Pet lovers all understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Well look no further than Michelle and Graham who looked after Bailey our one and half Yr Cavapoo. He had a great time loving their warm and friendly atmosphere and loved his regular walks. They kept us updated via the Rover app and we couldn't have found a more perfect couple to look after Bailey. Thank you for everything and two woofs from Bailey xx

About: Experienced, Loving Family Dog Sitters 🐾 Hello! We're a dog-loving family with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. Between us, my partner and I have owned and looked after dogs for most of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. After regularly dog sitting for friends and family, we've decided to open our home to more dogs and their owners. We have two young children, aged 4 and 5, who absolutely adore dogs and have grown up around them. Because of this, the safety and comfort of both our children and any visiting dogs is extremely important to us. We only accept dogs that are comfortable, gentle, and trustworthy around young children, ensuring a safe and happy environment for everyone. One of the biggest benefits we can offer is that both of us work from home full-time. This means your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having people around, we'll tailor our care to suit their individual personality and needs. We have a small front garden available for quick toilet breaks, and we're also just minutes away from large open fields, parks, and beautiful nature walks. Regular walks and exercise will be provided according to your dog's age, energy levels, and routine. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, so we'll treat them as if they were our own—providing a safe, loving, and caring home while you're away. We look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! 🐶 Lots of love, attention, walks, and cuddles guaranteed. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. Both my partner and I work from home full-time, so we're able to provide constant supervision, regular toilet breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. We regularly care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and we enjoy incorporating walks into our daily schedule. We live just minutes from large fields and nature walks, allowing us to provide exercise tailored to each dog's needs. As a family of dog lovers, spending time with and caring for dogs is something we genuinely enjoy, so any dogs staying with us become part of our everyday family life while they're in our care. We care for every dog as if they were our own and always aim to keep them as comfortable and settled as possible by following their usual routine. Before any stay, we'll discuss your dog's feeding schedule, exercise requirements, sleeping arrangements, medications, and any special needs to ensure continuity of care. In our home, dogs will have plenty of companionship throughout the day as both of us work from home full-time. They'll receive regular toilet breaks, walks tailored to their energy levels and needs, playtime, affection, and a safe, family environment. We have a small yard for quick toilet breaks and are just minutes away from large fields and nature walks for longer exercise sessions. We only accept dogs that are comfortable around young children, as we have two children aged 4 and 5 who have grown up around dogs and love interacting with them. If caring for a pet in the owner's home, we would follow all instructions provided, maintaining the dog's normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication if required, and ensuring they receive plenty of attention and care while their owners are away. Throughout any booking, we are happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, so owners can see that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I had a pre meet with Julie which was good. I felt Buddy was in safe hands and a prefect setting throughout his stay (walled secure garden & near open fields and woods), and I received daily updates. Julie was keen to understand all Buddy's needs and to try and continue the same input, discipline and rules he has at home. Feedback was excellent and I had a good debrief session when I went to collect Buddy. I would definitely use Julie again and I would recommend her.

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own dog for many years and understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet. Alongside caring for my own dog, I’ve regularly looked after dogs for family and friends, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, and overnight care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and take the time to learn their individual routines, personalities, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel happy, secure, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with dogs, and I’m excited to provide a home-from-home experience for your furry family member. I work in a school, so I have all of the school holidays off, giving me plenty of time to care for your dog. During school holidays I’m available for boarding, daycare and walks, and at weekends throughout the year. I love being outdoors and enjoy long walks, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention and affection. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks and any medication they need. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention and playtime, while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind.

Second booking with Izabella and we were very impressed. Murphy clearly had a good time and he was very happy to be there. This one was overnight and Izabella made sure to send us lots of pictures of Murphy having a great ime and general updates which allowed us to relax, while we were away. Thanks Izabella. We'll definitely be coming to you first for any future dog-sitting needs.

This was the first time we have left our doggy Sweep with someone we don’t know. We were immediately reassured by Kasia who put us at ease and we felt confident that Sweep would be in safe in her hands. Kasia and her family truly treated Sweep like their own; having the run of the house, keeping his routine, walks and lots of cuddles and love and playing with their dog Nala. We received plenty of updates and photos where we could see the care he was getting and that he was happy- meaning we could relax knowing our boy was taken well care of. A huge thank you, we will absolutely use you again and we know Sweep would be very happy to return 😃

My Boston Terrier, Jerry, has only been seeing Ivans for a short while, and already he’s coming on leaps and bounds. He’s doing better on his lead, he’s doing better with his reactivity, and Ivans has been a huge support in helping me to learn how to help Jerry. It feels like he wants to set Jerry up for success, which is hugely positive. This time I had to travel last minute, and Ivans had Jerry at his home for me. I was worried, and he eased my worries. My surprise at seeing photos of Jerry happy around other dogs… walking next to other dogs… it was amazing. Usually he is… a challenge around other dogs, to say the least, but Ivans knows exactly how Jerry’s mind works and is able to work magic! I would highly, highly recommend, especially to people like myself whose dogs need some training support! Right now, Jerry is happily curled up calm and sleeping, which is a blessing in itself!

