“Gabby has just finished her dog sit for my little boy, Rolo. I cannot thank her enough! Gabby sat Rolo for 2 weeks whilst we were out of the country. I was nervous/anxious at first because we’d never left Rolo for so long but there really was no need for me to be! Gabby arrived on time as planned, which gave me plenty of time to go through instructions with her and take Rolo for a short walk. They had previously met when doing a meet and greet. Gabby messaged me every day with updates and photos, which I was really grateful for with this being a new experience for us and Rolo. My heart melted when Gabby sent me a photo of Rolo sleeping on his back, meaning that he was comfortable and trusted her. Gabby followed all instructions and checked with me if anything needed clarifying. She even watered my plants! I would highly recommend Gabby and plan on booking her in the future.”

About: I have just started using rover and I am waiting for someone to be my first booking!! At present I work remotely between Wetherby (West Yorkshire) and Boston (Lincolnshire) so I am able to accept bookings for either area! I grew up in a house of 6 dogs, and have had plenty more along the way. I have grown up with many different breeds of dogs including German Shorthaired Pointers, Cocker spaniels, Bracco Italianos, Glen of Imall Terriers and Shi Tzus. I have also dog sat a variety of dogs from highly active dogs such as Weimaraners and Bavarian Mountain Hounds, to smaller dogs such as British Bulldogs and Dashunds. Additionally, I have had cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and chickens. I love all animals and would be willing to pet sit animals of all kinds, not just cats and dogs - just message me and we can work this out ❤️ I have looked after paralysed dogs (with back legs being paralysed) where one of them was my own, blind dogs and deaf dogs, additionally I have experience in giving dogs, rabbits, and cats oral medications. Additionally, my life has revolved around the veterinary world with my Dad being a vet, I was able to join him in clinic for three years as a veterinary assistant, where I gained experience in animal care. I understand how important it is to receive updates and photos of your pet whilst you’re away as I am the same with my pets. I will send photos and updates throughout the time I am caring for your pet if that is something you would like ☀️📸 I am currently a sixth year university student so I am very flexible with my availability, and will have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I feel confident with animals and can easily follow instructions of owners. Having experience with the behaviours of gun dogs, to lesser trained dogs I feel comfortable in all environments. This is similar with other animals. Additionally, if families animals sleep in coups, kennels or cages I feel confident with handling animal movement into these.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.

I currently work 8am-5pm during the week with a 1 hour lunch break, I work in Wetherby so able to fit in walks and pet visits if local during lunch hours. I can offer weekends and any evenings for any pet care When caring for pets in their own home, I ensure they remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings while sticking closely to their usual routine. About: I have my own dog walking business. I've lived in Wetherby all my life and im proud to offer a trusted, local dog walking and pet care service loved by many in our community. My journey into dog walking began with my own rescue, Duke, who came to me as a reactive boy with a big personality. He taught me patience, confidence, and the incredible importance of understanding what dogs truly need, lessons that shaped how i care for every animal i meet. I'm IMDT accredited in canine body language, i've attended their puppy course and i continue to expand my qualifications. I'm canine first aid trained, and fully insured, with a wealth of knowledge across breeds and temperaments. Before starting my business, i had hands on experience working with all kind of animals from calves and lambs to collies on the farm, giving me a well rounded understanding of animal behaviour and care. Whether i'm walking your dog, visiting your puppy, or checking in on your cat, i treat every pet as if they were my own, with kindness, respect and a big dose of enthusiasm. About: I’ve always been around dogs and other animals since i was born. My childhood best friend was a yorkshire terrier, i have three dogs currently but i’ve experienced many dogs big and small, rescued or not! I’m currently a student and have a part time jobs typically on the weekends. I’m fully available Mondays, Thursday afternoons/evenings, Fridays and sometimes the weekend (depending on if i work both sat/sun or not)! I will always stay with the pets to make sure they’re supervised and don’t get too lonely. I always make sure to stay with the pets when i let them out in the garden especially if it’s near a road or easily accessible to the public.
