👋 ABOUT ME 3 years’ experience as a Veterinary Care Assistant, alongside voluntary and personal experience caring for animals. I have provided dog and cat sitting since 2020 – initially for family and friends, before joining Rover in 2022. Experienced with pets of different ages, breeds and temperaments, including nervous and reactive pets. 🐾 Qualified in Dog First Aid and fully insured. 🐾 I am also training to become an Occupational Therapist, with relevant professional checks including a DBS check. 📅 A FEW THINGS TO KNOW On weekdays, I work 8-hour days, so house sitting is best suited to pets comfortable being left during the day, or where suitable daytime arrangements are in place. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s routine, needs and how long they’re comfortable being left alone. I don’t accept puppies under 1 year for overnight stays, as they usually need more supervision and routine care than I can reliably provide around work. 👋 MEET & GREET For new clients, I offer an optional meet and greet before booking. This gives me a chance to meet your pet and allows us to go through their routine, needs and anything else that will help them feel settled. 📍 WHERE I COVER Based in Wigan, I accept bookings within 15 miles of my home. Bookings near my workplace may also be possible, depending on my location and schedule. 💷 ROVER SERVICE FEES Rover adds a 15% owner service fee at checkout (up to £49 per booking), shown separately from my listed prices. For non-recurring services, Rover also deducts a 15% sitter fee from my earnings. These fees support secure payments, customer support, Trust & Safety and the Rover Guarantee. 📅 HOLIDAY PERIODS Rover sets holiday periods for selected high-demand dates, including summer and Christmas/New Year. If a booking overlaps one of these periods, the holiday rate applies to the first pet for the whole booking. The dates are shown when booking. ❌ CANCELLATION POLICY I use Rover’s three-day cancellation policy. Full terms are shown before booking. 🏡 HOUSE SITTING / OVERNIGHT STAYS 🐱 CATS £25 per night for 1–2 cats Holiday rate: £30 per night for 1–2 cats Additional cats or more complex care may incur an extra charge, which will be agreed before booking. 🐶 DOGS £30 per night for 1 dog Holiday rate: £35 per night for 1 dog Additional dog walked at the same time: +£5 per night Additional dog requiring separate walks or additional care: +£10 per night Any additional charges will always be agreed before booking. 🔑 DROP-IN VISITS 30-minute visit - £12 1-hour visit - £18 Prices apply to dogs and cats. Visits must fit around my working hours. Additional pets may incur an extra charge if they require more complex care; this will be agreed before booking. 🚗 MILEAGE No mileage charge within 3 miles of my home. Beyond 3 miles, mileage is charged at 55p per mile for the additional distance, each way. Any extra house sitting mileage between the booking and my workplace (above my usual commute) is also charged at 55p per mile and agreed beforehand.