I got regular updates and I could see Jax was content & so settled. So much so, he was more than happy to stay when we went to pick him up 😅 We would highly recommend and will certainly be using Aimee again.. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Helen and Andy were absolutely amazing with our dog, Kobe! This was Kobe’s first time staying away from home, so we were a bit nervous— especially since he’s an energetic miniature cockapoo, but they made the entire experience really good and reassuring. From the start, it was clear they were both experienced with handling high-energy dogs. Kobe instantly took to them, which says a lot. They kept him active, engaged, and happy the whole time, and we could tell he was getting plenty of attention and care. We also really appreciated the regular updates—they gave us peace of mind knowing Kobe was doing great and having fun (especially playing with Bonnie!). We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Helen and Andy again! Thank you!

Nova came to look after our cats Betsy and Chase for 4 days. I was sent frequent updates and pictures of them both. It was really reassuring to see them and to know that they OK. Nova has been absolutely fantastic from the moment we booked and put our minds at ease from the start. We came home early hours of the morning and our home was spotless, the cats were not even bothered we came home - which really reassured me that they had been looked after so well. I cannot recommend Nova enough, they go above and beyond at all times. Truly the nicest person and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who will listen ☺️

Shannon is great, I couldn't recommend her more! She took care of my cat for two weeks, like he was her own pet. Can you expect more from a sitter? :) She is communicative, punctual, reliable, kind and trustworthy. Her every day "reports" from drop-in visits contained everything you would want to know about how your pet is doing - their feel, mood, condition, and so on. Also, she always includes a lot of pictures of our cat, which was the main highlight for us. She's always willing to do that extra mile if you are in need, like add an extra bowl of water or reset an automatic cat feeder that isn't always working flawlessly. Or top it up with cat food. Definitely, I will book her again because I know that my cat is in good hands!

Ivan was incredible from our very first meet and greet, he observed our pup while he walked with us to better understand his needs and walked him to get a feeling for how he behaves, he was available at shirt notice to have our dog for the full day. About: I've always had dogs in my life. I lost two elderly dogs last year and so badly miss having dogs . I dog sit for our friends dogs whenever possible, but would like to open our home to more. More cuddles, more walks, more mess and more craziness. If you have a dog who needs close attention and wants to feel secure, I can give that care. If your dog needs long walks, I would love that. Our two dogs became infirm when they were old. If you dog needs extra care as an elderly dog, I have the experience. I hold independent comprehensive dog-care insurance. I work part time from home. No routine as such, so I can fit around what your dog needs. Some days are quiet and other days include a long walk and play. We have a large, fenced, dog friendly garden which is completely secure. Your dog will have plenty of room, inside and out. Plus my bed to sleep on, if that is what they like.

My greyhound absolutely loved his daycare experience. He was a very happy boy when I picked him up. Excellent communications with Bryony throughout and I felt really comfortable leaving him in her care. Resident hound Rex is gorgeous and really helped my recently adopted rescue boy's confidence. Highly recommended.

About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family has a lovable 11-year-old Labrador whom I helped train from puppyhood — from basic commands to good leash manners. We also shared 18 wonderful years with a gentle British Shorthair cat, so I understand the unique needs of both dogs and cats at every life stage. Whether it’s energetic playtime, patient training, or quiet cuddles, I treat every pet like my own. Your furry family member will get the same love, attention, and care I’ve given my own for decades. Because I work from home, your pet gets my full attention all day. I can easily fit in frequent potty breaks, play sessions, and walks, and I’m always around for company and cuddles. My flexible schedule means I can stick closely to your pet’s routine — whether that’s early morning walks, midday training, or late-night check-ins. Having pets around while I work makes my day better, and I love giving them the same care, patience, and companionship I’ve given my own over the years Whether your pet is staying at my place or I’m visiting yours, they’ll get the same love, attention, and comfort they’re used to. In my home, I make sure there’s plenty of space to play, cozy spots for naps, and a safe, calm environment. I stick to your pet’s routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so they feel secure and happy. When I care for pets in their own home, I keep things consistent — from their favorite walk routes to the way they like their food prepared. My goal is to make every visit or stay feel like home, so your furry friend stays relaxed, loved, and well-cared for.

