About: 🐾 My profile: My last furry friend is a miniature schnauzer ( her name is Beyonce) who had lived up to 16 years old . In her old age, I had developed skills to take care of senior dog, including special diets and precise medication schedules. I provide the patience and vigilance senior pets deserve. On the other side, I also enjoyed having dogs at all ages. I take care of dogs for my friends, family and neighbours from time to time and it is always fascinating to have their company:) I’m looking forward to take care of and be friends with your lovely furry friends! Im currently working part time basis and my partner is working from home ,therefore we will be able to take care of your lovely fur friends the whole week! Just text me for any flexible schedule request ! I have a fenced garden for your pets, can also create a crate if your pet needs one. Would be able to take dogs for a walk outside park in the estate / walkable pathway along golf course nearby.

About: I have always been around dogs, whether that be my family dogs or friends/colleagues. I do a lot of dog sitting for colleagues when they go away so they are able to stay in the comfort of their own home. My love for dogs is huge and you wouldn’t regret leaving them in my care. I do work full time but from home so am able to ensure someone will always be around to take care of your fur baby. I will be sure to follow any routine & rules you have regarding your pets and my priority will be keeping them safe and comfortable. I will ensure they receive as much exercise as they require by walks and lots of playtime.
“Lucca had a lovely day with Michelle, it was the first time we have left her with anyone Michelle sent photos and Lucca looked very relaxed, she had cuddles and walks, and came home very happy.”

“Absolutely brilliant! Gorgeous family! I was very nervous as this was the first time leaving my dog but made both me and Albie feel very safe and comfortable, multiple pictures and updates throughout the day 😁. I will definitely be using again, thank you!!!”

“Wesley was fantastic, clearly cares a lot about the dogs he looks after. Took my puppy out early before it got too hot, regular communication throughout the day and she clearly enjoyed herself. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again ☺️”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a teen ager. I have house trained several along the way, and have experience with older dogs as well. I am retired after 52 years in financial services. My day is comprised of trips to the gym and the markets as I am the chef of the house. Until recently this included looking after Alice, our beloved Boston Terrier who passed away a few months ago at 15. I enjoy all aspects of dog care, and have had several dogs over the years including a Chow and a Shepard/Husky cross you I’m quite comfortable with any size dog. I live in a large house with a fenced back yard. I’m a short walk from several prime dog walking areas here in Bolton, and I also drive if a chosen location for your dog is required.

“Rupert had a great time and was well looked after. He had his walks, ate his meals and had plenty of play time. I was updated throughout the day with photos and videos. Rupert will definitely be coming back to stay. Thank you!☺️”

About: All-day supervision🏡 (work-from-home care) – constant presence, not drop-in only Kitten care🪀 – playtime, feeding routines, and safety monitoring Cat-proofed, clean home🧹 – preventing access to harmful items or unsafe areas Litter box maintenance🧽 – frequent cleaning to keep cats comfortable and healthy Behavior awareness👀 – noticing stress, appetite changes, or unusual behavior Safe separation of spaces👷 – keeping cats away from kitchens, bathrooms, and doors Enrichment & play🛝 – toys, interactive play, and mental stimulation Routine-focused care⏳ – feeding, play, and rest on a consistent schedule 🏠I specialize in caring for cats and kittens in a calm, clean, and safe home environment. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide constant supervision, playtime, and companionship. I’m experienced in maintaining clean litter boxes, keeping cats away from unsafe areas, and ensuring they have proper food, fresh litter, and engaging toys. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort so each cat feels relaxed and secure.🔐 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home five days a week. This allows me to be present throughout the day to feed, supervise, play, and check on cats regularly rather than leaving them alone for long periods.⏳ I structure my day around the cat’s needs, including regular feeding times, litter box cleaning, interactive play sessions, and quiet rest time. Since I’m home most of the time, I can quickly notice any changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort and respond right away👀 I care for pets by creating a calm, clean, and safe environment while following each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I make sure cats have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention throughout the day.🧹 🔐 Because I work from home, I’m able to provide frequent check-ins, supervision, and interactive playtime, as well as quiet companionship for cats who prefer a calmer presence. I keep my home cat-proofed by separating pets from the kitchen, bathroom, and front door to prevent accidents or unsafe access.🌿 🛝 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all instructions for feeding, litter cleaning, play, and any special needs. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort, keeping owners updated so they feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.💓

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
