“We booked Rach last minute due to work schedules needing us in the offices. Cannot thank Rach enough for looking after our dog, our puppy was tired after lots of play - would 100% book Rach again without a doubt!!”

About: I've grown up with spaniels, so I'm no stranger to active, affectionate dogs who thrive on regular exercise and stimulation. I now have my own 2-year-old cocker spaniel, Miko. I don't plan on having children, so she gets all the love, care, and attention I’d give to a child. That means being firm but fair, going on long daily walks (often two or three times!), exploring new places, and making time for plenty of play. I’ve had Miko since she was an 8-week-old puppy, and have taken care to raise her with structure and affection. She was crate trained early on and completed doggy training, passing her first assessment with flying colours. If your dog has a set routine or follows specific training methods, I’m more than happy to follow and reinforce those practices to ensure consistency and comfort for them. I currently work in an office with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be adaptable to your pet’s needs. I’m available for weekend boarding, and with a little notice, I can work from home to accommodate longer weekend stays or extended bookings. My typical working hours are 8am to 4pm, but I’m happy to adjust (e.g., 7–3 or 9–5) to fit in morning or evening walks as needed. Although I don’t have a private garden, I live on a quiet street with a secure, gated central garden that I use daily, it's a safe, enclosed space where dogs can run, sniff, and enjoy some off-lead time. My home is calm, relaxed, and dog-friendly, with dogs welcome on the furniture and treated like part of the family. I have my own 2-year-old cocker spaniel, Miko, who is super friendly and loves the company of other dogs. She can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting new friends but quickly settles, and I’d love for her to have a playmate during stays. Miko also comes to the office with me regularly and is very used to being around other dogs, so social guests will feel right at home.
“John did a wonderful job looking our two border terriers, including one grumpy senior. He kept us informed about their well being with regular pictures and this made our trip more relaxing as we weren’t worrying about the dogs. We came home to a tidy house and happy dogs. I think they had a wonderful time with John and were actually a little disappointed we were home 🤣. I would use John again without hesitation.”

About: Growing up I always wanted a dog but it wasn’t on the cards, family and friends had dogs I’d walk and take care of. 4 years ago I got Albert my French Bulldog, he’s the cheekiest chap ever but has so much love for people and other dogs. My stepdad own dogs and private kennels, which I help with taking care of. I’ve helped birth puppies, train dogs of all ages. I decided to take my passion to another level. I am a student trainer with The Dog Training College. I am qualified in dog first aid. I own my own online store whilst studying to become a dog trainer. I’m home all day unless I’m helping my stepdad with his dogs or boarders. No dog would be left for lengthy periods of time. Dogs safety and well being is at the forefront of everything. I have 2 dogs who live at home, Albert (intact male French bulldog) and Stanley (intact male King Charles Cavalier). Both my dog love playing and interacting with other dogs. Due to my boys being intact I won’t be offering boarding at my home for Females on heat. Meet and greets with my boys are available in a neutral space where yourselves and your pooch can meet myself and my boys.
