“Another fantastic stay for our two with Julia and Tony. This was the longest we have left them and the videos, we got throughout, showed what are marvellous time they had and how well they were looked after. Thank you Julia and Tony. Highly recommend.”

“Amanda and John are amazing. They looked after my Lacy while we were on holiday and my mind was completely at ease knowing they were caring for her. I recommend Amanda and John 100%, they cared for Lacy like she was their own and she came home being very spoilt ?”

“Nicola looked after Frodo for a full week and did a wonderful job. He was clearly happy, well cared for, and settled when I picked him up. Nicola kept me updated and treated Frodo like one of her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and would happily book with her again.”

“We booked our cocker spaniel Daniel in with Michael for an overnight stay having previously booked him for a daycare session. I honestly can't recommend Michael enough, he is super reliable and responsive, he is so attentive to Daniel with lots of walks, playtime and cuddles and sends regular updates and photos. My husband and I had a great relaxing weekend away knowing that Daniel was in such safe hands with his friend Michael.”

“Dan is amazing. His genuine love for dogs really shows: he’s patient, caring, and always puts the dog’s needs first (even if that means playing fetch for the 100th time). Our rescue Belgian Malinois, Apple, stayed with him for two weeks over Christmas and he handled her reactivity and need for a slow introduction perfectly and Apple now runs toward Dan, which says everything. By the time we left for our holiday leaving her behind for the first time, all my worries were gone. We picked her up happy, clean, and with everything neatly packed. Dan is the best, highly recommend.”

“Teddy and Oscar started with a meet and greet and I knew immediately Tracy and Dani would take good care of my boys, we than agreed and overnight stay to make sure the boys settled, I needn’t have worried, they settled in perfectly, it was like they’d always been there 😄 Tracy and Dani were so attentive, kind and caring. I got regular updates and pictures throughout the day which was so reassuring. I picked them up this morning and I think they would have quite happily stayed with Tracy and Dani. They are staying next week and I can go away confident and relaxed knowing my boys are in the best place and will be well looked after.. thank you so much Ladies, Highly recommended 🤩”

“Arlo had a great time with Karen and her family. They were so welcoming and made sure Arlo was content and happy with them at all times during his stay. She kept us up to date with photos to let us know how he was getting on. Would highly recommend x”

“Chloe was amazing with our dog Rhubarb. We got loads of photos of her out for a walk and then chilling later. She was clearly very well looked after! Thanks so much Chloe 💕”

“Ko clearly knows and understands dogs. He looked after Peggy, our collie, overnight; took her for plenty of walks and understood her quirks - eg, a walk doesn’t happen if there isn’t a ball! It was good to be able to arrange a meet and greet beforehand. I would definitely recommend Ko.”

“Steve is absolutely brilliant! Albi stayed with him for an evening earlier in the year, and we were so impressed with the care he gave that we were thrilled when he was available again for our week-long holiday. Steve kept us updated with loads of lovely photos and messages, and it was clear Albi was having the best time! He made new dog friends, had plenty of fun, and honestly didn’t look like he was ready to come home. We’re so grateful for the love and attention Steve gave him, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“I was a bit nervous leaving my boy with a new person but Clare was so reassuring and kind. She sent lots of updates and pictures and Peaches was happy, calm and very tired after picking up.”

“Matthew was amazing with Kasper & Kara, walking the two of them together several times a day and letting them have a run in an enclosed dog field. He maintained their medication and feeding routine and sent regular updates and videos which we really appreciated. They came home contented and tired and fell straight to sleep. Highly recommend and will certainly use again. Thank you Matthew and family 😊”

“Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Tyrion and Eric. Being away from them is always hard, but knowing they were happy, loved, and truly looked after made us feel completely at ease. We came home to two very content dogs, which says everything. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t trust anyone else. X”

“Bagel had the best time with Chloe, Bianca and Otis! We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they gave her throughout the weekend. It was reassuring to receive regular updates and photos - we felt so relaxed knowing she was in safe hands. Thank you again for taking such good care of Bagel. We’d love to book with you again soon ❤️🐶”

“We recently boarded our puppy Otis with Monina and Jordan for 4 nights, alongside their two lovable sausage dogs, Knives and Wallace. This was Otis’s very first time staying away from home, so naturally we were a little nervous, but Monina and Jordan put our minds completely at ease. Their communication was fantastic – we received regular updates and photos which showed Otis having the best time, whether playing with Knives and Wallace or relaxing after a busy day. It was clear how much care, attention, and love they gave to Otis throughout his stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we feel so lucky to have found them. We’ll definitely be booking with Monina and Jordan again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and fun home from home for their dog.”

