From the first visit, our Cat loved Nova. We knew he would be in good hands, and Nova kept us updated with pictures and stories of each visit. Nova was kind, proffessional, and we would highly recommend.

Thank you Chloe for looking after Benny so well. I was able to have peace of mind while I was away and on my return he seemed perfectly happy and content, like we’d never been away x

Frances took great care of both cats, and they're clearly happy and comfortable with her looking after them. Regular updates put us at ease so we could really enjoy our time away without stress.

About: I have owned (big) dogs all my life and have had a lot of experience around different breeds ranging from lahasa apso’s to Japanese akitas. Your dogs will be looked after by myself (Alex) and my partner Luke so they get double the love and attention. Myself and Luke are usually free from late Friday to Monday nights giving enough time for a long weekend away. We have the accessibility to take them on day trips for long walks. There may be cases where we can have longer boarding sittings throughout the year. We are free on evenings if you need your dog walking or for drop in visits. We have a good sized garden that’s completely fenced giving enough room for freedom and a large field at the back of our house. Dogs can be crated if needed.

About: Hello! My name is Ivan. I am an experienced dog walker and dog trainer based in Wakefield. I enjoy working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities, from young puppies to energetic adult dogs. During walks I focus on calm and structured behaviour so dogs can feel relaxed, balanced and comfortable. Many dogs benefit from clear guidance during walks, which helps improve leash manners, focus and overall behaviour. I have experience working with dogs that pull on the leash, become overexcited outside or have difficulty focusing during walks. My goal is to make walks safe, calm and enjoyable for the dog while also encouraging better behaviour and engagement with the handler. I always treat every dog with patience, respect and attention to their individual needs. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my priority. I also offer dog training sessions for owners who would like to improve behaviour such as leash pulling, basic obedience, recall or overexcited behaviour during walks. If you are looking for someone who not only walks dogs but also understands dog behaviour and training principles, I would be happy to help. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your dog.🐾 https://www.rover.com/sit/ivansa65151 Hi there!!!! I currently work full time Monday to Friday (7:30 am–4:00 pm). That means I’m available for walks early in the morning (before 6:40 am) and in the evenings (after 4:30 pm). If you need boarding or longer visits, just let me know at least 5 days in advance — I can usually take a day off to make it work. I’m also available most weekends and happy to be flexible when possible. Please share your schedule and your pet’s routine — I’ll always do my best to make both you and your furry (or not-so-furry)) friends happy and comfortable! 🐾💛 I have a fenced garden outside my house and friendly dog to keep your fur baby company I can easily crate yourr dog if needed...

About: I have hands-on pet care experience through my own 11-year-old cavy dog, who happily lives by the motto snore, eat, repeat. Caring for an older dog has taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of routine, comfort, and enjoying the simple things. I genuinely love dogs and being active, and dog walking feels like the perfect fit — getting out, exploring, and giving dogs the exercise, stimulation, and care they deserve while doing something I truly enjoy. How does this fit into my schedule? Alongside dog walking, I work part-time as a barista and I’m currently studying at university for my teaching degree. My barista shifts change weekly, but rotas are provided two weeks in advance, allowing me to plan ahead and communicate availability clearly. Outside of work hours, I’m generally free from Wednesday to Sunday, depending on shifts, and I’m always happy to be flexible where possible. I’m organised, reliable, and proactive about scheduling to make sure every walk is consistent and well-planned. My dog has been trained from a young age and turned out amazingly, so I understand the time, patience, and consistency that goes into good training. Because of this, I know how important it is to keep dogs happy while also keeping them calm, safe, and under control on walks. I love helping dogs get out, explore, and enjoy themselves, all while making sure they’re well-handled and comfortable every step of the way.

About: I have taken care of cats and elderly dogs who require medication but also have a deep passion for all animals no matter how big or small. I myself own a cat, rabbits, reptiles, invertebrates and marine and fresh water fish tanks so I completely understand the wonderful quirks of these animals and how hard it is to find someone you can trust with knowledge for your pets when you go away. I want to give people an extra option when they’re going on holiday and peace of mind their animals are safe with someone who understand bio active tanks, RO water, GI Stasis etc Please note - days and time will depend on my 2 office days at work. When working from home I am also available for dog walks on my lunch hour I work 5 days a week with a minimum of 2 days in office. My office hours are 8am-4pm so on those days I am available 6-7:30 and after work 4:30pm onwards I am happy to pop in at 6am or after work hours when in office. On my home days, I can do before 8am, lunch time and after 4:30pm However you want or need me to care for your animals is exactly how I will do it. I understand some pets have a rigid routine whereas some can just go with the flow. I personally prefer a day by day list of what you would like doing as this is what I provide for people caring for my animals.

About: Hi there! Myself (Polly) and my husband (Liam) have had our little dude Fozzie since being a pup (a Cavapoochon who is nearly 5 now), and he gets all the love, attention and cuddles in the world! We know first hand how important it is to know your little ones are safe and well looked after, and will send you all the pictures and pupdates you’d like to know they are happy and loved whilst you’re away or at work! 📸 Liam and I both work from home, so we are able to accommodate any weekdays and weekends, with one of us always at home with your little one. We have a fully fenced back garden, with an open plan downstairs featuring patio doors onto this so your pup is free to roam as much as they want. We also only take one Rover request at any time (unless the pups are from the same household) so your furry friend will always have all our full love and attention.

