About: As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years of experience, I bring a level of professional knowledge and reassurance that many standard pet sitters simply can’t offer 🩺🐾 Working in veterinary practice means I am highly experienced in animal behaviour, handling and recognising subtle changes in a pet’s health or wellbeing. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I am trained in fear-free handling, meaning I focus on creating calm and positive experiences for pets, especially those who may feel nervous, shy or anxious around new people or environments 🤍🐶🐱 I am also an ISFM Cat Friendly Advocate and have completed additional training in cat-friendly handling, allowing me to provide gentle, stress-aware care for feline companions 🐱✨ What really makes my service different is the combination of clinical knowledge and genuine love for animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Alongside my professional experience, I’m also a proud dog mum to my Basset Hound Rosie, who reminds me every day how special the bond between pets and their owners truly is 🐶💚 When your pet is in my care, you can feel confident knowing they are with someone who is qualified, experienced and truly passionate about animal welfare. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as animals have always been a huge part of my life. Alongside running my pet care services, I also work part-time as a Registered Veterinary Nurse during the week, which allows me to maintain my clinical skills while still offering flexible and reliable pet sitting and drop-in visits. Because I work part-time shifts, I’m able to plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets in my care receive the time, attention and routine they need 🐶🐱 On days I am not in practice, I have much greater flexibility for longer visits, pet sitting, walks and check-ins. When I do have a shift, I ensure visits are scheduled around my working hours so pets are never left without the care and companionship they deserve. Being a veterinary nurse also means I’m very used to structured routines and planning ahead, so you can feel confident that your pet’s feeding times, walks, medication and daily routine will always be followed carefully 🩺🐾 Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so spending my free time looking after pets fits perfectly into my lifestyle 🤍 Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my highest priority 🤍 As a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 10 years of experience, I am trained to recognise changes in behaviour, health and wellbeing, giving owners extra reassurance while their pets are in my care. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine and individual needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or shy and cautious, I adapt my approach to ensure they feel safe and relaxed. I am passionate about fear-free handling, meaning I always aim to minimise stress and create calm, positive experiences for pets. This is especially important for nervous animals or those who may struggle with new environments. I will always respect your home and your pet’s usual routine — following feeding schedules, walk routines and medication instructions carefully 🐶🐱 As a pet owner myself, I know how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone new. That’s why I treat every animal with the same level of care, patience and compassion as I would my own 🐾💚 You can relax knowing your pet is being looked after by someone qualified, experienced and genuinely passionate about animal welfare.

About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for dogs and run Ruby’s Retreat, a home-from-home boarding service in Dukinfield. As a Rover Star Sitter with 33 five-star reviews, I provide personalised care in a calm family environment. I work from home, meaning dogs receive company, supervision and attention throughout the day. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescue dogs, nervous dogs, medication administration and multi-dog households. Every dog is treated as an individual and I take time to learn their personality, routine and preferences so they feel safe, relaxed and settled during their stay. I carefully manage group dynamics and only accept dogs that I feel will be a good fit for the environment, ensuring a positive experience for everyone. I work from home full-time, which means dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of supervision, attention and companionship throughout the day. Each day includes garden access, exercise, playtime, rest periods and lots of interaction. I adapt routines to suit individual dogs, whether they prefer active days, quiet companionship or a little of both. I am flexible with feeding schedules, medication requirements and established routines to help your dog feel comfortable and settled during their stay. At Ruby’s Retreat, dogs stay in a calm family home with secure outdoor space and are treated as part of the family. I carefully manage introductions and group dynamics to ensure dogs are well matched and comfortable with one another. Every dog receives individual attention and I take time to understand their personality, routine and any specific needs before their stay. Dogs are welcome on furniture and have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day. However, I am always happy to follow an owner’s preferred rules and routines to maintain consistency. Regular photo and video updates are provided throughout your dog’s stay, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, so you could definitely say I’m a bit of a dog person (although my cat would probably argue that point!). I grew up in a household full of animals, from big German Shepherds to tiny Pomeranians, and have always loved everything that comes with having pets around — the walks, the cuddles, the muddy paws and, of course, the inevitable hair absolutely everywhere! My love for cats has grown over the years too, and I’m now a proud owner of both a dog and a cat — my Shiba Inu, Peach, and my little moggy, Puddin. Between them, I’ve definitely learnt that every animal has their own personality, quirks and very strong opinions! I’m comfortable caring for all different breeds and sizes of dogs and cats, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal and figuring out what makes them tick. Whether they want a long walk, a game of fetch, some attention or simply to curl up beside me and pretend I don’t exist, I’m more than happy to go along with it. For me, looking after animals isn’t just a job — it’s something I genuinely love doing. I work part-time, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to giving your pets the attention, walks and cuddles they deserve! My little girl is in childcare three days a week, so Monday–Wednesday are my main pet-sitting days. That said, life doesn’t always run according to a calendar (especially with a toddler!), so if you need a day that isn’t showing as available, please feel free to message me anyway. I sometimes have last-minute availability and would always rather you ask than assume I’m fully booked! Basically, if I can make it work, I will — because who doesn’t want an excuse to spend more time with animals? 🐾 I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats at every stage of life, whether that’s a bouncy puppy or kitten who needs lots of attention and patience, an adult who’s ready for walks and playtime, or a senior pet who prefers a slower pace and plenty of cosy cuddles. I understand that every animal is different, and I’m more than happy to work around their individual personality, routine and needs. I’m also comfortable administering oral medication when needed. I know that giving a pet medication can sometimes feel like a bit of a mission, so I’m happy to follow your instructions and make sure they get what they need without making a big fuss about it. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel happy, safe and completely comfortable while they’re with me. Whether they need a long adventurous walk, a quick potter around the block, some energetic playtime, lots of fuss and attention, or simply a warm lap and a quiet place to snooze, I’m happy to follow their lead. After all, they’re the ones in charge — I’m just here to keep them happy and well looked after! 🐾

About: I’ve helped my partner look after many different types of dogs over the last few years, from German Shepherds to Teacup Dachshunds. I’m now looking for dog walking opportunities of my own. I have owned dogs for 35 years and I’m currently the owner of an 8 year old Springer Spaniel and a 10 year old miniature Yorkshire Terrier (these 2 won’t be joining me on the walks). I’m willing to offer solo dog walks where required. I’m currently studying Counselling and splitting care for my elderly father with my family, this allows me some free time during the week to fit in local dog walking. I always walk other people’s dogs on a lead and try and cover as much ground as possible to give the dog and myself a good amount of exercise (unless the dog is elderly or I have been given precise instructions on how to walk a dog)

I’m DBS checked, fully insured, trained in animal first aid, and have completed animal behaviour courses, so you can feel confident that your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first. I don’t just “look after” dogs — I build a bond with them, treating them as I would my own, with patience, kindness, and respect. I make sure they have plenty of space, enrichment, and the same routine they’re used to at home, so they feel settled and cared for. Hygiene and comfort are a top priority, and I always follow your instructions closely to keep your little ones happy and healthy. 🐾 In Your Home When looking after pets in their own home, I treat your space with the same respect as I do my own.
