About: I have been fortunate to own and care for many dogs throughout my whole life. From puppies to seniors, I have experience with many different breeds and temperaments. I look after family and friends dogs and have the time, patience and space to provide a home from home when their owners are away. I’m semi retired and only work a few hours a week from home; so I have plenty of time to play, walk and be there for your dog. I’m available 7 days a week. I live in a detached house with a large secured front and back garden. There’s plenty of space for your dog to roam around freely, sniff and explore. Our furry guests are always supervised when out playing in the garden. We live near some lovely open spaces and scenic walks.

About: With 12 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, I bring medical knowledge, a calm demeanor, and deep compassion to every pet I care for. I'm comfortable giving medications, handling senior pets with mobility issues, and understanding subtle changes in behavior that others might miss. I’m also great with nervous or shy animals—patience and kindness go a long way. As a proud cat mom, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always tailor my care to match. As a full-time mom with a flexible schedule, I’m home most of the day and can easily fit pet care into my routine. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or extended stays, I make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and love they need. I plan my day around their comfort, keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment—clean, secure, and free of hazards. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, dietary needs, and any medical instructions. In a pet owner's home, I respect their space and keep everything just as they left it. I take time to build trust with every pet, making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved whether we’re at my place or theirs.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with two friendly 9-year-old dogs of my own and 9 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I’m proud to have already received five 5-star reviews from happy owners on Rover, and I aim to make every dog feel safe, relaxed and completely at home during their stay. Dogs staying with me enjoy daily walks, outdoor time, play, plenty of attention and downtime to suit their individual routine and personality. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so they receive lots of individual attention and genuinely become part of the family while they’re here. For added peace of mind, I have comprehensive pet care insurance and am Canine Pet First Aid trained. I also have a secure garden and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. Dogs aged 1 year+ welcome. 🐾 My main availability is at weekends for dog walking and sitting. I can also accommodate weekday bookings for walks or overnight sitting with advance notice, particularly for longer or pre-arranged stays. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. I have a fully enclosed garden for secure outdoor time, and two small, friendly dogs who can provide companionship and help your dog settle in and feel relaxed in a welcoming home environment.

About: Hi my name is Hannah, I'm 18 years old and I live in Sale, part of Greater Manchester. I spent many years of my life living with dogs, cats, fish and guinea pigs. After losing my dog Alfie, I have wanted more than anything to spend more time with animals and i would love to look after your furry friends! In my spare time I love walking, I love flying light aircraft, I'm a big fan of art and I love spending time with my friends. As I love walking, I would be offering dog walking, as well as pet sitting (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs) and staying overnight if needed. I understand that all animals have their own routines so I want to ensure I can adhere to their routines as much as possible. I drive so I would be able to take your dogs to nearby parks or days out such as Tatton Park etc. Having finished sixth form this year and looking for some time away from studying, I am free most of the time and am very flexible, I have no issues staying late. I can't wait to hear from you and meet your furry friends! Having just finished sixth form I am very flexible and can work any day of the week and i can work weekends. I have no problem staying late or doing overnights I have a quiet and cozy home with plenty of safe spots for them curl up. My doors and windows are secure, with a cat flap provided

