About: We are a retired couple, home all day every day so your dog will never be alone. We have 2 male cocker spaniels, Angus & Hamish, (neutered) who are 3 year old brothers and very friendly and playful with other dogs. We have a small garden, but go on walks to the local field or woods every day. We are dog lovers, with a relaxed attitude - dogs are allowed on the sofas, sleep in bed with us, and my lap is always available for cuddles. You are welcome to visit with your dog round for a brew and a play date to see if your dog is happy with us before booking We are retired, so we are available 24/7, 7 days a week. The only time our dog is ever left alone is for 1-2 hours every 2 weeks when we go grocery shopping. We take the dogs for walks every day to the field at the end of our street or the local woods We have a gated, fenced garden so your dog will be secure. We are dog lovers, with a relaxed attitude to pets in our home - dogs are allowed on the sofas, sleep in bed with us, and my lap is always available for cuddles

About: I provide calm, attentive and individualised care for dogs in a quiet home environment overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with easy access to larger walking areas including Witton Park and Billinge Woods. I have a background in occupational therapy studies, which has shaped the way I now approach dog care. I pay close attention to behaviour, routine, body language and individual needs rather than treating every dog the same way. Some dogs need more activity and engagement, others need a calmer and more predictable environment, and I adapt accordingly. As a child, and teenager, our family pet (a Jack Russell) gave me an early understanding of canine behaviour and communication. More recently, I have gained additional hands-on experience helping care for dogs with varying temperaments and energy levels. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also value structure and calm routines. Walks are purposeful and suited to the individual dog, and evenings are generally relaxed and settled to help dogs feel secure and comfortable away from home. At the moment I am taking time away from my studies, which means I have the flexibility and availability to dedicate proper time and attention to the dogs in my care rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. I offer home boarding, walks, and house sitting, and I aim to create an environment where dogs feel safe, understood and well looked after. For first bookings, I prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can understand your dog’s routine, behaviour and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and settled. At the moment I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention, regular walks and a calm home environment throughout the day. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also adapt to dogs who prefer a slower pace and more routine-based care. I live in a quiet area overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with access to larger parks and woodland walking routes nearby. I take a calm, observant and individual approach to dog care, paying close attention to behaviour, routine and comfort levels. I also arrange meet-and-greets before bookings to help make sure everyone feels comfortable and the environment is a good fit.

About: We’ve had dogs in our family all our lives and have had our own furry family member, Daphne, for the past four years. She’s a real bundle of energy, so we’re very used to keeping up with an active dog and adapting to different personalities and behaviours! We’ve been through dog training and behaviour courses ourselves and use the skills and techniques we’ve learned with Daphne every day. This has given us a good understanding of dog behaviour and how to provide calm, consistent and positive care. We also regularly look after dogs for friends and family and have done so for many years, so we’re very comfortable welcoming other dogs into our home, taking them on walks and helping them settle into a new environment. Most importantly, we treat every dog in our care like one of our own — with plenty of love, attention, patience and, of course, lots of walks and cuddles! I work from home, which means I have plenty of time throughout the day to give your dog the care, attention and playtime they deserve. Our days include morning, lunchtime and evening walks, along with a few sessions of training games and enrichment throughout the day. Your dog will be treated just like one of our own and will be welcomed into our usual routine, helping them feel settled, comfortable and at home. Of course, I’m more than happy to adapt their routine to match what they’re used to or what you feel works best for them. We’ll care for your pet as if they were one of our own. We absolutely adore our dog, so you can rest assured that your pet will receive the same love, attention and care that we give to ours. Our outdoor area is fully fenced and secured with a locked gate, giving your pet a safe and secure space to enjoy some fresh air. Our home is pet-friendly and set up with your dog’s safety in mind, with anything potentially harmful kept safely out of reach. We also have a Ring doorbell camera for additional security around the outside of the property. I’m usually always within sight or close by to our own dog, and I’ll provide the same level of supervision and attention to your pet. We want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family. For overnight stays, we’re more than happy to provide plenty of cuddles and even a spot on the bed if that’s what your dog is used to! If we have multiple dogs staying with us, we have a spacious, secure kitchen area where they can settle comfortably together, with our own pup to keep them company. We also have dog cameras set up in the kitchen so we can keep an eye on everyone when needed.

About: I have two very well trained and behaved dogs, Wispa and Mavis, and lifelong experience of dog ownership. I can accommodate all types of friendly dog into usual walks and I drive to a large enclosed field at least once daily, with a separate park walk too. Love dogs, enclosed garden, won't be left any longer than you feel comfortable. Your dogs will have their own room at night I work at home so I'm always around the house. Lunchtime walk nearby and a long evening off lead walk (if allowed) at an enclosed field is our routine, as my dogs have a lot of energy to burn off. Dogs have an enclosed back garden, and I have a large front garden too. Your dog will have its own room at night away from our dogs. Lots of attention and won't be left any longer than you say. I have two dogs, Wispa and Mavis, who I see all day working from home. I walk my dogs at least twice daily, lunchtime and evening, and they are seldom left. I have a car so drive out for a walk every evening in an enclosed space to throw a ball. I have always owned dogs and have experience with many breeds and sizes. My spare room will be your dog's in the evening for the stay, away from my dogs.

