Our husky Amber (4) has been with us for 3 years — she's an attention seeker, but that doesn't faze us; we know dogs like her just need someone happy to give them the engagement they're after. We usually walk our own dogs at lunchtime and after tea, but we're happy to adapt to whatever routine suits your dog best — whether that's their usual feeding times, walk schedule, or any specific habits they're used to. Both our own dogs are on specific food regimes, so we're used to weighing out meals precisely and giving supplements on schedule — it's something we look for in other carers too, so you can trust us to follow your instructions diligently, right down to the last gram. We also have a 6ft fenced garden for safe off-lead time. I'm currently between jobs, which means I have plenty of flexibility and availability during the week. Pet care fits easily into my day — whether it's a lunchtime walk, an evening routine, or being on hand throughout the day for feeding, play, and company. I'm not juggling a 9-5, so I can give your dog consistent attention and stick closely to whatever schedule they're used to. In my own home, dogs benefit from a secure 6ft fenced garden for safe off-lead time, a settled routine, and the same care I give my own two dogs — Oscar (12, beagle) and Amber (4, husky). My own dogs sleep in the kitchen overnight, but I'm happy to adapt sleeping arrangements to suit your dog's needs and what they're used to at home. For walks, I usually go out at lunchtime and after tea, but I'm flexible and happy to fit around what your dog is used to. In a pet owner's home, I follow the same principles — sticking to their normal routine, feeding schedule, and any training cues they respond to (like sit, down, leave it, or recall), so the visit feels as familiar and low-stress as possible for them.

Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of care and attention while you’re away. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to spend lots of time with the pets in my care. Whether your pet enjoys company, playtime, regular walks, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I have a secure fenced garden and a friendly indoor cat. While she is gentle and calm around other animals, she can be a little nervous around unfamiliar pets. To ensure a stress-free environment for everyone, I can keep her on a separate floor of the house when needed. My home has three floors, providing plenty of space to safely separate pets if required. I will always make sure that both your pet and my cat are comfortable, happy, and well cared for during their stay!

About: I have always loved animals and dogs in particular. I do think of them as family members and have always taken care of them in this way. I have learned a lot from training and taking care of my own dog. I am currently working part time in an ad-hoc capacity so choose my schedule. I do have a little boy who will sometimes need to be with me, he is used to dogs and very gentle. We are at home a lot of the time so looking after another dog would fit into my schedule very well. I have a fenced in garden and one friendly dog, lots of dog toys and we are often out playing in the garden. They are welcome to come inside or out as they need while they are here.