“Nikki is amazing! She has gone out of her way to make sure our holiday was as stress free as possible! Pepper absolutely loved her time with Nikki - she was crying when she had to say goodbye. Couldn’t recommend Nikki enough - we were kept up to date with lots of photos and it really makes it easier to be away from your fur baby when you know they are in safe, loving hands 🐾🤍”

“lidia was brilliant with my puppy, I left him in her care overnight, she ensured me he was ok through the duration sending me pictures of him. Bailey was very happy with her care :)”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PET SITTER !!! We would happily give more than 5 stars if we could. Neomi only lives round the corner so we managed to meet her beforehand which was so reassuring. My anxiety was instantly eased as soon as we started speaking and she kept us updated with our 3 cats constantly! We got lots of pictures from her and can tell she absolutely loves animals and has so much care for them. We will be having her over every time we go away and we really could not recommend her more. Thank you so much 💗”

“Nicola was great with our cats - she regularly sent us updates and when we came home our cats looked healthy and well looked after. Would book with her again! She’s also very lovely to deal with and made the whole process very easy.”

“Paige has been an absolute superstar with Cheddar and Skittle. The fact that they warmed to her so quickly is a testament to her kind and gentle nature, she truly understood their personalities and tended to their individual needs. We didn’t worry about them once and her detailed pet cards were both a source of entertainment and a much needed source of relief being away from our pets! I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thankyou for everything Paige! Xx”

“Nicola was a dream. Really flexible and accommodating. She’s really approachable and made me feel instantly relaxed leaving our Cat in her care and visiting our home while we were away. We’ll definitely book Nicola again when we need a helping hand.”

About: Hii! My name is Niamh, and I've been an animal lover my whole life. I've now worked on Pawshake for around a year and love it! I've been fortunate enough to be a cat and dog owner and currently have a family rescue cat and dog called Batman and Bob in Spain! I am originally English, but I moved to Spain a few years ago and found my lovely pets. I have been looking after my friends and family's cats over the past few years, as well as numerous clients' pets of the past year. I have been surrounded by cats my whole life, and would love to care for your pet when you're away. I've lived in Stalybridge for a while and love it, but I've been missing being around my pets. So I thought, let's look after pets! My services: 🐈feeding, playing, keeping them company, cleaning litter trays I am able to pop in if needed to keep your pet company, play with, feed. I will collect any mail or deliveries to put in a safe space and water plants if needed! When booking, please tell me about your pet's characteristics and any quirks to keep myself and your pet safe and happy! (The more you tell me, the better) To note! I require, before all bookings, to do a meet-and-greet so your pet and I are both as comfortable as possible, and I can collect house keys if needed:)

“Kayleigh is a very patient and kind sitter. Puss took to her immediately and I was happy to book her again. Puss had been ill and Kayleigh managed to give her the medicine and Puss still stayed friends with her. Kayleigh sent me lots of pictures while I was away so I could see how they were getting on. I don’t have many trips away now Puss has health conditions, but would always book Kayleigh. 🐈⬛😻”

“Vanessa and Tony took amazing care of our cat, Nugget! They are such kind people with a genuine love for cats and we couldn't have felt more comfortable with them looking after our Nug! The daily updates/photos were so comforting too. We knew our little man was in great hands! I highly recommend Vanessa and Tony for anyone's cat sitting needs! :)”

“Yarah, is a truly lovely thoughtful young woman, who as a deep love of all animals and creatures great and small. I couldn't have asked for a nicer person to look after our 3 cats while we were away for a few days with our Grandson. She went above and beyond looking after them. It was lovely to be able to not have to worry at all about their care. She kept in touch with updates and photos etc. I will definitely be asking her to look after them again and cannot recommend her highly enough.😊”

“Clare was wonderful with my Border Collie, Phoebe! She provided regular updates with photos, showing how happy and active Phoebe was during her stay. Clare's home was perfect for a playful dog like Phoebe, offering plenty of space to run and play. I felt completely at ease knowing Phoebe was in such good hands. I highly recommend Clare to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. We'll definitely be returning!”

“Monty has just come back from another few days of doggy day care. As usual, we received plenty of videos of his adventures. They are the most caring people we have ever met when it comes to dogs. We can’t recommend them enough and feel so lucky they are in the same town as us. Always flexible with their times. Monty loves his time there and can’t wait to get in their garden as soon as we approach their street, he knows exactly where he’s going, for a day of fun and a catch up with Ted and Logan! Thank you”

“Thank you for looking after Toby on such short notice! I needed to go into the office on short notice, I asked Monina if she was able to look after my 3 month old puppy. She responded so fast on messages and was super friendly! Monina was sending me updates throughout the day on how Toby was doing, which was very reassuring. Monina is kind and friendly and if I need a sitter again I would 100% go back to her. Thank you again Monina!”

“I was really pleased we got to do a meet and greet before leaving Cookie for the day. She was really relaxed and seemed to get on well with Karen's dogs. On the day, Karen shared lots of pictures of Cookies day and it was obvious she had a good time as she didn't really want to leave! I would definitely leave Cookie with Karen again. Thanks for taking care of our pup!”

“Our anxious frenchie was excited to go back to Neoma’s house & reunite with his new friend Zuko. As you can imagine this put us at ease right away. We are grateful that we have had Neoma’s help while my mum recovers. We will stay in touch.”

