I'm very hands on and regularly watch a spirited cockapoo each week and also regularly dog sit for the most energetic staffy I've ever met. I am local to Wigan and can drive to you and also use the car to explore new areas nearby that your dog might not have experienced yet! My flexibility in work shifts means that I can be available at variable hours so I'm happy to find a plan that works for you. “I would say Rocco is alot of work and needs the attention and long walks and Millie handled it really well. She sent updates with pictures and videos every day which made me feel at ease. About: Hi I love animals and for the last twenty years I have had the pleasure of sharing my life with cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, and fish. I have two rescue Greyhounds and have been volunteering for the Greyhound Trust and Home Run Hounds for 6 years. Prior to that I have volunteered for the RSPCA. I am currently completing an online course in dog behaviour and welfare. I have been a nurse for 30 years now working 9-5 Monday to Friday but with flexibility and my dream is to eventually work full time with animals. I'm currently working full time Monday - Friday (9-5) but there is plenty of time to help with animal care early morning, after 5pm and weekends. I volunteer at dog kennels 8-10.30am on Saturdays. I would not see fitting in animal care as a chore but instead a priveladge. Who doesn't love animal cuddles, obviously on their terms 🙂 My hope is to reduce my 9-5 nursing role and build up my animal care role. I have two rescue Greyhounds, one who is anxious and we are working on her reactivity which is through fear so at this time I am not offering home boarding however I am happy to come to you. Isla was so great with Harvey. She had him for a full week. She did lots of sensory play and tried new things with him, even bought him a cute toy which he loves. The pupdates every day were enormously reassuring and her patience with his reluctance to walk was superb. They bonded during our trip and we will have to get her back to play with him soon!
