of my daily life, as I share my home with my partner and our lovely Cockapoo, Loopy. As a Cockapoo owner myself, I understand the energy, affection and attention this breed needs, and I’m always happy to adapt to each dog’s own routine and personality. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime or simply relaxing with people, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved and at home.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always come first. I have a friendly, spayed female Cockapoo who enjoys the company of other dogs. I introduce dogs gradually and never leave them together unsupervised until I’m confident they’re comfortable with each other. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication (if needed) and any special instructions. Every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and make sure they feel relaxed and secure. My goal is for your dog to enjoy their stay just as much as you enjoy your time away.

A typical day
Every dog is different, so I’ll always follow their usual routine as closely as possible. Throughout the day we’ll go out several times for toilet breaks, walks and playtime, with longer walks depending on your dog’s age, energy level and preferences. We have a secure enclosed dog park right outside our home, as well as our own private garden where dogs can safely play and relax. When the weather is nice and your dog enjoys adventures, we sometimes take trips to the beach or nearby national parks for longer walks and new places to explore. There will also be plenty of playtime, cuddles and rest, and I’ll send regular photos and videos so you can see how your dog is getting on while you’re away.

- Before your dog’s stay, I’d love to learn as much as possible about them. Please let me know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, any medical conditions or medications, allergies, likes and dislikes, and how they usually behave around other dogs and people. It’s also helpful to know whether they’re comfortable being left alone, if they have any fears or triggers, and any commands or training they’re familiar with. The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel safe, relaxed and at home during their stay.
