“Helena has boarded our 2 dogs on several occasions for a few days to 2 weeks. This time they went for day care only. The communication and care was as excellent as our boarding experience. The dogs love her and go crazy when they arrive at her house. I never have to worry that they won't be OK. Definitely recommend! 🥰”

“Lily was great at looking after our pup. She was communicative, took him on walks, made sure he got on with the other dog and gave him plenty of attention and rest. Thank you!”

“Jack did a fantastic job looking after our dog! He sent us regular photos of Casper, which was so reassuring; we knew he was in great hands. We’ll absolutely rebook in the future. Thanks so much! :0)”

“Rollo loved his stay with Janet, I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She was quick to respond, really welcoming and friendly. Rollo loved playing in her garden with Luna and he had two good walks too. We had one sleepy content doggy when we picked him up after his stay.”

“Amazing experience. Mochi had a wonderful time, and it was clear she formed a lovely bond with Tobias and his partner. She came home happy and content, and after a good sleep it was obvious she'd had a great day.”

“levina and tom are brilliant :) we left our dalmatian bailey with them this week and he had a wonderful day, he came back absolutely knackered - always a great sign! levina has a lovely garden for dogs to play with and as an owner of two germans shepherds, clearly just adores dogs in all shapes and form. thank you 😀”

“Sharon took fantastic care of our spotty friend when our regular dog sitter was away. She made sure we felt really comfortable with leaving Bailey, and was so attentive listening and honouring his usual routine. Bailey got on really well with her two friendly dogs and we couldn't have asked for more from her! If you want a lovely, caring person to look after your dog properly, then look no further than Sharon, she's the best!”

“Finnan had a great time once again with Kate and Dottie. It really is a huge weight off knowing that he’s in good hands and has a lovely friend to play with whilst we’re not around. Kate is excellent at keeping us informed with pictures and messages during his stay to let us know he’s doing well and having fun. Highly recommended”

About: In February 2023, I became a dog owner. I have taken full responsibility of looking after a dog and am very committed to giving him the best life. I would take this love for dogs when looking after your own and you can be rest assured we will be having safe fun and lots of caring cuddles. It is important to me that I am a nurse so therefore work shifts. I tend to have 3-4 days off a week to be able look after other furry friends. I currently won’t be looking after pets in my home as it isn’t my home it’s a family home, however I will be happy to house sit with your dog and ensure I respect your home. I will also be doing dog walking which on discussion before hand we can talk about your preferences with how I handle your dog e.g dog must be kept on a lead, walks should only be 30mins long due to injury etc and I will ALWAYS follow your rules! I happily do day care, I will have an enclosed garden to let your dog play around freely but be aware i have my own gorgeous pouch so they will have to share 🤭
“Thank you so much for having Arthur and Lennie. Both were so excited to see Emily again after we initially had the meet and greet so I was really happy to leave them with her. Emily sent pictures and updates throughout the day to let me know they were all having fun together 😊 I would recommend Emily to anyone who needed a trustworthy pet sitter!”

“Danielle was really friendly and helpful especially going out of her way to be flexible with the times. She did everything I asked from her and I could tell Willie had enjoyed his stay. Highly recommend”
About: I currently have Leah & Jake, my 2 Border Collies. We're always out and about up on Saddleworth Moor having walkies... There's no better feeling than being outdoors with dogs.. I currently don't work, so I'm home all day now. Home sitting is available on Friday & Saturday nights. Unfortunately, I can't board pets due to my own dogs/cats/snakes etc My pets want for nothing. They are loved and cared for as family members. My cats and dogs have full roam of my house and also sleep on my bed if they want to.
About: I’m the girl that waves to dogs I pass in the street, I’m dog mad. I’ve recently returned to the area after living abroad for 6+ years. Personal circumstances mean that I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, but in the meantime I have so much love to give! I’ve been working part time as a dog-walker and dog-sitter for the past three years on and off and I absolutely love it. I’ll strive to make your dog feel safe, happy and adored. Mark Twain once said “The more I learn about people, the more I love my dog” — let me love your dog!! I currently work from home but I have a very flexible routine. I’m available most days, I just ask that you give me a few days notice if you need my help over the weekends or holidays! I will gladly make house calls. I have clients who trust me with regular access and keys to their properties and I will respect your privacy in your home. I also have the possibility to look after your pet here in my own home. I live with my dad at the moment in a terraced house in Clifton. We don’t have much of a garden but there are plenty of good walks to be had!
“Kate was great looking after Hugo. She was great at giving updates and good long walks. Hugo came back very happy and exhausted. I would highly recommend Kate to look after your pet.”

About: We are a couple - Emmie (they/them) & Katie (she/her). We love animals of all kinds and would love to help support others to ensure their animals are cared for when it’s needed 🫶🏼 we have a warm and welcoming home where we live with our piggy, Trevor (guinea pig). We have rescued dogs before and fostered dogs over the years and given them the care and comfort they needed. All our siblings have dogs/pets and we are the first ones to be asked to look after them and we just love it! 🥰 Myself (Emmie) and my partner (Katie) both work part time so are flexible with days of work as well as days off and this includes availability on evenings and weekends Whether it’s in our home or their home, full care and attention will be taken to meet the needs of the animals and what the owners request
“Gemma has been amazing today! My 12 week puppy had a couple of accidents but that didn’t put Gemma off! She’s more than happy to see Henry next week. He’s had a fabulous walk and played with her dogs toys too! Thank you so much!”

Your dogs will be treated as our own when in our care I have a fenced garden and plenty of room for the dogs to have there own space if they wish too , all dogs will be fed as instructed by owners , happy to give any medication they may need and exercise as owns wishes

“Susan and Hans were both very friendly with both me and my dog Lola, who seemed to have a great day with them in their house. Communication was quick and easy, and they were relaxed about drop off/pick up times etc. They were clearly dog lovers and their house seemed well set up for dogs. We will be using their service again in the near future for sure! Thanks to you both.”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Holmfirth
Percy, our 14 week old cockapoo puppy had his first stay with Natalie and Richard yesterday… it was a huge success!! He had a fantastic time playing with two other dogs and looked content and relaxed straight from drop off. Natalie sent me some lovely pics and video during his stay, which gave us a lot of reassurance and was fun to see him from a distance having fun!! He was very well looked after! I felt very confident leaving him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Natalie and Richard - we will be using them again!!

Richard and Natalie jumped in at last minute to look after our dog when our regular sitter wasn't available. From the outset I found them both very easy to deal with, very communicative and more than happy to accommodate us! They took excellent care of Bailey - he went on loads of adventures and we had regular updates throughout which was very reassuring. Bailey even left with a special doggy bag of treats at the end! I would recommend Richard and Natalie in a heartbeat for anyone wanting a loving home from home for their dog, and a very tired dog at the end of the day was excellent for us after a long day at work! Thank you both.
