Ralph had a great time with Olivia. He came back very happy and seemed to socialise better with other dogs afterwards, which may be also be down to Olivia’s lovely puppy. I could see that Olivia had taken care of Ralph and that she had tried to keep him in a routine similar to ours. As requested, Olivia provided us with just enough updates so that we could see that he was having a good time. I would not hesitate to use Olivia’s services again and would be happy to recommend her to others.

About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, horses & chickens and have extensive experience looking after other people’s pets. I have always had big rescue dogs but I am a lover of all dogs. I love to be out on big walks if the dog is up to it, but I am also happy to chill at home and give plenty of cuddles. I work from home so can fit pet care into my daily routine. On a weekend I am usually out walking so happy to take any dogs with me. I will care for the pet in a way that myself & the owner have agreed is suitable. I always have the animals best interest at heart.

About: With a degree in Equine Business and Events Management, animals have always been at the heart of my life. I’ve grown up surrounded by horses and dogs, and my passion for their care and wellbeing has only grown over the years. I’ve successfully bred my KC-registered dog, Lula, and continue to enjoy daily countryside walks with my own dogs. My hands-on experience and genuine love for animals ensure your dogs will be treated like family in a safe, caring, and active environment. Pet care is a central part of my daily life and truly part of who I am. This is my primary job, so caring for animals isn’t something I fit around other work, it is the work I love and prioritise every day. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply giving them comfort and company, I always make time for the animals in my care. Their wellbeing comes first, and I structure my routine entirely around their needs. It’s more than just a job—it’s a lifestyle I’m passionate about. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment. I have a fully fenced garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor play, including plenty of fun with my two friendly dogs. Indoors, they have a calm, home-from-home setting where they can relax. I’m happy to crate train or use crates if needed, to support their routine or provide a safe space. Whether it's for walking or boarding, I always tailor the care to each pet’s individual needs to make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and part of the family.

Wonderful drop-in service from Jackie and Michael. We were kept updated at all times, and Winston was very comfortable and relaxed around them despite only having briefly met before the sit. Winston also has medication twice daily on a strict schedule which Jackie and Michael adhered to perfectly. They were also very respectful of our property. We would definitely recommend Jackie and Michael, and will certainly be booking them for future sits. Thanks again! :)

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. I have them on the lead unless it is safe for them to be off and you give me prior permission. I ensure they have access to water at all times. I do not leave them alone at any time to ensure they are safe and are well taken care of.

