About: Hi, I’m Jake and am new to Rover! From my time looking after friends and families pets and homes consistently for around 2 years, I have developed an affinity for caring for animals and am now interested in branching out to care for others during my remote working schedule. As I currently don’t have a rating on here, I kindly ask that you take time to check out my testimonials 🙂 I work a hybrid job, attending the office only part of the week, the rest of my time is spent remote working, allowing me to spend all day caring for pets. When caring for pets in their own home, I make it my priority to keep your pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine. When following feeding, exercise and care instructions from owners, I can ensure that your pets are safe and secure whilst away. During housesitting, homes are treated with respect, keeping the place clean and secure and providing regular updates.

In My Home: I maintain a clean, organized living space free of hazards, with secure areas designated specifically for pets. All doors, gates, and access points are monitored to prevent accidental escapes, and I provide appropriate supervision during indoor and outdoor activities. Pets are introduced to the environment gradually to ensure they feel calm, supported, and confident. In the Owner’s Home: I follow the owner’s established routines with precision, respecting their household rules and the pet’s familiar environment. I ensure doors, crates, feeding stations, and walk routes are managed exactly as instructed. I take care to maintain cleanliness, adhere to all safety protocols, and communicate promptly regarding any observations or concerns. Regardless of location, I prioritize clear communication, punctuality, and meticulous attention to detail. My goal is to ensure each pet receives consistent, reliable care in an environment that promotes both physical safety and emotional comfort, allowing owners to trust that their pet is in responsible and attentive hands.

About: I can’t have dogs or cats in the place im currently living so would love to be able to look after some. My parents dog has complex needs so i have experience with that I work 8.30-4.30 weekdays but finish at 2 on a Friday, from September i will be WFH one day a week. About: Hi! I’m Laura 😊 I’ve always loved dogs and have a French Bulldog called Gus, who keeps me on my toes! He’s energetic and loves his walks, so I’m very used to keeping an active dog entertained with plenty of exercise, playtime and attention. I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds and sizes, including brachycephalic breeds like French Bulldogs. I’m more than happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, training and any instructions you leave, so they feel comfortable and settled while you’re away. I have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of space for dogs to relax, play and get some fresh air. I’m also a teacher, which means I have lots of availability during school holidays, as well as some evenings and weekends. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat your dog like one of my own. Lots of love, walks, playtime and regular photo updates guaranteed! 🐶❤️ As a teacher, I have all school holidays free, which means I can completely work around your dog’s usual routine during those times. Whether they need early morning walks, lunchtime visits or evening cuddles, I’m happy to fit around what works best for them. During term time, I’m available on evenings and weekends for walks, drop-in visits and pet care. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and will only accept bookings that I know I can give my full attention to. I have a fully enclosed private garden, giving dogs a safe outdoor space to relax and enjoy some fresh air as well as easy access for toilet breaks. My own French Bulldog, Gus, is energetic and loves his walks, so I’m very used to giving dogs plenty of exercise, attention and playtime throughout the day. For dogs staying in my home, I’d need to know they’re comfortable around other dogs. Gus is very friendly, playful and still thinks he’s a puppy! He’s also good at listening when another dog lets him know they’ve had enough. I’d always arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable.

About: I've grown up around animals and have had pets in the house for as long as I can remember, so looking after someone else's dog or cat feels completely natural to me rather than like a job. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits for feeding, fresh water, litter trays and a bit of company, and overnight or house sitting when you're away. I work from home, which means I'm around during the day and pets in my care aren't left on their own for hours at a time. It also makes me genuinely flexible. I can take early mornings, evenings, weekends and short-notice bookings that other sitters often can't. What you can expect from me: I turn up when I say I will, I stick to your pet's normal routine rather than imposing my own, and I'll send photo updates so you can see how they're getting on. Happy to give medication, handle nervous or older animals gently, and take as long as you need over a meet-and-greet first so both you and your pet are comfortable before anything is booked. I work from home, so pet care fits into my day rather than around it. I can do early morning, midday and evening visits without rushing between them, and I'm available weekdays and weekends including short notice, the bookings people with fixed office hours have to turn down. For house sitting I stay at your place for the whole booking, so your pet keeps their normal routine, sleeps in their own bed and isn't left alone overnight. I'll agree exact visit times with you in advance and stick to them. I look after pets in your home only, I don't board animals at mine. That's deliberate: your pet never has to settle into a strange house or meet unfamiliar animals, which takes a lot of the stress out of you going away. In your home I follow your setup exactly: same feeding routine, same food, same rules about which rooms they're allowed in, doors locked and windows shut every time I leave. I'll ask you to walk me through it all at the meet-and-greet and I write it down rather than trusting my memory. Dogs go out on lead and harness unless you've told me otherwise. I treat your keys and alarm code as confidential and never share your address. You'll get a photo and a short update after every visit, so you always know what's happened. If anything concerns me, off their food, limping, just not themselves I'll tell you straight away and I'll have your vet's details to hand.

About: I have always had dogs in my life since being a young child. I have owned different breeds from smaller sized dogs to larger ones and know how to care for them even if there playful puppies or older dogs who need a slower pace and extra care. I currently work from home mon- Friday. (9-5) and can do any time after work. My days off are Saturdays and Sundays and will be free during that time. Your dog will be welcomed into a friendly, safe, and loving environment. We have one dog in the home who is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs, making it a great space for pets who enjoy company. Our home is calm and pet-friendly, with plenty of space inside for dogs to relax, nap, or play. We also have a large, fully fenced garden where your dog can safely enjoy the outdoors and burn off some energy under supervision.

We have lots of spare time during the summer holidays to provide care for your pets and are more than willing to accommodate any requests you may have. About: Hi, my name is Aamina, I don’t think there’s ever been a point in my life where I haven’t been surrounded by animals, I’m studying vet medicine at the university for Nottingham I am extremely passionate about animal welfare and care and have experience in handling and husbandry of all animals from cats, dogs, lizards and bunnies I have my own cat, Olive (the adorable-ist thing in my profile picture) and so I have a lot of experience with clearing litter, feeding appropriate portions and administering oral medicine.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13, been a very responsible owner and always cared for my pet’s wellbeing. No matter if it is my family dog, or my roommate’s cat, or a dog sitting request, I always pay full attention and care and love for our furry friends! I understand the struggle and the separation anxiety when it comes to dogs as my Dor Dor was a rescue and have lived a full and happy life before she went to doggy heaven. Having animal companions helps me stay active and joyous in caring for them, I love going on long walks and so it is quite a win win situation for you and me! I mainly work from home during the week, which is perfect for pets who requires more attention and separation anxiety as I can be in person and as attentive and caring as possible! Since I live by myself, there are no pets or roommates to surprise your dogs. My home is located right next to a huge park which is perfect for long walks or frequent walks!

“Hazel looked after my two cats for two weeks and did an absolutely excellent job! She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She even bought them some little toys, which they absolutely adore! When I got home, the cats were happy and relaxed, which was a clear sign that their routine had been followed and that they had experienced no stress while I was away. It’s reassuring to know they were in such caring and capable hands. Once again, Hazel has proved what a fantastic job she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and would happily have her look after my cats again!”

About: I am super loving and caring person and I adore animals. I have a four year old pug called fatty his my best friend we do everything together we go shopping, walking, and to coffee shops together. I grew up with many different animals from small to large dogs, cats, turtles, chinchillas, parrots, budgies, rabbits and even a snake! 👀 I have a nice size garden to let your pet out I always leave the garden door open when I am at home so my cat and dog have easy access to the garden. I am reliable, hard working and caring. I will take a real good care of your pet and give them whatever they need.
