About: We are a retired couple, home all day every day so your dog will never be alone. We have 2 male cocker spaniels, Angus & Hamish, (neutered) who are 3 year old brothers and very friendly and playful with other dogs. We have a small garden, but go on walks to the local field or woods every day. We are dog lovers, with a relaxed attitude - dogs are allowed on the sofas, sleep in bed with us, and my lap is always available for cuddles. You are welcome to visit with your dog round for a brew and a play date to see if your dog is happy with us before booking We are retired, so we are available 24/7, 7 days a week. The only time our dog is ever left alone is for 1-2 hours every 2 weeks when we go grocery shopping. We take the dogs for walks every day to the field at the end of our street or the local woods We have a gated, fenced garden so your dog will be secure. We are dog lovers, with a relaxed attitude to pets in our home - dogs are allowed on the sofas, sleep in bed with us, and my lap is always available for cuddles

About: Hi, I’m Gabby! I’m 30 years old and a lifelong dog lover. I’ve grown up around dogs and I’m now the proud owner of my own cockapoo, Marley, who is 14 months old. Dogs are a huge part of my everyday life, and when I say my life revolves around them, it genuinely does! I love giving dogs the care, attention, exercise and affection they need to feel happy, relaxed and loved. Alongside caring for Marley, I regularly look after my dad’s two cockapoos (aged 14 months and 2 years old) when he’s working or away, as well as occasionally helping with my sister’s dog. I’m very comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once and understanding that every dog has their own personality, routine and individual needs. Marley is a very friendly, playful and sociable dog who loves meeting and spending time with other dogs. I do understand every dog is different, so I’ll always take the time to learn their personality, habits, exercise needs and any little quirks! My day with Marley usually involves plenty of outdoor time, with walks in the morning, afternoon, evening and a final walk later in the evening. Walks are typically around 30–40 minutes and include plenty of opportunities for sniffing, exploring, play and enrichment. Where appropriate and with your permission, I’m also happy to include safe off lead time in suitable areas. I have a large fenced garden which gives dogs plenty of space to relax, play and enjoy some fresh air throughout the day. As I work from home full time, your dog will have lots of company, attention and regular interaction rather than being left alone for long periods. I love being outdoors and spend a lot of my free time walking, hiking and exploring the countryside, so dogs who enjoy adventures will have lots of fun! Marley is also very friendly and sociable and loves having other dogs around, so your dog can enjoy the company of a canine friend if they are comfortable with that! Throughout the day there will be a balance of walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles and relaxing. I will keep the routine as normal as possible to the home life so they feel safe, happy and settled while they’re with me. About: My doggie died a few months back after 14 years , grown up around dogs & horses! Previous dog sitting & walking neighbourhood dogs! I have looked after dogs from puppies, to elderly dogs, it’s part of my nature and comes very naturally! I call myself the dog whisperer:) I am self employed, moved from London to Darwen. So I move my own schedule around and I find myself very bored most of the time. I feel a big gap in my life currently since my dog passed away, and would really love to get back into looking after dogs! I live in a 3 bedroom house, pretty much on my own. My partner works full time, 6 days a week. I have access to a lot of space , and a fenced garden. Easy access to beautiful countryside walks.

About: I have two very well trained and behaved dogs, Wispa and Mavis, and lifelong experience of dog ownership. I can accommodate all types of friendly dog into usual walks and I drive to a large enclosed field at least once daily, with a separate park walk too. Love dogs, enclosed garden, won't be left any longer than you feel comfortable. Your dogs will have their own room at night I work at home so I'm always around the house. Lunchtime walk nearby and a long evening off lead walk (if allowed) at an enclosed field is our routine, as my dogs have a lot of energy to burn off. Dogs have an enclosed back garden, and I have a large front garden too. Your dog will have its own room at night away from our dogs. Lots of attention and won't be left any longer than you say. I have two dogs, Wispa and Mavis, who I see all day working from home. I walk my dogs at least twice daily, lunchtime and evening, and they are seldom left. I have a car so drive out for a walk every evening in an enclosed space to throw a ball. I have always owned dogs and have experience with many breeds and sizes. My spare room will be your dog's in the evening for the stay, away from my dogs.

