About: I have taken care of dogs from a young age and have had my dog Barney for 11 years! 🐶 and have looked after, dog sat and walked dogs for the last 6 months! I love to give peace of mind to owners as well as giving all the love and attention to our fluffy babies! ❤️ I can provide drop ins and dog walks Monday - Friday from early in the morning to late in the evening! These can be quick drop ins to provide food, medication, play, toilet breaks up to 1 hour! I can also provide short or long walks, as well as slower walks for our seniors! I will look after your dogs as if they are my own, providing safe and calm environments, ensuring all their needs are met! I can’t wait to meet them!

About: I have had various dogs of my own over the last 35 years, I also look after friends dogs on a regular basis either in their home or in mine! I no longer have a dog of my own so I will definitely love yours as though they are mine! I am now retired, I volunteer for a charity however these times are flexible and I plan my involvement with them according to my diary. I have a fenced garden, I also live in a lovely area with lots of places to walk. I have no pets of my own, your pet will be allowed on furniture if that’s what they are used to. I definitely don’t have any issues with dogs on sofas, beds etc.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for dogs. Since I was young, I’ve been looking after dogs for neighbors and family members, so I’ve developed a natural ability to bond with them quickly. I can easily earn their trust and engage them in playful activities, making them feel comfortable and happy while in my care. I work part-time, only three days a week, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time to walking, playing, feeding, and giving pets the attention they need. Whether it’s daily check-ins, extended stays, or last-minute requests, I can easily adjust my routine to accommodate the needs of both pets and their owners. I only offer pet sitting in my home, as I prioritize my personal safety and feel more comfortable caring for pets in a familiar environment. My home provides a spacious and secure area where pets can move around freely, play, and feel at ease. I ensure a clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly space, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away.

“Stuart was absolutely fantastic with Ozzy. He offered to come and meet him the week before the sit, so Ozzy could get to know him first, which was really helpful, as Ozzy is really anxious and unsure of new people. This made him a lot more relaxed and comfortable when Stuart came to look after him as they had already met. He took Ozzy on a long walk, and also bought poo bags - as I forgot to leave some out for him 🤦🏼‍♀️ Would definitely use Stuart again to sit Ozzy and would highly recommend him!”

About: Your Experience I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always had a huge love for them. Unfortunately, now that I’m an adult, my lifestyle doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own, so I love getting my dog fix by looking after everyone else’s! I’m the designated sitter for my sister and two friends, regularly looking after their dogs whenever they go away for weekends or holidays. I also walk my neighbour’s dog in the evenings when they’re working late. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities, whether that means long walks, playing, keeping them company or simply giving them plenty of attention and cuddles. I’m also a regular runner, so if your dog is particularly energetic and needs more than a gentle stroll, I’m more than happy to give them the exercise they need. Every dog is different, and I’m very happy to follow whatever routine, exercise and care your dog is used to. My priority is making sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, weekend care and overnight stays when arranged in advance. If your stay away is during the week I’m available to work from home. I’m active and regularly go running and walking, so I’m very happy to fit your dog’s usual exercise routine into my day. I’m flexible and will always work around their individual needs and your schedule. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll make sure walks are calm, enjoyable and suited to your dog’s individual needs, age and energy levels. I’m experienced with dogs and understand the importance of following their usual routines, boundaries and instructions. I’ll keep you updated during walks and treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own. Your home will also be treated with respect and left secure and exactly as I found it. Above all, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in safe, caring hands while you’re away.

About: I grew up with an Airedale Terrier who had a big personality. Just retired, I enjoy looking after dogs as part of my life. I cover for friends and family over holidays and special events. I have a suitable home and good sized garden and live in an area where we have access to fields and rivers, so ideal dog-walking territory. I aim to provide a home-from-home to any dog that stays with me, adhering to individual needs and ensuring that plenty of attention and appropriate exercise is given inline with owner wishes. I've just retired, in my early 50s. I like to keep fit and walk regularly. I have plenty of time to ensure any dog is put first and well looked after. I have a good sized house and garden, there's plenty of room for dogs, both inside my house and out in the back garden.

About: I have had dogs my entire life and done volunteer work in dog shelters abroad. I’ve had four dogs of my own who all lived to old age, alongside dog boarding for friends and families dogs. More recently my blind diabetic dog who was 17. I have experience in caring for all breeds and sizes of dogs, including puppies and older dogs requiring medications. I understand how difficult it can be finding dog care and not wanting to use kennels which can be stressful for dogs. I live in a large dog friendly house on a nature reserve, with lots of walks on my doorstep and a large doggy day care room where dogs can play or chill out on the large dog sofa, beds. Whilst I am not ready to have any more dogs of my own, I miss having dogs around and I’m in the ideal position to be able to look after your dog/dogs here in the Peak District. I’m offering a bespoke dog boarding, day care, tailored to your dogs requirements. Rest assured that your dog will be on a holiday of its own with me. I am the biggest dog lover you’re likely to meet. Your pet will not have to fit into my routine, I will be fitting into your pets routine. Your pet will have my full attention whilst with me. We will be going on lots of long walks together and having fun. My house is very dog friendly and your dog would be free to roam around all the house. I would keep your dog in the same routine as you’d have at home. Your dog could have access to supervised outdoor space and would be taken on regular walks. Please note, I do not have a big garden but I do have an outdoor yard and decking areas, also a small front garden and patio area. Dogs would have regular walks. I have done volunteer work in dog shelters and can handle all types of dogs. I am also experienced in managing any physical ailments such as diabetes etc.
