Between us, my partner and I have owned and looked after dogs for most of our lives, and caring for them is something we genuinely love. After regularly dog sitting for friends and family, we've decided to open our home to more dogs and their owners. We have two young children, aged 4 and 5, who absolutely adore dogs and have grown up around them. Because of this, the safety and comfort of both our children and any visiting dogs is extremely important to us. We only accept dogs that are comfortable, gentle, and trustworthy around young children, ensuring a safe and happy environment for everyone. One of the biggest benefits we can offer is that both of us work from home full-time. This means your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having people around, we'll tailor our care to suit their individual personality and needs. We have a small front garden available for quick toilet breaks, and we're also just minutes away from large open fields, parks, and beautiful nature walks. Regular walks and exercise will be provided according to your dog's age, energy levels, and routine. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, so we'll treat them as if they were our own—providing a safe, loving, and caring home while you're away. Both my partner and I work from home full-time, so we're able to provide constant supervision, regular toilet breaks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. We regularly care for dogs belonging to friends and family, and we enjoy incorporating walks into our daily schedule. We live just minutes from large fields and nature walks, allowing us to provide exercise tailored to each dog's needs. As a family of dog lovers, spending time with and caring for dogs is something we genuinely enjoy, so any dogs staying with us become part of our everyday family life while they're in our care. We care for every dog as if they were our own and always aim to keep them as comfortable and settled as possible by following their usual routine. Before any stay, we'll discuss your dog's feeding schedule, exercise requirements, sleeping arrangements, medications, and any special needs to ensure continuity of care. In our home, dogs will have plenty of companionship throughout the day as both of us work from home full-time. They'll receive regular toilet breaks, walks tailored to their energy levels and needs, playtime, affection, and a safe, family environment. We have a small yard for quick toilet breaks and are just minutes away from large fields and nature walks for longer exercise sessions. We only accept dogs that are comfortable around young children, as we have two children aged 4 and 5 who have grown up around dogs and love interacting with them. If caring for a pet in the owner's home, we would follow all instructions provided, maintaining the dog's normal routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, administering medication if required, and ensuring they receive plenty of attention and care while their owners are away. Throughout any booking, we are happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, so owners can see that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I've always had dogs in my life. I lost two elderly dogs last year and so badly miss having dogs . I dog sit for our friends dogs whenever possible, but would like to open our home to more. More cuddles, more walks, more mess and more craziness. If you have a dog who needs close attention and wants to feel secure, I can give that care. If your dog needs long walks, I would love that. Our two dogs became infirm when they were old. If you dog needs extra care as an elderly dog, I have the experience. I hold independent comprehensive dog-care insurance. I work part time from home. No routine as such, so I can fit around what your dog needs. Some days are quiet and other days include a long walk and play. We have a large, fenced, dog friendly garden which is completely secure. Your dog will have plenty of room, inside and out. Plus my bed to sleep on, if that is what they like.

About: I have always had or lived with a dog since living at home with my parents through to having one which my children grew up with and have had three dogs since then up until March 2025. I love the outdoors and miss not having a doggy companion on my walks. I am very flexible with availability as I work from home on a part time basis . I am confident with dogs and happy to follow any ongoing training and routines that may be in place for your dog. I currently work from home on a part time basis with flexible hours Monday -Friday So can work pet care around my work to suit most needs . I have an enclosed fenced back garden for your dogs playing time and toileting needs I have a conservatory which looks onto the garden for your dogs bed / basket and resting time between play time and walks. Your dog would have access to all areas of the house apart from the bedrooms .

About: Having had dogs all my life, I have finally decided do something I really love on a full time basis and am now a licenced Home Boarder with WMDC - LN/.......48. I am proud to have been granted a four star rating which is the maximum rating for your first period of trading. I am fully insured and qualified in Pet First Aid and CPR. I've had over 40 years experience of looking after my own dogs along with those of family and friends. These have ranged from Patterdales and Staffies to Spaniels, Schnauzers, Collies and, currently, my beautiful, female, retriever cross. I am a volunteer with a local dog rescue and this involves doing home checks to assess the suitability of adopters and also doing home visits to assess dogs who, sadly, need to be brought into rescue. I've raised many puppies, nursed them in their old age and am used to giving medication and any individual care that may be required. You are welcome to visit and look at where your dog may be staying. A Meet & Greet session is compulsory before any bookings are confirmed. I already have my own 6 year old female retriver cross who needs lots of exercise and time to play. Another dog would fit easily into our daily routine and with us both being fit and active, we're usually out walking at least twice a day. If you would prefer your dog to be walked individually this isn't a problem as I do not have to work around any set hours. I have a large, fenced garden and live in an area with lots of footpaths and walking routes. I live in a cul-de-sac away from the main road and there is a big green in front of my house which is great for those dogs who refuse to toilet in the garden! I have a large spare crate so you wouldn't need to bring a crate with you if your dog is crate trained.

About: Hello, my names Kadie. A little about myself, I have worked in the healthcare profession for the past 8 years. I then got a dog of my own (after loving them all my life), and my passion turned into caring for dogs! So here I am now. At my house, I have my dog (Nala - Golden Retriever - 13 months) and my partner Will. Myself and my partner both adore dogs, and Nala loves having a dog friend around! Your dog/dogs are welcome to come to my loving, friendly, warm home day and/or night. I can promise you that your dog will be loved, and cared for in the same way my dog gets! That's if you and they are ok with lots of cuddles, tickles, treats, an afternoon dental stick, fun walks and a good tug of war game. If you have any specific rules/routines I am happy to honour these. We are members of the national trust. We visit Nostel Priory on a regular basis, which we would love to take your dog along too. We have some great walks local to our house too, which I am sure your dog will enjoy. On all stays, I will provide you with a diary at pick up - So you know exactly what your pooch has been upto! I am also able and happy to send you photo's via WhatsApp throughout the stay, so you can be re-assured they are having fun! I am available every day, at any time. My fellow dog owners who work shifts, you are welcome to drop your dog off at my house before your shift begins (even if it starts as early as 7am). Before any dog day care, or boarding - I really would like to meet your dog. This is so they get used to me, and you are familiar with me. This can he arranged within my home, or I can come to you.