About: I recently held a part time job working in a local kennel and cattery. In addition, prior to moving to England, I worked in a cattery in Dundee. This experience has allowed me to gain confidence working with smaller animals and understanding the care they require when they are away from their owners. In both placements, I had similar roles such as cleaning out the kennels, feeding the pets taking into account their dietary requirements and administering medication and leading conversations with owners to make sure the pets needs were met while they stayed with us. I developed an understanding of how stressful this environment can be for a pet separated from their owner and how this can be managed. This experience has helped me develop relationships with animals and their owners and gain their trust, an area of great importance when looking after animals. I spent three months volunteering six-hours per week at Parkhill Vets, Wetherby observing and participating in consultations and assisting peri and post-operatively. This experience provided an opportunity to develop communication, leadership, teamwork skills and understand the difficulties faced by practitioners and owners. confronted with emotional dilemmas such as euthanasia. I attended consultations on vaccinations, insurance and routine check-ups with opportunities to lead these consults under supervision, an experience I thrived in and grew in confidence. This opportunity was unfortunately shortened by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. I have experience working at the local kennels and cattery. I lead conversations with the clients to ensure the needs of the animals are met. Prior to this, I spent two years working at the Brae Riding School for the Disabled.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and currently care for 5 of my own, so I understand how important it is for cats to feel safe, comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats of different ages, personalities and needs, from playful kittens to older cats who need extra patience and attention. I’ve provided drop-in visits for family, friends and clients for many years, including feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime, cuddles and keeping cats company while maintaining their usual routine. I’m very patient, caring and passionate about animals, and I always make sure each cat feels relaxed and well looked after. I understand that every cat is different, so I take the time to build trust and make them feel comfortable at their own pace. I’m reliable, attentive and happy to send updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away. About: I am 22 years old, from Boston Spa, Wetherby. Im active and love the outdoors where I spend my free time horse-riding. I recently graduated as an Equine Sports Science graduate, the study of horse biology and exercise physiology, which also covers cats and dogs, due to similarities. I’ve gained better knowledge of animal health/welfare, understanding of behaviour and first aid, all of which can be transferred to pet sitting. I’ve had the pleasure of having pets my entire life from family dogs, cats and horses, therefore, have a good understanding on how they work. I have previous experience in pet sitting as for the past few years I have dog sat as a part time job, gaining knowledge on caring for other dogs/cats on a deeper level, living with them in their own home whilst learning how pet sitting works (I can provide multiple references, if requested). In 2021, I travelled to Aruba for 3 months for work experience with animals. I shadowed at the local vets and worked at a sanctuary. After this I worked at an equine retraining centre in Australia for 4 months and lived with a family, caring for their 6 dachshunds and one great Dane! I understand every animal is unique, which is why I approach each pet with a tailored, gentle and professional mindset. With a strong background in animal care and genuine love for them, I create a stress-free environment where pets feel happy in their home. I am currently at University, however have my car so am available whenever needed ! I have my entire summer (may-sept) free too along with yearly holidays such as easter etc. I have a fenced off garden and live in the countryside, therefore there’s plenty of good walking routes. I have a cockerdore at home give them company. I also own a cat, so only cat friendly dogs please.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give to every pet — I treat them like they’re my own. I have over 11years of experience caring for animals, including puppies and senior dogs . I’m comfortable with giving older pets the gentle care and extra time they need. With puppies, I’m patient, consistent, and experienced in basic training, housebreaking, and helping them feel secure while their owners are away. Most importantly, I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine — so they feel safe, loved, and relaxed in my care. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. Currently have left the corporate wheel to spend 24hrs in a day doing something I actually love which is caring for doggies . I am available all days of the week . I care for pets like they’re part of the family, whether in my home or theirs. At my place, I have a massive fenced backyard, perfect for safe play, running around, and getting plenty of fresh air. I also have a 1 year and 4-month-old Cockapoo who’s fully house-trained, very friendly, and loves the company of other animals — so your pet will have a happy playmate! Inside, pets have full access to the home, comfy spots to relax, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I keep to their usual routines, whether that’s feeding, walks, or quiet time, and make sure they feel safe and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and routines. I make sure your pet feels comfortable in their own environment, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi, I'm Emily, a mum of two who has recently found herself with a little more time on her hands while taking a break from ICU nursing after 12 rewarding years in the profession. Because of my long working hours, we've never been in a position to have a dog of our own, but our family is absolutely dog-mad! I love any opportunity to care for dogs, whether that's pet-sitting for friends or taking their dogs out for walks. Having grown up in a home full of pets, including both dogs and cats, I've always been surrounded by animals and understand the love, care, and attention they need. I would love to combine my passion for animals with my enjoyment of the outdoors by helping to care for your furry friends. Whether it's walks, companionship, or pet sitting, I will treat your pets with the same care and affection as if they were my own. Following some recent family bereavements, I've taken the opportunity to reassess my priorities and spend more time doing things that bring me joy and fit around family life. As a result, I now have excellent availability, particularly during school hours. I am a reliable and trustworthy person with a strong background in caring for others. I hold a current DBS check and have spent my entire adult life working in healthcare, where responsibility, compassion, and attention to detail are essential. Caring for others comes naturally to me, and I will provide your pet with the same level of care, kindness, and dedication.

About: Hi! I am a recent university graduate who is now living at home. My job allows me to work entirely from home so I’m always on hand to take care of your pet! I’ve owned and cared for dogs and various other pets (cats, rabbits, chickens etc) since I can remember and I would care for yours as if they were my own. I live in a detached house with a sizeable, fenced garden in a secluded area on the edge of Tadcaster so there’s easy access to great walking areas nearby. Please don’t hesitate to request any more information or ask any questions, if you have them! I am currently working full time but entirely from home so I’ll always be around! And if I’m not for a couple hours (eg I have rugby training every Tuesday and Thursday 7-9pm) then my parents will be. I have a completely fenced off, large garden area for your pet to run around and explore. We don’t allow dogs upstairs in our house but there is a room where they can get up on the sofas (we have covers), however if this is something you don’t allow in your home then we will, of course, follow suit.

About: I have had a dog practically all my life since I was 11. I have recently raised 2 weimaraners (1 male & 1 female) alongside my family as they were growing up, over a period of 18 years. I am retired so this leaves me with plenty of free time to spend with animals during my day. I love to take them out for walks at any time, week or weekend. I have a very large garden as well as a lot of indoor space so any animals coming to stay have lots of room to roam around regardless of the weather. It's also a fenced and gated property so they can't access the road. There are lots of surrounding fields where I live for long walks. I do not have young children around and no potentially harmful plants so the animals will be safe.