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Sadly having recently lost our family dog of 15 years I’m looking to fill the big gap left in my heart. Not wanting to totally commit to another dog at the moment, I would love the opportunity to care for others as my own in our dog loving family home. With more than 40 years experience of all kinds of dogs, and other animals I’m well equipped with all the tools and most importantly patience and love to care for your furry friend. Our dog was a rescue who came with issues which we managed to work through enabling him to live a happy 15 years with us. I will treat yours as my own, being mindful to respect any rules and values you may have, offering plenty of walks, love and affection. I’m currently working part time from home which means I am extremely flexible and have plenty of availability. I am generally at home and would enjoy the company of a dog in the house again with me as we lost our dog of 15 years and miss him terribly. I am happy to drive a short distance to collect or do home visits and walks. There are no young children in the house, we are all confident, experienced animal lovers especially dogs. Our dog always slept in his own bed, either downstairs or in one of our bedrooms at night and was generally not allowed on the sofa or beds unless invited. Any dog would be treated like part of the family and we would accommodate any particular needs as best we can. I would always respect the rules that you have for your pet as I appreciate how frustrating it can be when these are not adhered to. I have experience of caring for both young and old. There are currently no other pets in the house and I would only ever have a maximum of 2-3 dogs at a time depending on their individual requirements and temperament and assuming they are tolerant of others and happy to have playmates. We have a large garden which is fully fenced and secure.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, different sizes and breeds. I used to volunteer on a shelter from the age of 16 when I was still living in Spain, and I also helped my brother with his dog business when I was at home. I groom my own dog and I have groomed other dogs too :) I brought my 13 year old Cocker Spaniel to Manchester with me in 2015. He's still by my side, he's getting old and is castrated, he's a very relaxed good boy :) I gave up on my career 2 years ago due to motherhood. Not planning to go back to my office days. Plenty of time in my hands to allow for flexibility and the right care for your pet. :) I'm currently off work as I have been taking on a career break to extend my child's care. She's now attending to nursery. With 3 days notice to get organised, I can be available anytime, on a daily/weekly basis. Hello! I'm Blanca, I am based in Carrington, with beautiful fields and countryside at the door step of my house, which also has a very good sized garden. I gave up on my career to extend my child's care, but now she's going to nursery and she's on 50/50 shared care. I own a 13 years old Cocker Spaniel, and I have owned other breeds in the past when I used to live at home (German shepherd, Jack Russell & Pitbull). I enjoy spending time with dogs and even though I do not hold any professional certification, I would be able to guarantee the best care for your pet. As a Spanish woman living in Manchester for the past 12 years, I know how important it is to find someone reliable and truly caring to look after your best friend, especially when you have no family members to support you with this. I have been on the other side for many years when I was working in the office or when needing to travel back home. Whether you need dog walks, night care or full day care while away, I can be here for you to offer that top-notch support so your pets always feel loved and cared for in a warm and welcoming environment for them. My services include attentive pet sitting tailored to your pet's needs. From fun play sessions to relaxing walks, your dogs will receive the best care possible. With my experience and devotion, you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. If you're interested in personalized pet care and want to discuss your needs further, feel free to message me

About: I’ve looked after dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and have always been the person friends and family rely on when they need someone dependable to care for their pets. I currently have a 3-year-old cocker spaniel called Ozzy, so I understand the importance of routine, exercise, patience and giving dogs the right balance of attention and calm. I also regularly look after my mother-in-law’s 4-year-old lab, Max, which has given me experience caring for larger, energetic dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, play, overnight care and sticking closely to routines that help pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I know how important trust and communication are when leaving your pet with someone else, so I always aim to provide thoughtful, reliable care and regular updates throughout. I work from home, so my routine is very flexible and I can plan pet care around each dog’s needs. I’m available for dog walks and home visits on weekdays between 11:30am and 2pm, and I’m also available at any time on weekends. I’m happy to work around regular routines, whether that means a steady walk, a lunchtime check-in, feeding, playtime, or simply giving your pet some company while you’re out. For walks and visits, I focus on keeping pets safe, settled and cared for in their usual routine. I’ll follow any instructions closely, make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and give them attention, play or a calm walk depending on their needs. As a dog owner myself, I’m attentive to behaviour, exercise needs and giving dogs the right balance of play, structure and downtime. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality and any specific requirements so they receive care that feels familiar and consistent. I’ll always keep owners updated, so you know your pet has been looked after properly while you’re out.

Jess was fantastic when she came to walk our 2 dogs (a 6 year old Beagle and 3 year old Spaniel) for a 3 day period. We found Jess to be highly professional, reliable and consistent with great communication skills. She has a lovely calm demeaner and great skill at build trust with dogs. Our dogs felt comfortable with her immediately, which really put our minds at ease! Jess sent us regular ETA updates, provided us with daily feedback during after-walk handovers and, sent us some lovely pictures of her walks with the dogs. This really made the whole process run smoothly and feel safe and professional. We would highly recommend her as a dog walker and we have already rebooked her services. Thanks Jess you're a star. 🌟
