This was my first time leaving Toby, my Tibetan terrier, with Alice and her family for 8 nights but they looked after him wonderfully and it looked like he had a very pampered, fantastic time! Alice provided frequent updates with photos and videos, which were much appreciated so I knew he was well cared for and embraced as one of their family. I would highly recommend Alice to look after your precious doggi and I certainly will be in touch with her again. Thank You!!!”

“From the first message Tracy and Dani made sure fynn’s welfare and comfort was at the forefront of their care. Meet and greet was arranged and straight away I knew they were the people to look after my baby while I was away. He had his overnight stay last night to settle into new surroundings with new people and he absolutely loved it! I was so nervous at first having fynn never stayed in boarding before but they made me feel so reassured giving me regular updates on how fynn was doing and what he was up to. He enjoyed himself so much he can’t wait to stay again! “Kodjo looked after my dog during a heatwave. He ensured that my dog was kept comfortable, he utilised fans and air conditioning inside his home to create a nice cool atmosphere for him. When the temperature was cool enough outside, Kodjo had him out on nice long walks to tire him out. He not only followed all care instructions - but went the extra mile during my pet’s stay. I would highly recommend.”
“Clare was fantastic, very pet focused. We did a meet and greet before he stayed overnight, which went so well. She was very flexible with times. A lovely touch was Clare took the time to take photos throughout his stay and send them over. Dekka obviously had a fantastic time, he is a 7 month Doberman puppy so full of fun which Clare managed very well. I will definitely book Clare again.”

Artie got regular walks, was constantly played with and fussed and generally treated like royalty - loved it. We ended up stuck on the way home from our trip and Stasys went out of his way to drop Eevee off with a family member just to take some stress off my plate - honestly that was such a big help. “Chloe and Ant looked after Rusty for us today and they were absolutely incredible with him. Rusty is a foreign rescue who has only been in the country for 8 months, and hes not a big fan of being away from his Mum and Dad but of course that need arises sometimes! Chloe and Ant have been absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with him. I was a bit nervous myself leaving him in the care of someone else, but I had no need to be. Chloe kept us updated with how he was getting on too which gave me peace of mind! “Marley had an absolutely brilliant time with Sarasa. She went above and beyond for us and even brought Marley to visit us on our wedding day, which we were so grateful for! During his stay, Sarasa took Marley on so many beautiful walks and sent us loads of photos and videos of Marley having a great time! He got lots of cuddles and was so relaxed and happy when we picked him up. Sarasa’s dog Coco was also a beautiful girl and seemed to get on really well with Marley. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter than Stasys! He was absolutely amazing with Fifi and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Fifi can be quite reactive, so we really appreciated how patient and understanding he was, and how he adjusted everything to suit her needs. He kept us updated throughout with lots of photos and videos, which we absolutely loved. Fifi looked so happy, relaxed and well cared for in every single one, and it was clear that she was getting plenty of attention and care. He also kept us informed whenever anything came up, which gave us so much reassurance. Stasys made the whole experience completely stress-free. We would definitely trust him with Fifi again. 😊
Clare is a wonderful dog sitter! We had used kennels in the past but felt guilty about it. When we discovered Rover and several dog sitters near us, we really liked Clare's profile and first tried a weekend for Milo to see how he would get on, and all went amazingly well. We then booked a 10 day holiday feeling reassured he would be very happy with Clare. He loves her two dogs Ruby and Reggie, and gets along with any other dogs staying at the same time. Jungmin was great with Muffin! She made him feel welcome and provided daily updates which were lovely. Muffin settled in quickly and came home very happy, and relaxed. If I could give 10 stars I would! My dog, Briar loved her stay with Daniel for 11 nights whilst we was away. I was extremely anxious leaving her, as this was her first sleepover away from home. But Briar seemed to have settled incredibly with Daniel. We did a one night sleepover a month before we went away to test the waters and everything was fine. Daniel kept to the routine for her medication, he walked her and gave her so much love. So much so, that I truly believe now we’re back, she is missing him!! Already rebooked for our holiday next year. I will recommend Daniel’s services to everyone I know and will always use his services again. Five stars for Monina, Jordan & not forgetting little Wesley! First time leaving Busby for a week, and their communication was absolutely second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Even though Busby is a puppy and naturally came with his own issues, they agreed to look after him without hesitation. We loved receiving the various photos and videos they sent us throughout the week. We always knew he was in safe, loving hands, from the moment we did the meet & greet! Thank you guys ❤️
Delighted with the 5* care of our rescue dog Penny. She stayed for 3 weeks and was treated like part of the family with love, cuddles and plenty of walks. Penny had a blast and we had a relaxed holiday knowing she was so well looked after by Debra and Jimmy, we got daily photos and updates too, couldn’t have asked for more!🤩
My 14yr old Dachshund had a weekend stay with Julie following his companion of 12yrs passing away. He was very depressed and not himself at all and I wasnt going to go to my plans initially. I then came across Julie and she seemed so lovely. During the initial visit she was calm and kind and Ziggy seemed right at home. She was sp accommodating when I explained that I had to leave earlier and said it was okay he could go. She sent me regular updates and pictures to reassure me that Ziggy was okay. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
