About: I've been around dogs longer than I can remember, but my official experience started at Bleakholt doing the volunteer dog walking before eventually dogsitting. My expertise of canines lies mainly in senior dog care and bigger breeds, but does not exclude younger or smaller dogs. I can administer oral medication, and apply lots of affection to those who want it. I have a fenced in back garden for those dogs able to stay with me, I absolutely love dogs and look forward to meeting your furbabies! All new dogs will require one night of boarding before staying for longer than three days.(Please ensure you have filled out the summary and added a picture of your furbabies before contacting me, thank you!) If visiting your home, I'd need the times to work around school hours (unless of course it's the holidays), which would be after 8-9.15am for the morning, and 2.40-4pm for the afternoon. Anywhere between those times would work wonderfully during the week. If your dog is able to stay in my own home, the times don't apply. I have to be picky about which dogs are able to stay in my own home because I have two young children (1 year old and 6 year old). I do have a fenced back garden where they can go for space/to do their business, and if allowed I may take them to the local cafe for a puppychino. (This is a cream drink with dog biscuits mixed in.) If they can tolerate children but not for too long I can seperate them to the back of the house (a small room, the kitchen, and constant access to the outside fenced back garden.) There's always someone in the kitchen so your furbaby wouldn't be alone! As for if I'm visiting your home, I'm more than happy to follow any instructions you leave out. Whether your dog comes to mine or I go to yours, please do tell me about any quirks, fears, what they like and what they don't so everyone has a happy time. Note in February I am taking a dog first aid training course to ensure your babies are safest with me.

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. This includes puppy training, looking after blind/deaf dogs, group walks, bathing and administering medication. Additionally I have a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and a Canine First Aid qualification. I am currently available during the daytime (7.00 - 17.30 location depending) from Monday to Friday, rain or shine. No evenings or weekends for now. Your pet will be my sole focus as I don’t have any of my own dogs (or kids!) running around the house. My cat is ok with dogs but it is easy to keep them apart if needed as she spends most of her time exploring outside. I am happy to cater to your pet’s needs, whether that’s long off lead walks up to the Haslingden Halo, or just lots of cosy cuddles on the settee. Most importantly I am Canine Emergency First Aid trained, meaning your dog would be in very safe hands.

Chris was excellent with our 7 month old whippet puppy, Frank. Frank stayed for 5 hours and had a lovely walk in the park opposite Chris’ house and a play in his large garden. He also enjoyed the soft carpet and running up and down the stairs! Overall, couldn’t have asked for a better service provided by an obvious dog lover, 100% would recommend.

We left our two dogs today with Esther and her husband and cannot recommend them highly enough. They have been so helpful and patient with arranging everything and Layla and Poppy warmed to them immediately. We were a bit wary of leaving Poppy with anyone new as she can get anxious very easily but the pictures they sent to us showed how happy they both were. It was really good to get updates from them throughout the day.

About: Hi im charlie i have one little boy and a chihuhua named Elsie, i spend most of my free time caring for and fussing my furry little best friend Elsie.
Elsie loves an adventure, she will walk for miles and loves a challenge. Myself and Elsie know the town and surrounding areas very well and know many lovely walks.
My passion for dogs started with my grandmas sheepdogs, then grew when i got my own little forever friend 4 years ago. It has been such a pleasure seeing her grow and creating memories with her and i cant wait to do that with many other dogs. In my services I will provide, water, treats and dog biscuits for your dog. I have a few local parks which are dog friendly and also a massive playing field.. which enables me to let your dog of the lead and run free if you are comfortable with me doing this. When your pet stays over for some time or the night they would have their own comfortable bed with a blanket in the dining room. I have a decent size house with two big living area down stairs, one is a dining room and then a small kitchen on the end. My dog Elsie has free roam of the house at night time and she is welcome to come upstairs.
I have a secure enclosed yard at the end of the house where the dogs can go outside for the toilet, my Elsie prefers to go to the grass patch at the top of my street, I can take your dog there in the morning and throughout the day. There is a lovely park at the end of my street very suitable for dogs and a massive playing field a few streets up from that too, there I could let your dog off if we have built that trust and relationship between ourselves.
I live with my partner, my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. My partner loves animals and he's brilliant with our dog, he's always loved with dogs and I can assure you that your dog will be warm welcomed and made to feel at home. I am generally quite flexible with my time, I work part time and in my spare time I look after my 6 month old baby boy and my chihuahua Elsie. I am mostly available between the times 1:30-4:30 pm then available again 6:30- 8:30. I can take them with or without my chihuahua Elsie, it is totally your preference but she is friendly and probably wouldn't take much interest in your dog unless they are similar. I am comfortable administering medication, in forms like tablets or through a syringe. I am not medically trained but if it has instructions and is simple enough I would certainly have no issues doing it.
I know how important it is for you and your dog to trust and feel safe with your dog walker, so i would be willing to meet up with you first before my first inital walk with your dog. I have always been very good with dogs and It is my aim to make every furry friend feel happy, loved and cared for in my care.  I will keep you updated with plenty of pictures and videos, to keep you from missing your furry friend.

