About: I don’t have my own pets but I’ve dog and cat sitted for family, friends and neighbours. I’m a puppy yoga teacher and live close to a big park. I work from home so companionship would be lovely and tend to enjoy walks around parks so your pup will get plenty of love and attention as well as outdoor walks! I live in a flat by myself so no need to check with anyone else on if I can take a dog in. Preferred corgi size and smaller as it’s a small two bed flat. I usually log in around 7am but then I would be able to take pup out for a little walk before being back at my desk. A little lunch break stroll and then after work walk - weather permitting we can go for a walk in Heaton park and have a play there. I also live close to a small field where it’s a short walk away for quick lunchtime run. A doggy small enough to cuddle on my lap as I work too would be lovely. I have enough space for a crate in my flat if needed. I’m super careful when looking after other dogs to clear big things with them or google what they can and can’t eat. I have a car too so if I’m out and it’s a dog friendly place I’d be happy to take them with me.

I’m experienced with medication and post-op care, so I’m comfortable managing any health needs during visits. Growing up with Shih Tzus and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I learned early on how to handle different temperaments and grooming needs. ​Currently, I am a proud owner of a Frenchie, so I am very well-versed in the specific care required for brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, including monitoring their breathing and heat regulation. My schedule is very flexible; I am available for overnight boarding on weekends and can provide plenty of attention on weekdays after 2 pm. Because I work limited hours, your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will receive consistent walks, potty breaks, and playtime. Safety is my main concern. I have a secure, fenced-in garden where dogs can play safely. I own two friendly dogs who love making new friends, but I am also experienced in using crates or separate rooms if a guest dog needs their own space to decompress. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain a clean, hazard-free environment and always follow your specific feeding and emergency protocols to the letter.

Weekends are definitely preffered I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and happiest. I stick to their routine, give them loads of love, cuddles, and playtime. “I cannot recommend Megan enough! We needed a catsitter last minute after a friend could no longer help, for our two kittens who had not yet been left for long periods. Megan came for a visit to meet the girls and it was immediately clear she was perfect to look after them! Megan stayed with our girls in our spare room, playing with them, and giving them 5 star treatment throughout the day - which was so lovely to see with all the beautiful pictures and videos we recieved ❤️ The girls were so happy and relaxed, and we came home to them knowing just how much fun they'd had - we had regular updates and Megan just went above and beyond with her upkeep with the girls! Will most certainly be booking with Megan again in the future and can stand as a brilliant reference for her!”

Most of my weekly activities are flexible so I can spend as much or as little time as your pets needs. weekends are mostly for longer walks in different trails. I have a fully enclosed garden, luna mostly chills out there. Plenty of space to play too. I'm am early riser, so when its hot walks are early, in a nearby trail.
