About: Hi, I’m Amy. Alongside my partner I have owned and run my own dog walking business Barking Pad for the past 5 years, both in the UK and over in sunny Australia! From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, Staffies to German Shepards, we’ve cared for them all - each one as much an adventure as the next. I am fully insured by Pet Business Insurance, which covers Public Liability, Loss of Keys, Animal Illness and Care Custody of up to 6 dogs per walk. Along with a cleared DBS check, I also have an OFQUAL Level 3 qualification in Canine First Aid and Emergency First Aid training, with having attended the Rachel Bean First Aid course. You’ll receive texts and photos with updates, and can even follow along on our social media pages too! A typical day will always start and end with lots of cuddles, with plenty of adventure in between! For dogs that love to make friends we have a lovely group of doggies just waiting to play with, and for those that enjoy their own space we always prioritise a nice solo adventure with lots to sniff and see. I always make sure to get as much detail from our owners as possible, to ensure their pets are as safe and happy as can be. With updates and pictures throughout their time to give owners full peace of mind.
“I would highly recommend Mia to anybody looking for someone to take care of their pets! My dog Dougall can be quite energetic and boisterous so I was really apprehensive when looking for someone to walk him when I returned to work full time. Mia’s calm and confident approach completely put my mind at ease and I knew from our first meet and greet that Dougall would be in safe hands with her. Mia is responsible, trustworthy and above all else a genuinely lovely person who clearly loves animals and enjoys taking care of those entrusted to her. Dougall is always so well looked after and so content when I get home from work and I can see from the regular updates I get that he’s had a really good, long walk which is exactly what he needs. I’m so happy we found Mia and I can’t thank her enough for everything she does!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up with my aunt, who worked as a dog sitter in her retirement, I learned early on how to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Over the years, I’ve dog-sat for friends and family, making sure every pet felt safe, loved, and at home while their owners were away. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every dog I look after like part of my own family. I currently work part time from home so I have plenty of time to play with your pups during the week! On certain weekends I am out of the house from 9am-5pm however we have a work from home family so there is always someone in the house to keep your pups occupied and give them toilet breaks! When caring for pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved — whether they’re in my home or their own. At my home, I have a secure fenced garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also live very close to a fully fenced field, which is perfect for walks, playtime, and exercise. I have a friendly dog who loves meeting new furry friends and is great at keeping them company. I always follow each owner’s routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walk times, and any special care instructions — to make sure every pet feels at home and well cared for.

Thank you for taking such good care of Scooby, he loves the long walks that you take him on and always looks so happy in the pictures. I appreciate the loving care and attention that you provide to my pup, it’s very comforting knowing he’s in good hands when I’m away 😊

Victoria answered my last minute need for a dog walker and went above and beyond for my puppy who needed the walks as well as my older dog who loves a bit of attention! She was quick to respond and always followed my requests which calmed my anxiety significantly! I could not recommend Victoria more!!

Nicola was fantastic with Bella, she was on time and very professional and put my mind at ease. Bella really enjoyed her walk and was excited to go with Nicola. The picture update was a nice touch as well. I will definitely use Nicola again and would recommend for others. Thanks Nicola
