“Emily did an amazing job with our dog. He's a rescue and quite timid around new people but took to Emily straight away. She took him on plenty of walks, lots of cuddles and i think he was sad to see her go. We will definitely hire Emily again. Thank you”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.
About: I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, caring for all breeds, newborn puppies, senior and unwell pets, while confidently handling challenging situations with patience and care. I currently work 8am-5pm during the week with a 1 hour lunch break, I work in Wetherby so able to fit in walks and pet visits if local during lunch hours. I can offer weekends and any evenings for any pet care When caring for pets in their own home, I ensure they remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings while sticking closely to their usual routine. I provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of love and attention, while following all instructions provided by the owner. I also keep your home tidy, can administer basic care if required, and will send regular updates and photos so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Jordan was excellent at looking after our two dachshunds, one of which has a disability and therefore his needs are quite particular. It was a long day, 6.30am - 8pm house sit but Jordan patient and kind and was able to keep us posted throughout the day. Both dogs were happy and took to Jordan really well. 100% would have her back for another house sit.”

“My Labrador Koda had a great time with Isabella. He went on some lovely adventures and she kept us up to date with lots of photos. When we came home he was still tired from all of their fun and the house was well looked after. All instructions were followed and she even stayed a little later than we’d planned because I’d got times mixed up! Would highly recommend Isabella and will be seeing if she’s free to look after Koda in the future. Thanks very much! Xx”

“Ryan was great! We were very last minute with our booking and Ryan was beyond accommodating and understanding. He was thorough in his questions and wanting to get things organized and made it clear that he cared about our dog and our needs. He took Stanley on adventures and kept him happy and busy during the short time that they were together. We came back to a happy dog and that’s all we can ask for. 😊 We highly recommend Ryan and will definitely be calling on him again.”

“Saffron was absolutely amazing! 10/10. She was super lovely and caring. Kept us updated throughout the weekend and our two boys loved her! Ik they will defo want her back and we will 100% be using Saffron in the future! So happy I can visit my family anxiety-free! Thank you so much, Saffron! <3 xx”

“Gabby has just finished her dog sit for my little boy, Rolo. I cannot thank her enough! Gabby sat Rolo for 2 weeks whilst we were out of the country. I was nervous/anxious at first because we’d never left Rolo for so long but there really was no need for me to be! Gabby arrived on time as planned, which gave me plenty of time to go through instructions with her and take Rolo for a short walk. They had previously met when doing a meet and greet. Gabby messaged me every day with updates and photos, which I was really grateful for with this being a new experience for us and Rolo. My heart melted when Gabby sent me a photo of Rolo sleeping on his back, meaning that he was comfortable and trusted her. Gabby followed all instructions and checked with me if anything needed clarifying. She even watered my plants! I would highly recommend Gabby and plan on booking her in the future.”

About: I'm currently a student Occupational Therapist who is really missing my family's pets while I'm at uni! 🐾 I love animals and know how important they are as valued members of the family! As a teenager I volunteered for the Cats Protection League and would clean litter trays for people in my local area who couldn't do so themselves. I would often dogsit for neighbours, and have even looked after someone's pet frogs before! 🐾 I adapt to whatever style of care your pet needs - some pets value calm and slow paced interactions, and some pets seem to have unlimited amounts of energy! My goal is to keep your pet happy in a style that is closest to their normal. 🐾 I am a very clean person, who will send regular updates via text and video. I have a fully enhanced DBS, and solid references :) 🐾 It's currently the summer holidays at University, so my schedule is completely flexible! I am doing a lot of studying at the moment, which can be done with your pet if they need extra company or supervision 🤓📖 I volunteer at my local community garden for a few hours a week, but this is flexible. I'll happily send update videos and pictures, and will always make sure you know what's going on. I understand that pets feel upset when their family leave for a trip, so I try to make the experience a positive one!
“Courtney came to sit for us at short notice and she was amazing . Our poodle can be very shy however she liked Courtney straight away because of her calm confidence. Courtney took her for several walks throughout the day and sent us some photos to show Super having a relaxing day. I felt very comfortable leaving Super and would definitely contact Courtney again and throughly recommend her. Courtney was kind,,calm and knowledgeable of dogs, she was lovely with us on a busy morning getting ready for our son’s wedding ! Thank you Courtney - Super was very lucky to have you with her for the day .”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience looking after my mum’s and sister’s dogs while they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve cared for them in my own home, making sure they stick to their usual routines with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. Looking after pets has taught me how important it is to provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m reliable, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. My availability may vary slightly depending on my work shifts, but I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight care whenever possible. Feel free to get in touch with your dates, and I’ll always do my best to help. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, friendly, and welcoming home where pets can relax and feel part of the family. I don’t have any other pets, so your pet will have my full attention and won’t need to adjust to other animals in the home. Pets are welcome on the furniture if that is part of their normal routine, helping them feel comfortable and at ease. I am happy to follow your pet’s usual habits and routines, including feeding, exercise, and any special requirements. I work part time, which means I am home a lot and can provide plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I also have a roommate who is usually home when I am not, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am also happy to stay in your home if that is what makes your pet feel most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different and will always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care.
“Helene kan anbefales på det varmeste. Hun er voksen, hyggelig, holder avtaler og var veldig flink med min hund. Hun sendte meg oppdateringer med bilder, noe som var svært betryggende for meg. Jeg vil gjerne ha Helene som hundepasser igjen om jeg får anledning.”