We arranged for Carol to look after our 12 year old cat whilst we was out of the country. We felt that our cat would be more comfortable at home so we arranged for Carol to pop in twice a day for general care and to give Bingo some TLC. We had a couple of meetings beforehand and I was was instantly blown away by Carols professionalism, empathy and rapport with Bingo. While we were away Carol provided frequent detailed updates about Bingo with plenty of pictures and information. She went above and beyond and even bought him a toy! She had an instant connection with Bingo, which is surprising as he can be very aloof and standoffish with humans. We were completely at ease whilst on holiday knowing that our pet was being looked after by such a fantastic sitter. We would not hesitate to use Carol again and would highly recommend her to anyone who is after a sitter.

About: I have a lot of experience with dogs, I have owned many different breeds from chihuahuas to dogue de Bordeaux so I am experienced in small right up to XL breeds. I am also experienced in dogs that suffer with anxiety, dogs that aren’t friendly towards other dogs, and dogs that are on medication. Hello! I am a stay at home mum with a love for dogs, after loosing my dog in January I miss the company and dog walks, however don’t feel ready to get another dog of my own yet as it feels so soon after Roxy passing. Therefore I think this would be the perfect solution for me! I’m home most of the day with just a 30 minute school run twice a day to nip out to, other than that my attention can be all on your fur babies! I have an enclosed garden, I have a large downstairs living space for crates if needed, which also includes an integral garage which is a lot cooler for summer where my dog used to love spending time watching me in the kitchen from her ‘cool spot’ in the garage! I allow dogs on my furniture and they will have a full run of the house. If you would rather your dog stayed downstairs I also have a spare baby gate I can put up if needs be. I also live a 5 minute walk away from a local colliery which dogs love! There are busy routes for dogs that love to interact with other dogs, or quieter routes for the dogs that aren’t dog friendly or are a bit shy.

About: My sister and I would always feed, brush, make sure our cat was happy, she lived to 16! Last summer I went to camp America and looked after the horses and farm animals, doing everything from mucking out to feeding to walking them round the arena. My grandma always had a dog when I was growing up which I loved seeing, taking on walks and playing with:) We aren’t allowed any animals now as we live in a rented property and I miss it so much! I am a student at Sheffield Hallam university, I have classes 3 days a week. I also do some extra curricular things like dance and climbing but they are quite flexible:) Making sure they have enough water, fed when there meal times are, taken on regular walks, toilet breaks, given attention and love🧡 for dog sitting- making sure to follow instructions of the owner as all homes will be different with the dog having different needs.

About: I have previously been a trusty Rover member with reviews attached. I have just moved back from New Zealand with my partner. About: I have owned numerous dogs over the years and currently have 2 Labradors. I have taken care of my friends and families dogs when they go on holiday or if they are out for the day and need me to walk or feed their dogs I currently work part time and the time I’m not at work I spend at home or out and about with my 2 Labradors so your dog would just fit in with our daily adventures and routine I have a secure high fenced back garden which is accessed via French doors so your dog can come in and out as they wish. We have lovely off road walks around our area so plenty of adventuring for us to do. My dogs have the full run of my downstairs and are never left alone for longer than a couple of hours should I need to nip out.

About: I have plenty of experience with different animals grooming, meditation dispensing, general day to day walking and entertaining playing around with pets. I would be happy to continue any basic training you have started or would like me to start. I can do some extra activities while looking after your pet, like washing up mess made by your pet, put rubbish bins out and bring back in. Bring letters in if you are way on holidays etc. I have looked after pets both energetic who love walks and playing around and also pets that just love a cuddle and to chill. I work in the healthcare sector so I do have an online DBS if you would like any background checks information. I am flexible as I work in the community so have plenty of spare time to both be at home and also to do house calls. I have a large house and garden which is fenced and safe also I live in a semi rural area so plenty of walks to go on. I am a flexible worker with lots of spare time and would love the opportunity to look after your pets. I am available mostly at any time as my work is flexible. I would look after them as my own and follow any instructions given from owner of the pet I am looking after. I have a secure and fenced property and big house for the animal to explore if they come to my house.

About: We currently have our beautiful girl Lucy and have taken care of dogs for as long as we can remember. There have always been a dogs in our lives growing up. We are often relied on to walk, feed and look after pets of neighbours, friends and family members. We are responsible, hardworking and active people. So if a pet was to stay with us it would be given lots of walks, plenty of love and would be one of the family. We also have experience in caring for puppies so we are more than happy to cater to their needs. If your pet isn’t pet friendly Lucy is able to stay with my parents temporarily so isn’t an issue. I currently work 6 on 4 off so on my days off I would have plenty of time to care for and walk dogs. In addition to that my partner also works from home which can be flexible depending on the animals needs so we can work around you. I have a fenced back yard and a big field next to our house. We also have a baby gate if the pet needed to be restricted to downstairs area only. I have a car which would allow us to take the pet on a walk further away from home and there is the option of pet collection if required and not too far.
