“Marjorie and her husband were amazing and accommodating from the beginning. We were let down last minute to look after our boy and she took him on. With updates and pictures every day and spoiling Winston and including him in every day life. A great bond was formed between them. Since we have been home, we have had one sulking boy for the first day or two back as he thoroughly enjoyed his time there that much. A nice big house, back field and near by woodland that he enjoyed daily to tire him out. Two lovely people with an evident love of animals and dogs. We were very pleased with the way andrew and nikki looked after benji. They kept us informed throughout the weekend and sent lots of lovely pics .benji was convalescing from his surgery and I wouldn't hesitate to send benji boarding with andrew and nikki again they respected the plan of care for benji in order to aid a full recovery. We went to meet Rafael before Lola went to stay with her and had no scruples about entrusting our little dog with her. Rafael was very keen to know all about Lola’s routine and feeding. While we were away, Rafeal kept us up to date with our Lola with messages and photos everyday. When we picked her up after our holiday it was clear that Lola had been very carefully looked after, she met and got on well with Rafael’s children and pets. We would definitely be happy for Rafael to care Lola in the future.
Christopher was amazing with Alfie treated him like one of the family Sent updates via WhatsApp with videos and pictures of Alfies days whilst he was looking after him. Will be using Christopher again when needed. Thank you Christopher for taking so much care of Alfie.
Louise and her partner looked after my local French Bulldog, Lilly, for a week while I was away on holiday. Lilly had never stayed away from home before, but they treated her like their own and made her feel so welcome and comfortable. In fact, Lilly didn’t even want to leave when I came to pick her up! Absolutely brilliant with my boy! Would highly recommend Mollie and her boyfriend they were great at making Myko feel comfortable and taking him out and sending me pictures! He was so happy there and could tell he had enjoyed himself. They administered medication due to his poorly leg and were able to give Myko the care/walks he needed. My mind was totally at ease when he was with them. Thanks again for everything and the last minute booking! Myko would love to stay again!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