“How fortunate we feel to have come across Faye’s details . From out first pre visit we knew we were in safe hands . All Chester’s routines , likes and dislikes were carefully noted .No stone was left unturned . From arriving at the airport for our holiday , we received our first photo . She was safely in and was already bonding . From that moment we both completed relaxed . She has been a breathe of fresh air . On returning she waited for us to arrive , even though we were delayed . House was immaculate and Chester was happy and content. Communication from start to finish was superb . The whole process was seamless and we have found a gem in Faye”

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs, cats, and even a reptile, each with unique personalities and needs. I’m a big fan of walking with dogs. I am currently working during the week, and so I am free to dog/cat/house sit during evenings or weekends. From 6-7pm onwards in the evening. I will ask for detailed instructions on the pets requirements and routine and maintain this the best I can. I am able to give dogs medication or eye drops etc. I can provide regular updates to the pet owner on their pets well-being.
About: Animals have always been a part of my life. Since I was a child our family home welcomed different kinds of pets and I enjoyed looking after them. I love being around animals as they simply make me smile and feel happy. In my home country we have a dog called Phoebe, a cat called Joey, and a hamster called Tengu. I also have taken care of friends and family's pets where i have walked, fed and cared for them. I'm a reliable, patient and neat person. I'm fully DBS checked. I'm happy to offer drop-in visits, dog walking, pet and house-sitting services. I’m self-employed and my schedule is very flexible, so I’ll have plenty of time to look after your pets and give them all the attention they need. I’m fully DBS checked for your peace of mind. I’ll treat your home with respect, stay only in the agreed areas, and follow your exact instructions for looking after your pets.
About: I have my own dog walking business. I've lived in Wetherby all my life and im proud to offer a trusted, local dog walking and pet care service loved by many in our community. My journey into dog walking began with my own rescue, Duke, who came to me as a reactive boy with a big personality. He taught me patience, confidence, and the incredible importance of understanding what dogs truly need, lessons that shaped how i care for every animal i meet. I'm IMDT accredited in canine body language, i've attended their puppy course and i continue to expand my qualifications. I'm canine first aid trained, and fully insured, with a wealth of knowledge across breeds and temperaments. Before starting my business, i had hands on experience working with all kind of animals from calves and lambs to collies on the farm, giving me a well rounded understanding of animal behaviour and care. Whether i'm walking your dog, visiting your puppy, or checking in on your cat, i treat every pet as if they were my own, with kindness, respect and a big dose of enthusiasm. I'm proud to be known locally as "Local, Loved, and Trusted" I work full time as a dog walker between 8am–3pm on weekdays, alongside pet sitting and cat care visits before and after these hours. My schedule varies daily as I plan walks in small, well-matched groups to suit each dog. Dogs in my care should be comfortable being left for up to 4–5 hours, although I often bring pet sitting dogs along with me so they can enjoy walks and social time. A walk is always included. I live with my boyfriend and our dog, and I have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and ages. This is my full-time job, and I plan my days around the dogs in my care. I currently offer pet care in owners’ homes, as I have recently moved and am in the process of obtaining my home boarding licence. In your home, I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and settled. I provide daily updates with photos via social media and text, so you always know how your pet is doing. I take pride in being clean, respectful, and leaving your home exactly as I found it, if not better. For walks, I use my own secure leads and provide an additional tag with my details for extra safety. I always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing, security, and comfort while in my care.

Chloe is fantastic with my whippet Winnie! She can be a little unsure of new people but Chloe was patient and gained Winnie’s trust over a few short visits before spending the day with her which I really appreciated! Received lots of updates/pictures throughout the day which was lovely! Would strongly recommend:)

At short notice, Ryan stepped in to look after The Boys in our holiday lodge while we attended our daughter’s wedding. As if the day wasn’t stressful enough, we had also been let down by our usual sitter. Our Boys are big, loud, and need a confident person who truly understands dogs, otherwise Bruce will have a great time trying to make you jump! Ryan was absolutely fantastic with them. We received regular updates and photos, and he even played their favourite “go find” games. He managed to get them out for a walk too, no small feat as they can pull like a train when they spot something they really want. Ryan gave us total peace of mind, and we could relax knowing they were in brilliant hands. I would highly recommend him for all your dog-sitting needs.

Amy looked after Koda for the day whilst we were out. She arrived when she said she would and Koda took to her straight away, he enjoyed lots of fussing. They went on a walk and she shared pictures of their time together. Would love for Amy to look after Koda again and would recommend her. Thanks very much!
