Pet care experience

👋 ABOUT ME I have 3 years’ experience as a Veterinary Care Assistant, alongside extensive voluntary and personal experience caring for animals. I have provided dog and cat sitting services since 2020, initially for family and friends, before joining Rover as a sitter in 2022. I am experienced with dogs and cats of different ages, breeds and temperaments, including nervous and reactive animals. I also have personal experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters, including owning my own dog for 16 years. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and home. I will always care for your pets as if they were my own. ❤️ 🐾 Qualified in Dog First Aid 🐾 Fully insured for pet sitting 🐾 Training to become an Occupational Therapist, with relevant professional checks including DBS 📅 IMPORTANT INFORMATION I work in a school Monday to Friday during term time. During term time, house sitting is best suited to pets comfortable being left during the day or with suitable daytime arrangements. Your pet’s routine, needs and ability to be left alone will always be discussed before booking. I cannot accept puppies under 1 year old for overnight stays, as they usually require more supervision and routine care than I can provide alongside work commitments. 👋 MEET & GREET For new clients, I offer a meet and greet before booking. This gives us an opportunity to discuss your pet’s routine and needs and for me to meet them. It is optional but can help everyone feel comfortable. 📍 TRAVEL AREA I accept bookings within 15 miles of my home. Bookings near my workplace may also be considered, depending on my location and schedule. 🚗 MILEAGE House-sitting mileage is charged separately at 55p per mile. This includes travel to and from your property and any additional mileage required during the booking. As usual Jane took care of my two horrors. I am pretty sure they were upset when I reappeared today rather than Jane. I didn’t have to worry about them at all. I can’t recommend this lady enough!