About: Since I can remember I’ve always been in a family that love pets! Since a young age I’ve always helped care for the pets in my family which as been cats, dogs and rabbits. My love for my own dog (labrador) and looking after other dogs in my family as motivated me to start caring for dogs in my spare time! I have currently been made redundant which means I have a lot of free time and availability to meet any care needs you may need. I live in a lovely area with a nice fenced off garden for your dog to run around and also a dog of my own. I am also close to a lot of nice dog walking spots. I am happy to care for you dog as you would at home whether you crate them or let them sleep in bed with you they will get the same treatment in my care.

Ayesha looked after our dog Bailey and was excellent. Bailey is normally nervous around other dogs and people but settled in quickly playing with Ayesha’s dog which was great to see. Ayesha always kept us updated with pictures and could tell Bailey was really happy. Ayesha even went the extra mile and kept Bailey for an extra day when our flight home got cancelled which we really appreciate. I would 100% recommend Ayesha and will be using her again. Thank you 😊

About: Hi, we are Nicky and Andrew and have grown up with dogs in the family. When we got married we were delighted to welcome Henry, our Chocolate Labrador into our lives. Henry was 3 months old when he came to live with us, and 12 years old when he ascended into dog heaven. Henry gave Nicky and I an incredible 12 years of memories, and we gave him the best life and a wonderful family to spend his life with. He was undoubtedly a best friend to us both and broke our hearts when his time came to leave us. We vowed not to have another dog of our own after Henry, but instead to look after the many dogs (all ages and sizes) of our friends and family, which we have done for the last four years. We have got used to individual personalities, idiosyncrasies, diets, sleeping preferences and other habits. Dogs come back to us again and again because they have so much fun and their owners know their dogs are safe, loved, and well looked after in our hands. Not to mention the three walks per day, treats, snuggles and tummy rubs which all come as standard. When we look after a dog it becomes central to our life and planning. Our weekends are built around walking and going to dog-friendly places such as cafe's and pubs - we never leave dogs on their own for long periods - the dog becomes an extension of us and our life. Nicky and Andrew are both professional people and passionate about providing a warm and loving home for dogs, who become a central part of our daily and weekly routines. Nicky works from home all week and will sometimes leave the house to attend meetings for a maximum of up to four hours. Andrew woks in a hybrid manner frequently spends part of the week working at home and some of the week away. Neither Nicky or Andrew work at the weekend or bank holidays. Between Friday until Monday both Andrew and Nicky are at home. We love to spend our weekends outside, walking, getting fresh-air and exercise. We do everything possible to provide a happy and relaxed experience for the dogs we look after. We have a detached house with a large secure garden at the rear. We don't mind muddy and wet dogs - in fact, if they are not muddy and wet they probably haven't had a proper walk! (we provide towels to dry off after play time). If your dog prefers to sleep upstairs or downstairs then that is fine with us. We just want your dog to be comfortable and reduce their anxiety. We have many long, country walks which start from our doorstep without having to drive. However, we also have many local parts which are a shirt drive away - Whittaker Park, Burrs Park and Townley Park which we regularly visit.