Jennifer was amazing! She took my dog out for a swim, which he absolutely loved, and spent lots of time playing with him. I really appreciated all the pictures and video she sent, they were wonderful to receive and showed how much fun he was having. I couldn't be happier with the care she provided especially since it was so last minute!

About: Having had dogs all my life, I have finally decided do something I really love on a full time basis. I've had over 40 years experience of looking after my own dogs along with those of family and friends. These have ranged from Patterdales and Staffies to Spaniels, Schnauzers, Collies and, currently, my beautiful, female, retriever cross. I am a volunteer with a local dog rescue and this involves doing home checks to assess the suitability of adopters and also doing home visits to assess dogs who, sadly, need to be brought into rescue. Despite having no formal canine related qualifications, my friends say my dogs are always well trained and theirs often go home doing new tricks because I love to play games with them. Coming from an education background and managing 30 kids in a classroom means I have lots of skills and an abundance of patience! I've raised many puppies, nursed them in their old age and am used to giving medication and any individual care that may be required. You are welcome to visit and look at where your dog will be staying. I would also suggest a short walk around the area to allow our dogs to have an introduction before then coming back for a cuppa to see how they get on in my home environment. I already have my own 6 year old female retriver cross who needs lots of exercise and time to play. Another dog would fit easily into our daily routine and with us both being fit and active, we're usually out walking at least twice a day. If you would prefer your dog to be walked individually this isn't a problem as I do not have to work around any set hours. I have a large, fenced garden and live in an area with lots of footpaths and walking routes. I live in a cul-de-sac away from the main road and there is a big green in front of my house which is great for those dogs who refuse to toilet in the garden! I have a large spare crate so you wouldn't need to bring a crate with you if your dog is crate trained.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years and have grown up with Newfoundlands, Labrador’s, Spaniels, Staffies and now have our own rescue called Rex. He absolutely loves other dogs / cats / chickens and thrives from animal company! I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and my partner Henry works from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Usually our day starts with a walk at around 8am - 9am. Regular toilet breaks throughout the day and another evening short walk if needed. We both love animals and dogs, they get lots of attention in our house. We have a high fenced garden at the back of our house and a locked gate so dogs are fully secure at all times. We live a 5 minute walk to thornes park. I live with my partner Henry and our dog Rex, who’s 1 years old and is a border collie cross. He loves other dogs, is very playful and he knows when to switch off and relax. He especially loves large breeds as he spends a lot of time with my parents Newfoundlands but recently made a strong bromance with a dachshund we were looking after for 2 weeks.

I booked Kim to walk my rescue dog Nay, Nay has had a really tough life with lots of nervousness around people and other dogs. I was really impressed that Kim not only suggested a meet & greet but also a trial walk with herself and myself to ensure all went well. I felt really at ease with Kim she knew how to get Nay to respond on our trial walk, Nay was completely focused on her the entire time and the usual chaos walk I’m used to was completely different. I was more than happy to then let Kim and Nay go off together and enjoy there walk. Nay came back exhausted and happy she even tried to follow Kim to the car to go home with her. I’ve never known her to take to someone so well and I now can be at ease knowing Nay is being walked while I’m at work by someone who is so easily to get along with. Very friendly young woman with lots of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. I had to change the time at short notice and Kim made me feel like it was no trouble at all. I would recommend her without a doubt.

Bethany was great. Understood what Snoopy needed, was respectful at all times and kept me up to date with his day. I will definitely ask her to look after him again

Where to start… Aimee is fantastic! Jax was immediately comfortable, roaming around and exploring their lovely home & garden, we knew he was going to be fine from the minute we walked in.

Thank you!

Our 3 month old puppy had so much fun with Adam and his family. They took care of her and loved her like she was their own and it was so comforting to receive the pictures and videos of our happy puppy. We’ve already booked again. Can’t rate them high enough, would definitely recommend. Thank you very much

Emily was absolutely brilliant. Very polite, respectful and an all around brilliant host for my little doggo. She takes into consideration your needs - I asked for regular photo updates and she didn't fail to do so whatsoever. I would definitely recommend Emily and without a shadow of a doubt will be booking with her again.

I am at home to keep treasured pet company all day and also live next to a large field with long grass ,trees and park with walks suited to your dogs liking. I couldn’t have asked for a better home to leave my nervous little rescue in. Artur clearly loves dogs and is very experienced. My dog is nervous, reactive and wants a lot of attention, all of which Artur managed really well. She had a lovely time and was treated like a beloved family pet. I won’t hesitate to leave her with Artur again. Thank you!
