I'm so pleased we found Yara through Rover. She looked after our dog, Jenny for a few days at our house and was brilliant with her. She has a real genuine care and interest for animals, and it came across clearly when we met her,but also how she looked after jenmy throughout the stay. We appreciated her contact with us over the few days and the photo updates. She even taught her a new trick! The house was spotless when we got back and Jenny was relaxed, showing she'd clearly had a good time. Will definitely be asking her to look after Jenny again and would recommend 100%. Thanks Yara!

I have dog walked for family and friends and taken care of friends dogs while they are away. I work 8 - 4 Mon - Fri so have time for dog walking in the evening and weekends. This also means I am available for boarding and doggy day care. I work from home one day a week so only really available for boarding over a weekend. We have a fully fenced in out door space. About: As a Veterinary nurse, I have endless experience handling animals of all sorts. I am well versed in walks, medication and handling animals with additional needs. I have two rescued babies at home to include a lovely playful pup called Hexem, who loves having playmates and a gorgeous bearded dragon called Encona. I work part time so I can provide a huge amount of play time and cuddles. My husband then fills in the rest, so your gorgeous fluff balls will never be lonely. We have lots of parks just around the corner for long walks and an enclosed garden for them to play in. We are an active couple, so you can ensure your little ones will get great walks and lots of attention. We are happy to house any species including reptiles and birds (as long as they come with their own enclosure) as I have a wealth of knowledge in caring for them all. As I work part time, I can provide loads of attention for your fur balls as well as plenty of walks and play time. We have lots of parks nearby so we are spoiled for choice on where to take them. Our pup Hexem loves every dog he meets and is always delighted to have a playmate in the house so you know your pets will have great company. My husband then fills in the rest of the time, so your babies will never be lonely. I have a fenced garden for the dogs to play in and am more than happy for you to bring their crate or bed, so they feel nicely at home whilst they are with us. Any dietary requirements or medication is not a problem, I am happy to accommodate this, as long as you let me know their schedule.

About: I have grown up with family pets including horses, fish, birds, hamsters and mostly dogs! I was a regular Borrow My Doggy walker and have provided overnight dog sitting for family and friends. Dogs I have cared for and grown up with include cairn terrier, lurcher, cockapoo, beagle, mixed breed. A year ago I rescued my first cat Willow from the RSPCA and have never looked back! She's been the best addition to our family. My main job is a registered nurse. I've been a cancer/palliative care nurse for 26 years so if you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, caring, reliable and trustworthy that's just who I am. My availability will be mostly ad hoc on my days off and holidays. I work to a monthly rota in my main job as a registered nurse so pet drop ins, walks and sitting will fit in around this. *Message me for dates from August '26 onwards - current availability released for April, May, June and July* I will be guided by you and care for your pets as you would; how you manage their behaviour, walking on or off the lead, feeding, cleaning and providing love and attention. I will also respect and care for your home during drop ins and overnight stays. I have always stood by the saying, "treat others as you would want to be treated yourself".

About: I currently work for the UKS largest rehoming organisation which allowed me to learn dog behaviours inside and out, having undergone training to recognise behaviours, what they mean, and how i can care for dogs personal to their needs. I also spent 7 months in The Philippines independently rescuing and caring for over 18 animals (newborn puppies and kittens included) - Having found my own furbaby on the street in horrific condition i nursed him back to full health and brought him back to the UK with me. Between working part time and caring for my own doggy, i have the time to help others look after their fur babies as i know life can be so busy! I have training on dog behaviours and know how to make your pet comfortable. I listen to even the smallest of needs/wants for your pet because every one is different and i know particular routines are so important! No detail is too small.

