She treated Maggie like she was her own dog, going above and beyond to make sure Maggie was as happy and as stress-free as she could be. “Marjorie and her husband were amazing and accommodating from the beginning. We were let down last minute to look after our boy and she took him on. With updates and pictures every day and spoiling Winston and including him in every day life. A great bond was formed between them. Since we have been home, we have had one sulking boy for the first day or two back as he thoroughly enjoyed his time there that much. A nice big house, back field and near by woodland that he enjoyed daily to tire him out. Two lovely people with an evident love of animals and dogs. Rest assured, your dog will be looked after and loved as if one of their pets. We could not recommend highly enough and will always look to have Winston stay there when we are away in future. He can be quite anxious and a bit reactive in new situations, so we were naturally quite nervous about leaving him — but both Mollie and Kean handled him really well. They took the time to let him settle in at his own pace, and it was really reassuring to hear that he relaxed quickly and even slept comfortably during his stay. “Chelsea and her family (including her Dog) have been a blessing. I have a boxer girl that we treat like family so leaving her to go on holiday was really difficult for us. The communication we got before and during allowed us to enjoy our holiday, which I feared I wouldnt. Maddie was really loved and had that much of a good time I worried slightly she'd want to stay 😂. About: Me and my partner Callum have both boarded dogs in our homes previously. We have both grown up with dogs and enjoy taking care of them and walking them. We are both caring, cautious and sensible and truly enjoy having the company of dogs. We have experience of smaller/medium size dogs. I am mostly available weekends but can accommodate some mid week care as my work schedule is flexible. I work Monday - Thursday so can do long weekends and short trips I have a fenced yard/garden. We love dogs with us on the furniture and are happy to follow owners routines. We are happy to keep dogs on leads whilst walking!

I could not recommend Claire highly enough! Claire made the dogs so welcome in her home. They went off on adventures with her and had a great time in the local countryside. Photos showed 2 safe, happy and contented little dogs. I would absolutely book Claire again to take care of Bismarck & Chutney.
Jemma is a lovely person who loves dogs. Molly had a few walks with Jemma and then a sleepover and she took to her really well. I was very happy to leave Molly with Jemma whilst we went away on holiday. She kept in touch sending photos and videos. She took great care of Molly and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone loving to look after their pet.
Mollie and Kean were the most amazing dog sitters! I’ve never left my dog, Walter, with anyone but close family before, so I was a little bit anxious… I absolutely did not need to worry! They met Walter before so he would be comfortable, I could instantly tell they were just lovely people. Mollie provided updates throughout Walters stay and I couldn’t have asked for anymore! This is our first time using someone outside of our family to look after our whippet and we couldn’t have asked for a better service! Constant updates with photos and videos of how he’s getting on which really put us at ease considering he’s quite a nervous dog. He settled in quickly and made himself right at home! Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