About: I have grown up with dogs, so I have spent my whole life caring for them. I also have a senior dog, so I have experience with care of all ages, from puppies to adults, hyper and calm. I am currently attending University online, so I will be at home more often than not! My house always has at least 1 person at home, so your pet will never be lonely. We have space for a crate if needed, and a senior dog who’s good with all dogs, so your animal will have a friend. We have a large fenced off garden and lots of space to roam, and animals are allowed on furniture.

About: I have had a strong interest in all animals since being young. I regularly cared for family & neighbours pets from being a child. I now own four rabbits, a hamster, a turtle, fish and a 7 month old puppy named Ralph! Happy to deal with any training and care needs as I regularly train my own puppy and administer medication for my rabbits. My partner Lewis and I have opposite shift work so there is always somebody available. Caring for animals is my passion and I will enjoy the company. We can work around your needs to make it work for you. Happy owner, happy pet! I have a fenced garden and a sociable and friendly dog, so your dog always has a play mate. I have a spare bedroom that includes a crate so we can create a safe space for your dog if needed. I have a field close by and if your dog is not great with recall we have long leads available so they can get the exercise they need. With guidance from you, I would be happy to help with training and socialising your dog to keep them in a routine as much as possible.

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: I have had pets in my family since I was very young, from playful puppies to loving seniors, small and large breeds, I love all dogs and treat them all with kindness and love. I have trained all of my dogs myself since I was 10 years old, your family dog will be in the best hands. I am fully self employed so I can pick and choose when and where I work, and work from home the majority of times. I have a loving and super energetic husky who requires a lot of exercise, plenty of walks and access to a secure back garden at any time. I treat all dogs as if they’re human, they are family after all. Dogs are allowed on furniture, have free reign of the house and back garden. They can sleep, rest and play wherever they like. I have a secure, fenced back garden which is kept locked at all times. The whole house is pet safe.

About: We have taken care of dogs and cats since we were both in our teens, we are both animal lovers and will treat your animals like they are our own. We have have both owned a number of different breeds from small dogs such as Jack Russell’s to big dogs like huskies and we have a lot of experience with staffy’s. We are both trained in basic doggie first aid and CPR as well as fully insured ⛑️ so you can rest assured your dogs are in safe hands. Pet sitting and walking is my full time job and my partner works part time so we are both available most of the time. We don’t walk on Sundays. I have a back tat that has high walls and a high fence. We have the best of both World as we do not currently live together so we can accommodate dogs that do not get on with other dogs as Ella can stay either of our homes. We are fully insured for Dog walking and pet sitting and we can provide the proof of this.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/ponies from a young age.All my friends and family rely on me to care for their fury friends. I love animals so much and I always put their needs first. Having had ponies and dogs from being a baby I have been brought up caring for animals and ensuring their needs are met. I have a flexible working from home job currently so can be on hand to look after your dogs whenever needed. Pet care is part of my daily life and I have 2 loving babies of my own. I have a fenced yard, and 10 acres to keep your pups busy. I treat my own dogs like they are family and they are allowed on the furniture, however if your dog isn’t used to this and is crate trained and sleeps in a bed this is something I can also provide.

About: I have taken care of dogs cats and other pets from a young age. I have walked, cleaned up mess, picked up poo and played with pets many times. I am confident that I can look after any pet. I don’t currently work so I have lots of free time to look after your pet. I’m free most days apart from a few hours between 11-3 on Wednesday. I am very flexible and happy to change my schedule at short notice. I live on the first floor and I have a shared garden with a fence. My flat is fairly spacious for its size. I’m happy to petsit in your home ,if required, and I will make sure you pet is looked after very well.

About: I will be working along side my mum - Catherine for some bookings. I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child, I have had dogs all my life and started looking after other peoples pets at around 16, I have two of my own large rescue dogs that come with their own issues so I am well experienced with animals with nerves. I understand pets that are shy as I have looked after my aunties pets that struggle with anxiety and we have built a bond overtime. I have experience with slightly larger breeds such as male staffies and pit bulls as I have grown up with them since I was 7, I have also looked after puppies before (less than 1 years old, not less than a month old etc.) I am willing and capable to care of a young pup. I have looked after many cats and understand some are not as sociable, I am patient. I am no stranger to being nibbled by puppies and giving them extra play time / longer walks to tire them out, I also understand older dogs need a more relaxed approach. I have recently finished college and I have much more spare time, as such an animal enthusiast I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I wake up early and complete daily chores around the house and feeding / walking my own pets. I also sell online so I will often be posting parcels, I am 18 with a full driving licence and my own vehicle so transport is no issue! I am available all throughout the day. I have been trusted multiple times with peoples house keys and being able to let myself in / lock up their homes to watch over their pets. Our garden is fenced off and pretty decent space wise, we also have toys at home that have never been touched as our dog is not interested, we have a large crate if necessary and other dog beds, we have a guest room that can be used for your pet. We always have treats and multiple water bowls available. The back garden is safe and we do not take the dogs on the front garden unless they are on a lead.