Thanks so much for having Ella this week. We were really happy to leave her with Will because she was well looked after and taken for more than one walk a day. She seemed really happy every morning and rushed up to the house with a waggy tail. Will was also good with communication and sent updates to let us know how she was getting on. Thanks again!

About: I’m a retired professional with plenty of time, patience, and energy to give your pup the care and attention they deserve. As someone who enjoys keeping active, I love getting outdoors for walks and exploring local parks and countryside trails. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your dog enjoys long adventures, gentle strolls, playtime, or simply some company and reassurance, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I’m reliable, flexible, and will treat your dog as if they were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! Pet care fits very well into my daily routine. I’m retired, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to dedicate to caring for pets without having to fit them around a busy work schedule. I enjoy being active and getting outdoors, so dog walks are something I genuinely look forward to. I’m also happy to provide company, feeding, playtime, and check-ins for cats and other pets. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can be reliable and consistent, helping pets maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. I always aim to keep pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I’ll ensure they have fresh water, meals at the correct times, plenty of attention, exercise, and any playtime or quiet time they enjoy. I’ll also keep their living areas clean and tidy and provide regular updates with photos and messages. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and welcoming environment in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, where they can relax and feel at home. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while respecting any specific instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines, or behaviour. Every pet is different, so I take the time to understand their individual personality, needs, and preferences to ensure they feel secure, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have my own dog walking business. I've lived in Wetherby all my life and im proud to offer a trusted, local dog walking and pet care service loved by many in our community. My journey into dog walking began with my own rescue, Duke, who came to me as a reactive boy with a big personality. He taught me patience, confidence, and the incredible importance of understanding what dogs truly need, lessons that shaped how i care for every animal i meet. I'm IMDT accredited in canine body language, i've attended their puppy course and i continue to expand my qualifications. I'm canine first aid trained, and fully insured, with a wealth of knowledge across breeds and temperaments. Before starting my business, i had hands on experience working with all kind of animals from calves and lambs to collies on the farm, giving me a well rounded understanding of animal behaviour and care. Whether i'm walking your dog, visiting your puppy, or checking in on your cat, i treat every pet as if they were my own, with kindness, respect and a big dose of enthusiasm. I'm proud to be known locally as "Local, Loved, and Trusted" I work full time as a dog walker between 8am–3pm on weekdays, alongside pet sitting and cat care visits before and after these hours. My schedule varies daily as I plan walks in small, well-matched groups to suit each dog. Dogs in my care should be comfortable being left for up to 4–5 hours, although I often bring pet sitting dogs along with me so they can enjoy walks and social time. A walk is always included. I live with my boyfriend and our dog, and I have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and ages. This is my full-time job, and I plan my days around the dogs in my care. I currently offer pet care in owners’ homes, as I have recently moved and am in the process of obtaining my home boarding licence. In your home, I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and settled. I provide daily updates with photos via social media and text, so you always know how your pet is doing. I take pride in being clean, respectful, and leaving your home exactly as I found it, if not better. For walks, I use my own secure leads and provide an additional tag with my details for extra safety. I always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing, security, and comfort while in my care.

About: Hi, thanks for stopping by ♡ I was lucky enough to have a GSD for 15 years and I now have a resident 18 month old nutter GSD. I honestly can’t imagine life without furry cuddles, wagging tails and throwing balls. Luna is friendly and loves to play with her furry friends. She is sweet natured and loves her teddies and cuddles. She has lots of friends but is reactive on walks, especially to dogs running up to her so I always have chicken or cheese in my pocket. I am lucky enough to be a 5 minute walk to beautiful countryside and a river, which provides some fantastic routes for four legged friends. Luna is in the river daily she loves the water. I treat all of our furry visitors as if they were my own. I provide a home from home so that you can be reassured your dog is being well cared for and they can relax and enjoy their stay. I work shifts so understand that life isn’t 9-5, on my days off when marked as available I can be fully flexible to your dogs needs, whether that is a short stroll or a much longer walk to burn of that bound up energy. I can cater to all schedules for walking and feeding and am happy to board pets in my home. I can stay in your home if this suits your pets needs better but I would need to bring Luna with me. I have an enclosed garden which we spend a fair bit of time in as Luna loves being outside. If you have any particular routines or rules you would like us to follow, then these will be respected. I am a shift worker and self employed so my days off are days off and I am home all day to look after your furry friend. I am fully DBS checked, i have great walks around me and a medium sized garden which is fenced. I am happy to take my guideance from what you and your furry friend need.