“Tracy and her family agreed to care for Bubbles at short notice so I could attend a funeral for the day. Bubbles had never been left with anyone other than my own family members previously. Prior to the day care we arranged a ‘meet and greet’ which was a positive experience for both Bubbles and myself and this left me confident and reassured that Bubbles would be in ‘safe hands’ for me to leave her for a full day. On the actual day Bubbles was in Tracy’s care I received regular text messages/pictures throughout the day updating me on her eating habits, toilet breaks, play time ,walks and lots of cuddles. All in all Bubbles and I have had a very pleasant and positive experience with Tracy and her family and I would 100% recommend Tracys services which I will definitely be using again in the future. Thank-you very much Tracy and family for taking such wonderful care of my Bubbles for the day.”

I am trained in fear-free handling, meaning I focus on creating calm and positive experiences for pets, especially those who may feel nervous, shy or anxious around new people or environments 🤍🐶🐱 I am also an ISFM Cat Friendly Advocate and have completed additional training in cat-friendly handling, allowing me to provide gentle, stress-aware care for feline companions 🐱✨ What really makes my service different is the combination of clinical knowledge and genuine love for animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Alongside my professional experience, I’m also a proud dog mum to my Basset Hound Rosie, who reminds me every day how special the bond between pets and their owners truly is 🐶💚 When your pet is in my care, you can feel confident knowing they are with someone who is qualified, experienced and truly passionate about animal welfare. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as animals have always been a huge part of my life. Alongside running my pet care services, I also work part-time as a Registered Veterinary Nurse during the week, which allows me to maintain my clinical skills while still offering flexible and reliable pet sitting and drop-in visits. Because I work part-time shifts, I’m able to plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets in my care receive the time, attention and routine they need 🐶🐱 On days I am not in practice, I have much greater flexibility for longer visits, pet sitting, walks and check-ins. When I do have a shift, I ensure visits are scheduled around my working hours so pets are never left without the care and companionship they deserve. Being a veterinary nurse also means I’m very used to structured routines and planning ahead, so you can feel confident that your pet’s feeding times, walks, medication and daily routine will always be followed carefully 🩺🐾 Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so spending my free time looking after pets fits perfectly into my lifestyle 🤍 Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my highest priority 🤍 As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years of experience, I am trained to recognise changes in behaviour, health and wellbeing, giving owners extra reassurance while their pets are in my care. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine and individual needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or shy and cautious, I adapt my approach to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. I am passionate about fear-free handling, meaning I always aim to minimise stress and create calm, positive experiences for pets. This is especially important for nervous animals or those who may struggle with new environments. I will always respect your home and your pet’s usual routine — following feeding schedules, walk routines and medication instructions carefully 🐶🐱 As a pet owner myself, I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new. That’s why I treat every animal with the same level of care, patience and compassion as I would my own 🐾💚 You can relax knowing your pet is being looked after by someone qualified, experienced and genuinely passionate about animal welfare.

I am happy to do drop in visits for longer if you need me to! as long as both you and your furry friend are happy then i don’t mind!. I will also make sure the house is safe, ensuring doors and windows are locked upon leaving.
“Very pleasant young lady. I booked Yarah to take my dog out for a midday walk. The meet and greet went great and she was eager to learn all she could about my dogs personality and his temperament. After the walk she discussed everything with me and was open and honest about how it went. Would definitely recommend Yarah she is passionate about all animals.”

“Kelly and Tolu were so friendly and loving towards Moose. They were very accommodating and did a courtesy meet up at a park to make sure we were comfortable with them. Moose was happy to stay at their house and came back just as happy. Already have another booking with them for a longer stay!”

“Just like to say what a great time cooper had playing with his new friends ralphie and mabel, milly and kayley treated him like their own which was so reassuring for us. We will definitely be going back the next time we go on a trip knowing what kind and compassionate people they are. Thank you so much again. See you soon Rik & Deb”

“I can not thank Laura and Jay enough for looking after Millie. I was sent pictures and video of her stay and have to say, she looked like she was having so much fun. This was the first time I had left her with anyone, and I was nervous but I need not have been , as she was so well looked after. They are great people who I would highly recommend. There beautiful home is well situated and offers plenty of fields to run and play, and that was just me. If you are looking for someone who you can trust with your own pet, you need not look any further. Thanks again guys, so pleased I found you. Steve and Millie.”

“Kelly has a lifetime of experience with dogs. I was afraid to leave Amaya with someone new for an extended period, but Kelly was reassuring and treated Amaya like her own! Kelly spoiled her with meat and fish (Amaya's favorite), but also balanced with exercise as was evident by Amaya coming back looking happy and healthy! I wouldn't hesitate to recommed her pet sitting services. Thanks again Kelly!”

“Keri was so wonderful with Goose! He didn’t want to leave her back garden as he was having the best little time! Highly recommend her to look after your fluffy child! He can’t wait for the next one!”
