“Charlie’s second home! - 5 STARS Leaving our cocker spaniel puppy Charlie for a whole week is never easy, but Mandi & Simon made it so easy. As a cocker at this age he can be a real handful, but they understood his breed and energy perfectly. Along with big adventures on the beach and in the fields, they had lots of enrichment games and mental stimulation to keep him busy and settled. He was absolutely spoilt and so loved from start to finish. We were kept updated with lovely pictures and messages throughout the week, which gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy and thriving. About: I’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes, including rescue dogs, and have always loved their different personalities and characters. I offer boarding, daycare, dog walking and drop-in visits. About: I have always loved animals and dogs in particular. I do think of them as family members and have always taken care of them in this way. I have learned a lot from training and taking care of my own dog. I am currently working part time in an ad-hoc capacity so choose my schedule. I do have a little boy who will sometimes need to be with me, he is used to dogs and very gentle. We are at home a lot of the time so looking after another dog would fit into my schedule very well. About: I’ve cared for family pets for many years and have attended an animal management course for animal welfare and behaviour, which included details of training animals and properly caring for a variety of different animals and pets. I have also volunteered at a dog kennels looking after dogs in kennels whilst their owners were away and I currently work at a dog groomers. I also have experience with dogs which don’t like other dogs and need that extra bit of planning and dog awareness on walks to ensure all dogs involved remain as calm and stress free as possible. So if you do have a dog which you would rather doesn’t come into contact with any other dogs (I know the feeling) please rest assured I am confident and comfortable with this and I just require that they wear a harness for safety reasons :)

About: My husband and I have looked after dogs for a number of years. These have varied, from puppies to adults, small to large, as well as high energy, confident to more nervous rescue dogs. What their stay looks like, is shaped around the needs of the dogs, their current routines, enrichment activities, exciting walks and any specific requests from their owners. We are passionate about creating an environment where a dog can thrive and develop in a home away from home. We have our own gorgeous pooch called Bonnie. She is very relaxed around other dogs, as she has socialised with dogs both inside and outside the home since we adopted her in 2024. She's very independent and calm in the house, but loves to explore with her fellow dogs when out and about on a walk. We also volunteer at a dog shelter, where we walk, train and lead enrichment activities with Romanian Rescue dogs. Through this experience working with a brilliant dog trainer and head of the charity, we understand that every dog is totally different, therefore, their care plan and routine need to reflect as much and be tailored to their personalities. As a result, we are confident with rescue dogs or those who are anxious and less confident. We typically take the dogs out for a morning walk, which will be roughly an hour. I work full time from home, which allows me to be home all day with the dogs. We will then have a shorter second walk, with playtime and enrichment thrown in! We have a fenced garden, as well as a field two minutes from our house, where dogs have plenty of space to run and play as they wish!

We can’t bring ourselves to get another dog just yet, so we would love to share yours 🥰 I call into my friends on a weekly basis and check her babies, Stanley and Sidney who are Italian Greyhounds. I work casual hours at a school on an as-needed basis, so my schedule can be quite flexible and I’m often available during the daytime as well as after school. My availability varies depending on when I’m needed at school, but I keep my calendar updated and open so you can easily see when I’m free. During the school holidays I have even greater availability for doggy day care, walks and drop-in visits. Your pet will be treated as one of the family while in my care. We have a large, secure enclosed garden with plenty of space to play and relax, and pets are welcome to make themselves comfortable in our home, including on the furniture! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young, having 3 family dogs in the home. I love the outdoors and walking loads too for the more adventurous dogs too! I work hybrid so have the flexibility to WFH meaning lots of cuddles and toilet breaks, plenty of walks and engagement. I also work half days on Friday so have the availability to walk on Friday afternoons too. I am happy to view homes before dog sitting and understand the environment in which your pet lives in, will require the basic needs of your dog before hand and learn about their habits (no off lead etc)
About: I have grown up with a variety of animals my entire life, all varying in ages and sizes. I currently provide pet sitting and walking in addition to my current full time job for friends and family. This includes looking after my sister’s puppy and training him where possible. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday in a college.