About: What sets me apart is the combination of professional training and genuine love I bring to every dog I care for. I’m DBS checked, fully insured, trained in animal first aid, and have completed animal behaviour courses, so you can feel confident that your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first. Beyond qualifications, I understand that every dog is unique — from energetic pups who need long walks and playtime, to older companions who appreciate a slower pace and gentle care. I adapt to their needs, paying attention to their body language, routines, and favourite comforts, so they feel secure and happy while you’re away. I don’t just “look after” dogs — I build a bond with them, treating them as I would my own, with patience, kindness, and respect. And because I know how important peace of mind is, I keep you updated with photos and messages so you never feel far from your furry friend. 🐾 I like to keep my schedule flexible so I can give pets the attention they need while working around family life. Here’s when I’m usually available for walks, drop-ins, and cuddles: Monday – Friday • Early mornings: 5:30am – 8:00am • Daytime: 9:30am – 2:00pm • Evenings: 3:45pm – 8:30pm Weekends • Mornings: 5:30am – 10:30am • Afternoons/Evenings: 4:00pm – 8:00pm If you need something slightly outside these times, just drop me a message — I’ll always do my best to fit you in. 🐾 🐾 In My Home I don’t offer boarding for dogs, but I can happily care for small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, or hamsters in a calm, clean, and safe environment. I make sure they have plenty of space, enrichment, and the same routine they’re used to at home, so they feel settled and cared for. Hygiene and comfort are a top priority, and I always follow your instructions closely to keep your little ones happy and healthy. 🐾 In Your Home When looking after pets in their own home, I treat your space with the same respect as I do my own. I follow your pet’s normal routine, from feeding times to walks and cuddles, so they feel secure in familiar surroundings. Safety always comes first — I double-check doors, gates, and litter trays, keep a close eye on body language, and ensure fresh water and clean spaces at every visit. I’m also trained in animal first aid, DBS checked, and fully insured, so you can relax knowing your pets are in safe, trustworthy hands I will close curtains collect post etc for extra security

About: Hi! I’m Angela, a caring and reliable pet lover with hands-on experience looking after dogs of all ages and personalities. Over the past 3 years, I’ve cared for three wonderful dogs: two older boys—a Chihuahua and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel—who needed gentle attention, patience, and help with medication, and a lively Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy full of energy. This has made me confident with both senior dogs with specific needs and younger, more active ones. I always treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m attentive to routines, whether that means sticking to specific diets, administering medication, or providing the right balance of exercise, playtime, and rest. I mainly work from home with one or two days in the office, which means I can give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. At the moment, there are no pets in my home, so your dog or cat will have my full attention. I also have a small garden, which is perfect for some fresh air and safe outdoor time. I’m happy to care for cats as well, making sure they feel calm, relaxed, and well looked after in a peaceful environment. I truly enjoy the companionship pets bring, and I’d love to spend time caring for yours—giving them the same love and attention I always have. I work mainly from home, And I have flexible job. Which helps me to accommodate your pet needs. I will be staying in the house with your pet and when they need walking there are few parks around where they can be free to run. I have a fenced small garden, and a conservatory where dogs normally loves to stay as it is sunny, the place is spacious and it has hosted previously 3 dogs.

We had a lot of videos and photo’s every day while on our travels. We can’t thank her enough for taking brilliant care after Dexter. Highly recommended! Thank you for loving and professional care.

Caitlin was absolutely amazing when sitting our dog, Finley, for two nights. She was friendly and polite, and clearly loves dogs. I think Finley was very sad to see her leave when we got home! She left the house clean and tidy, it was like she was never there. Both us and Finley would happily have Caitlin back again in the future and would highly recommend!

Yarah was so lovely and so helpful. Rosie loved her and even tried to go with Yarah when she was leaving the house. Yarah was so accommodating and was ok arriving and leaving when my daughter was here rather than us. Nothing was too much trouble. It made so much difference to us knowing Rosie had some company in her own environment. Thanks so much. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yarah and have no hesitation in using her again for anymore dog sitting we require. Thanks again

Nicola was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She looked after our home and our two dogs for two weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our youngest, Hugo, isn’t the easiest to settle and can be a bit of a handful, but Nicola handled him effortlessly with no fuss, no drama, just calm, capable care. It gave us real peace of mind knowing everything was in such good hands. She was accommodating, thoughtful, and clearly takes real pride in what she does. We came home to happy dogs and a well looked after house, which says it all. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nicola and will 100% be booking her again.

Micheal was fantastic from the first point of contact . Communication was excellent before caring for Holly and Kobe and during the time they were in his care. Micheal ensured he had all the information he needed to care for Holly and Kobe . He took the time to get to know them before we went away . Whilst we was on holiday Micheal would send daily updates with photos. We did not have to worry about Holly and Kobe whilst on holiday as we knew they were being well cared for . We had two happy dogs on our return from holiday and they have not sulked with us for the first time for leaving them !