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. This includes puppy training, looking after blind/deaf dogs, group walks, bathing and administering medication. Additionally I have a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and a Canine First Aid qualification. I am currently available during the daytime (7.00 - 17.30 location depending) from Monday to Friday, rain or shine. No evenings or weekends for now. Your pet will be my sole focus as I don’t have any of my own dogs (or kids!) running around the house. My cat is ok with dogs but it is easy to keep them apart if needed as she spends most of her time exploring outside. I am happy to cater to your pet’s needs, whether that’s long off lead walks up to the Haslingden Halo, or just lots of cosy cuddles on the settee. Most importantly I am Canine Emergency First Aid trained, meaning your dog would be in very safe hands.

About: I have had pets in my family since I was very young, from playful puppies to loving seniors, small and large breeds, I love all dogs and treat them all with kindness and love. I have trained all of my dogs myself since I was 10 years old, your family dog will be in the best hands. I am fully self employed so I can pick and choose when and where I work, and work from home the majority of times. I have a loving and super energetic husky who requires a lot of exercise, plenty of walks and access to a secure back garden at any time. I treat all dogs as if they’re human, they are family after all. Dogs are allowed on furniture, have free reign of the house and back garden. They can sleep, rest and play wherever they like. I have a secure, fenced back garden which is kept locked at all times. The whole house is pet safe.

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: I love animals so much, since I could walk and talk, which led to adopting pets of my own, including cats, dogs and birds. I moved to Hong Kong for work in 2011, and volunteered for multiple rescues across Asia during my 10 year stint. This means that I'm especially good with anxious, nervous, and sick dogs. Since the pandemic, I have successfully completed over 30 housesits (platforms outside of Rover), with a 100% 5 ⭐️ star rating. I now have regular clients in London, Brighton, and Manchester. I have also done several Petsits in Europe and Asia. In terms of schedule, I work from home/coffee shops, and enjoy being out and about in nature, so pet time with me will include outdoor (parks etc.), playtime and tv/cuddle time indoors. I am friendly, caring and reliable, and your fur babies will be happy with me! As a fellow pet owner I understand the anxiety trusting a stranger can cause, so I like to send my clients photo updates once a day, probably more. Please make me aware of any camera recording devices as per the community guidelines. I will usually not accept the use of indoor recording devices during overnight sits for my personal privacy. **PET-SITTING REQUESTS** For overnight requests, please send me information about the house, sleeping arrangements, and local transport on your initial message.

About: We have taken care of dogs and cats since we were both in our teens, we are both animal lovers and will treat your animals like they are our own. We have have both owned a number of different breeds from small dogs such as Jack Russell’s to big dogs like huskies and we have a lot of experience with staffy’s. We have the best of both World as we do not currently live together so we can accommodate dogs that do not get on with other dogs as Ella can stay either of our homes. About: I have had a strong interest in all animals since being young. I regularly cared for family & neighbours pets from being a child. I now own four rabbits, a hamster, a turtle, fish and a 7 month old puppy named Ralph! About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child, I have had dogs all my life and started looking after other peoples pets at around 16, I have two of my own large rescue dogs that come with their own issues so I am well experienced with animals with nerves. I understand pets that are shy as I have looked after my aunties pets that struggle with anxiety and we have built a bond overtime. I have experience with slightly larger breeds such as male staffies and pit bulls as I have grown up with them since I was 7, I have also looked after puppies before (less than 1 years old, not less than a month old etc.) I am willing and capable to care of a young pup. I have looked after many cats and understand some are not as sociable, I am patient. I am no stranger to being nibbled by puppies and giving them extra play time / longer walks to tire them out, I also understand older dogs need a more relaxed approach. I have recently finished college and I have much more spare time, as such an animal enthusiast I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I wake up early and complete daily chores around the house and feeding / walking my own pets. I also sell online so I will often be posting parcels, I am 18 with a full driving licence and my own vehicle so transport is no issue! I am available all throughout the day. I have been trusted multiple times with peoples house keys and being able to let myself in / lock up their homes to watch over their pets. Our garden is fenced off and pretty decent space wise, we also have toys at home that have never been touched as our dog is not interested, we have a large crate if necessary and other dog beds, we have a guest room that can be used for your pet. We always have treats and multiple water bowls available. The back garden is safe and we do not take the dogs on the front garden unless they are on a lead.
