About: All-day supervision🏡 (work-from-home care) – constant presence, not drop-in only Kitten care🪀 – playtime, feeding routines, and safety monitoring Cat-proofed, clean home🧹 – preventing access to harmful items or unsafe areas Litter box maintenance🧽 – frequent cleaning to keep cats comfortable and healthy Behavior awareness👀 – noticing stress, appetite changes, or unusual behavior Safe separation of spaces👷 – keeping cats away from kitchens, bathrooms, and doors Enrichment & play🛝 – toys, interactive play, and mental stimulation Routine-focused care⏳ – feeding, play, and rest on a consistent schedule 🏠I specialize in caring for cats and kittens in a calm, clean, and safe home environment. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide constant supervision, playtime, and companionship. I’m experienced in maintaining clean litter boxes, keeping cats away from unsafe areas, and ensuring they have proper food, fresh litter, and engaging toys. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort so each cat feels relaxed and secure.🔐 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home five days a week. This allows me to be present throughout the day to feed, supervise, play, and check on cats regularly rather than leaving them alone for long periods.⏳ I structure my day around the cat’s needs, including regular feeding times, litter box cleaning, interactive play sessions, and quiet rest time. Since I’m home most of the time, I can quickly notice any changes in behavior, appetite, or comfort and respond right away👀 I care for pets by creating a calm, clean, and safe environment while following each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I make sure cats have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention throughout the day.🧹 🔐 Because I work from home, I’m able to provide frequent check-ins, supervision, and interactive playtime, as well as quiet companionship for cats who prefer a calmer presence. I keep my home cat-proofed by separating pets from the kitchen, bathroom, and front door to prevent accidents or unsafe access.🌿 🛝 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all instructions for feeding, litter cleaning, play, and any special needs. I pay close attention to behavior and comfort, keeping owners updated so they feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.💓

About: I have looked after a wide range of animals for family and friends for most of my life. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and find it incredibly rewarding to care for them and ensure they are happy, safe, and well looked after. I have a friendly, well-socialised dog who loves to play and spend time with other dogs. He also enjoys being around cats, although they don't always share his enthusiasm! I I recently resigned from a high-pressure role to focus on improving my work-life balance and overall well-being. I believe there is no better way to do that than by spending time caring for animals, especially dogs. I genuinely enjoy being around them and find working with animals both rewarding and fulfilling. I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. I also have a friendly little dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and is well-socialised. In addition, I live close to several recreation parks and woodland areas, providing plenty of opportunities for enjoyable walks, exercise, and outdoor exploration.

About: About 20 years ago, our family got two miniature Schnauzers and I've been a dog lover ever since! Now that I've moved out and now live with my fiancee (Raissa, pictured) we miss having the company of dogs and before we get one of our own would like to trial having them in our lives on a more short term basis. We both work from home, so can have someone at home at all hours of the day. We have no children in the house and a secure garden. We have recent experience of looking after dogs for weeks at a time and know lots of good walks near our home too! Ideally looking for smaller hypoallergenic dogs, but would be open to other breeds. We both work full time for the same company with one office day required per week which we do on Weds and Thursday - so someone is always at home every week day. Generally we'd be able to take the dog out in the morning before work, at lunch, after work and evening if required. We have a back garden which is fenced and leads onto a quiet avenue. Generally keep dogs on lead until I can build up trust that it will come back on command. Will be cautious around other dogs without avoiding them and allowing social time when we've built up confidence. Love cuddles and playing in the house but won't allow dogs on the bed or the sofa without covers.
“Lovely people, looked after my Evie well and she had a doggie friend to play with all day too which made it easier knowing she was distracted whilst I was at work. Received some lovely pictures of her. Thank you for looking after her well.”

“Reggie had a great time with John and was really well looked after! He understood his needs! John had brilliant communication and kept us updated though out. Thank you so much for looking after Reggie!”
About: Hi! We’re Tee and Bradley, a dog-loving couple based in the North West. We recently lost our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after 16 wonderful years, and while we’re not ready for another dog of our own just yet, we’ve been caring for other people’s pups through Borrow My Doggy so have plenty of experience with looking after others dogs - not just our own! Due to the fact we’ve looked after our own older dog, we are used to medication routines, more gentle days however we’ve also got experience looking after puppies as young as six months so can help continue any training and keeping them occupied so they don’t chew all the furniture!! We have done days, weekends and even 10 day stays with these dogs and we truly care for them like they are our own - loved by our entire family and friends! We both work flexibly and spend a lot of time at home, so your dog will always get plenty of attention, cuddles, and company. We’re comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, from playful puppies to senior sweethearts, and treat every dog as if they’re our own. Whether you need day care, overnight stays, or just someone who truly gets how special your dog is, we’d love to help. 🐕💛 Both myself and my partner work from home, therefore one of us is always in - usually both of us! As we’ve had Lacey the entire time we’ve lived in our house, and I’d had her since I was 10, our lives are more than adapted to having a dog, we can fit numerous walks in, plenty of cuddle time and your dog has full roam of the place! We do go out - of course - but almost everywhere we go is dog friendly (including our gym!) so your pup will be with us! We can adapt around your pups schedule as we are fairly laid back, plus we have plenty of parents and grandparents who we go visiting with your pooch giving them even more love We have a lovely two bed terraced house which has a small enclosure garden space, however we are surrounded by farmers fields, forests and a canal! We also have a huge field right across the road so in between meetings I try to take the dogs for a runaround on there and then we’ll do a bigger walk around one of the many options we have! Depending on what your dog prefers we’ll decide where to take them - all of our walks are primarily off road. We have a ring camera inside our living room for if we ever did leave your dog alone (if this was agreed) which we’d be more than happy to share with yourselves for peace of mind - again we had this from when we had our elderly girl so we could always get back if she needed us We both adore dogs, they will get the most amount of love, all the dogs we look after I send daily updates to their owners, with pictures, what they’ve done that day and any other information if I feel they need to know (upset stomachs, etc) We know what it’s like to have to leave your dog and the worry, so we try to just give the best peace of mind, we’ll have a phone call before the dog sit so we can run through all of the needs of your dog and we also have a slight “template” of a doc (one we used for lacey) which we can send you to fill out with all the information!
“Sarah is absolutely lovely! It was both mine and my dog’s first time doing this and she was so accommodating and reassuring. Extremely helpful and within just one day, Daisy was excited to see her again! Will definitely be booking Sarah and her lovely home again. Thank you!”

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in North West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
