About: I have experience working at doggy daycare as well as raising and looking after all types of dogs. I am passionate about providing the best quality care to your pooch! I will be looking after your dog along with my own friendly Labrador puppy whilst I work from home. They will get plenty of attention, enrichment from homemade treats and toys, and a long walk at 4pm. I have a secure garden, backing onto miles of beautiful dog walking fields. “Lilly had her first sleepover with Louise and we received updates and pictures of how she was doing. This was great and we were reassured that she was having a good time. She was completely relaxed in Louise’s home enjoying lots of cuddles and we will definitely be booking again”

“Bagel had the best time with Chloe, Bianca and Otis! We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they gave her throughout the weekend. It was reassuring to receive regular updates and photos - we felt so relaxed knowing she was in safe hands. Thank you again for taking such good care of Bagel. We’d love to book with you again soon ❤️🐶”

“My dog went to caitlin for 2 nights earlier this week, after an initial meet and greet a few days before. She asked lots of questions to get as much information about cody before his stay, to get to know his routines, and to make it more comfortable for him. She provided updates with photos of him on walks etc and just chilling, reassuring me that he felt comfortable in their home and in their company. Would let him stay again.”

“Michael was great with our slightly complicated rescue girl :) he gave her regular walks and us regular updates to keep our minds at ease. She was in great hands and we’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Alice and family looked after Millie amazingly. We went on a long trip to America but in all the time we were there, we had absolutely no worries. Millie needed some medication and she made sure she got it on time with no issues whatsoever. It was lovely to see the pictures and videos of the lovely walks and cuddles and it was so nice to go away without worrying. We have no hesitation in booking with you again. Thank you Alice for looking after her so well!”

“Lisa & Lawrence are so brilliant! They make everything so easy and kept us updated with lots of pictures which was so reassuring to see Roo having so much fun!😊 she loved her stay so much and can’t wait to return to Lisa & Lawrence’s in May! 🙌🏻🩷 thank you so much!🥰”

“I can not thank Laura and Jay enough for looking after Millie. I was sent pictures and video of her stay and have to say, she looked like she was having so much fun. This was the first time I had left her with anyone, and I was nervous but I need not have been , as she was so well looked after. They are great people who I would highly recommend. There beautiful home is well situated and offers plenty of fields to run and play, and that was just me. If you are looking for someone who you can trust with your own pet, you need not look any further. Thanks again guys, so pleased I found you. Steve and Millie.”

I’ll definitely be booking with Nicola again — highly recommend!”

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
