Doggy Day Care in High Peak

About: Growing up with on a farm I have a wide range of animal caring skills. The dogs I have experience with include everything from a border collie to a yorkie, a cockapoo, to a St Bernard. I regularly practice obedience training and arrange enrichment activities for my furry companions! I am a big walker and am fortune enough to have a a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies. I will be home during the week at all times, so rest assured your little friends will never be unattended. We live in a peaceful house with an enclosed garden and every day we go on a minimum of two walks, and sometimes a third shorter walk. Who’s at home? I live with my Fiancé and my dog Luna is an older Yorkshire terrier who makes up for her size with character. We also have a wonderful regular cockapoo who will be with us Monday- Thursdays. Should your schedule be very busy I am also happy to accommodate overnight stays. I really look forward to hearing from you and your friends! We have a spacious home with an enclosed garden, serval dog friendly parks close by and a promise of lots of walkies. I also have a cupboard full of toys, but you’re welcome to bring your own favourites! I am home at all times during the week for your peace of mind.

About: We will welcome your dog into our home as one of the family – they may not want to leave! My husband and I are both in our 50s and have spent our lives around dogs. We lost our beloved dog, Jarvis, a few years ago and decided to take a break from dog ownership so we could travel more. However, there's still a dog-shaped hole in our home and our hearts. Our children have now flown the nest, and because I work from home, dog boarding and daycare felt like the perfect way to share our love of dogs while helping other owners. At weekends, your pooch will simply become part of the family. We'll take them along on our adventures, with plans made around their needs, comfort, and enjoyment. 🐾 We aim to keep your dog's routine as close as possible to home. Meal times will follow their normal schedule, and oral medications can be administered exactly as instructed by you. My husband is a retired police officer, and between us we pride ourselves on providing a safe, secure, and trustworthy environment where dogs can relax and feel completely at home. We only accept dogs from one family at a time. Our home is warm, welcoming and secure for your dog(s). We have a fully fenced and secure garden with no rear access, eliminating the risk of gates being left open. Fresh water is available at all times and is refreshed regularly throughout the day. During warmer weather, we leave the back door open so dogs can safely move between the house and garden as they wish and we will ensure your dog is kept as cool as possible. We have space for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in their own familiar crate. If your dog is not usually allowed upstairs, we can provide a comfortable dog bed or sofa space downstairs, helping them maintain the routines and boundaries they're used to at home. Daily photo updates will be sent for your peace of mind.

Karen was lovely and professional throughout, with a lovely dog safe home and genuinely cared about my little pooch! We met beforehand to see how he would get on with her lovely resident dog Reggie (who is a lovely little gent).