I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. Amanda and her family has looked after our young bouncy boy several times already but this was the first time that was more than a few nights whilst we went abroad, so we were naturally nervous. No need! Eveything went really well. Our precious lad was well looked after, even though he developed a sensitive tummy! He LOVES the family and his stays there. We will definitely use again. ❤️🐶❤️

Our usual dog sitter moved recently and we were pretty hard-pressed looking for someone close by. We then came across Constancia and her son Ivan. I am so happy that we chose them. Bella has been looked after and pampered. I couldn't have asked for anything more. She is happy and content. Constancia kept us up to date with pictures and video's of her time. I would highly recommend them and use them again. Thank you.

Hollie was such a lovely sitter and Mochi Moo had a great time with their cute doggo. I got regular updates of how Mochi was doing and some pictures as well. Mochi settled in so quickly and enjoyed his time there, would highly recommend and will boom again! :D

We would highly recommend Charlotte if you’re looking for a sitter, she was absolutely great from organising a meet and greet and providing regular updates while we were away. Olive had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave when we came to pick her up!

Kira and Henry took fantastic care of Bertie on his stop over. They communicated regularly and kept us reassured that all was well. Bertie loved being with them. Will definitely use again. 👍👍👍

Our dog can be a little nervous with new people, but Deirdre settled her quickly and send us updates throughout the day. It was great to know that Bella was having a great day, and she was completely relaxed when she got home. Friendly, great communication, and everything we could have wanted. We will have no hesitation in using Deirdre when we need some more daycare for Bella.

We were delighted that Ewan and Katy were able to look after Charlie again when we needed to go away in May. We feel they have a special bond with him, he settles quickly and they provide highlights and photos. They are caring, kind and we feel at ease knowing that Charlie is being cared for so well. We have already booked for other weekends and will look to book many times in the future and would highly recommend them caring for your furry friends. Thank you once again Ewan and Katy 🌈

Ryan and his partner kindly took care of Bruce for us for the first time, and safe to say he had a great time with them! We got pictures and updates as needed and can’t thank them enough for taking care of him. Will absolutely be using them again 😁

Brilliant. My senior rescue was at home with Thomas almost immediately and from the photos he was absolutely chilled and enjoyed himself the whole weekend. Thomas kept me updated, went out of his way to make sure he drank during the heatwave and dropped him off to save me a pet cab. Highly recommended dog sitter and an excellent bloke all round :) See you again!!

We honestly cannot say enough good things about Satinder and her wonderful family. Satinder cared for our beloved family dog, Willow, for 11 days, and loved and cared for her as if she was her own. Willow had the best holiday at Satinder’s home, gained 2 new baby sisters and a new boyfriend (Satinders hubby)! She was happy and contented, had lots of adventures, exciting walks and cuddles. Satinder sent daily pics and messages, and we were so reassured by her communication. Honestly, we cannot believe how lucky we were to find such a beautiful family to look after our little girl 😊 Thank you doesn’t cover it! If you get chance to book with Satinder, your family pet will have the very best time there. Cannot recommend highly enough! ❤️❤️❤️

Maddie was super patient with our 3 month old puppy, Haribo. This was a booking made on extremely short notice due to a last minute cancellation by another sitter, and so we were extremely lucky that Maddie agreed to take him in for 2 nights. Moreover, she took the time to meet him before the booking and immediately put my and my husband's minds at ease. Haribo was definitely well-taken care of. She was very keen on sticking to his routines, was very caring and affectionate towards him. She took him to the dog park, watched Bluey with him, snuggled with him on the sofa, and took him out regularly. He had accidents but Maddie was so understanding about everything. Haribo def had the time of his life and is a happy pup 😍 we have requested another booking with her because she's amazing!

Luke was great, he was enthusiastic and friendly and clearly gave them both lots of fuss and attention which they love. He was happy to stick with their usual routines and their little quirks were no problem which was very reassuring as an overprotective dog owner :)

Danielle had our sprocker Murphy over night for the first time this week and he seemed to settle really well. We had photos and messages updating us on how Murphy was getting on. I’d use Danielle for future overnight stays and dog walking. Thank you Danielle
