About: I was a cat person until I started dating my now husband who took me on dates to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary to volunteer to walk the dogs. It was there that I learned that dogs personalities were so different and vibrant! Shortly after moving in together we got our own dog, a cocker spaniel who we called Islay (said like Isla but spelt like the Scottish Island and whisky). I trained her from 8 weeks old, going to weekly classes, setting up agility courses at home, teaching her useless commands like flipping cushions over with her nose! We lost Islay in August 2025 at 12 years old. One day we will get another dog but I'm not quite ready yet and I am waiting to see what 2026 brings for my career. I decided to join Rover so that I could be close to animals again, I truly miss their company, and to provide local owners with a reliable and loving option for pet care. I work part-time hours and start later in the afternoon so I am home when most people are normally at work, which makes me perfect for a dog walker! I have a fenced garden and have many wonderful walks from my house including safe places to let dogs off the lead. I can drive to pet owners homes a couple of times a day to check up of the furry family members.

Anita provided excellent care for our cat Luna, while we were on holiday. The information and photographs she sent were very reassuring and made our holiday better knowing she was well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend Anita to anyone looking for drop in visits for their pet.

About: I love animals so much, since I could walk and talk, which led to adopting pets of my own, including cats, dogs and birds. I moved to Asia for work in 2011 and volunteered for multiple rescues during my 10 year stint. This means that I'm especially good with anxious, nervous, and sick dogs. Since the pandemic, I‘ve gained regular clients in London, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester outside of Rover. I even take care of a tortoise sometimes! In terms of schedule, I work from home/coffee shops, and enjoy being out and about in nature, so pet time with me will include outdoor (parks etc.), playtime and tv/cuddle time indoors. I am friendly, caring and reliable, and your fur babies will be happy with me! As a fellow pet owner I understand the anxiety trusting a stranger can cause, so I like to send my clients photo updates once a day, probably more. Please make me aware of any camera recording devices as per the community guidelines. I will usually not accept the use of indoor recording devices during overnight sits for my personal privacy. **PET-SITTING REQUESTS** For overnight requests, please send me information about the house, sleeping arrangements, and local transport on your initial message.

We booked Minx and Lewis to take care of our boys whilst we were in Italy and they did a fantastic job again. Kept us very well updated with message and pictures, and gave Eli all his Asthma medications perfectly. Felt we were really able to relax whilst away. Best cat sitters we've ever had.

Zuzanna has been amazing from start to finish! She did a lovely introductory meet & greet, and my cat took to her straight away—it was clear she’s confident and comfortable around animals, especially cats. Throughout her time looking after my little one, she sent me loads of photos, which really put my mind at ease. It was so reassuring to know my cat was in such caring and capable hands. Highly recommend Zuzanna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind pet sitter!! 10/10 I will be booking again when the time comes 🐈‍⬛

About: I’ve cared for a wide range of animals over the years, from guinea pigs to cockatoos, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities and care needs. My own dog, Max, has been the biggest influence on my journey. He’s 10 now, and I truly can’t imagine life without him. Raising him has taught me so much about patience, consistency, and understanding a dog’s individual needs at every stage of life. Through Max and the many dogs he’s made friends with over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with socialization, basic training, and caring for both energetic pups and more senior dogs who need a gentler, attentive approach. I’m confident handling young dogs who are still learning boundaries, as well as older pets who may require extra patience, routine, and comfort. I treat every pet as if they were my own — with love, attention, and a focus on making them feel safe and happy while you’re away.

If you need help with any of these, please message. I am a qualified dog first aider and I have had experience with dog training also. The home: I am in 3 bedroom house with a fenced off yard and access to lots of lovely walks near by. My golden retriever will most likely be around but he is lovely and gets on very well with all dogs. He has been neutered and is fully trained I work from home 3 days a week and I work in the office twice a week. I can choose which days I work in the office, so I can very easily fit my schedule around you. I also only need to be in the office from 10am-3pm. I have my own dog, so my schedule is already very dog friendly, being flexible and home orientated. Your pet can either stay in a room on their own or they are more than welcome to stay in a room with my dog and/or me. I can change my schedule to fit your pups schedule. I drive and I have extra of most things such as dog bowls, dog beds, toys etc but please bring your own in order to make the stay as comfortable for your pup as possible.

About: Hi, I'm Siobhan, Mama to three littles, small business owner and fur baby fan. As we run our own business and home educate our children we have a certain level of flexibility. We love to travel, to see new places and to spend time outdoors. We are big animal lovers with a lot of love to give. Despite not having any of our own pets we love to spend time with your beautiful pets, caring for them as though they were our own. Personally I have worked for many years as a nanny, caring for homes, pets and of course, children. But as a family we also have a lot of experience as housesitters where we have cared for both a home and their dogs, cats, birds, chickens and fish both in the UK and overseas for upto a month at a time. We have fed, walked, bathed, taken pets to the vets and administered medication alongside meals. I have always loved animals and have had my own rabbits throughout childhood and as a young adult. Plus having previously been a teacher we have also taken care of the school guinea pigs, gerbils and chicks on many occasions in our own home. As I work from home I can be very flexible with pet care at a time to suit you and your fur babies as requested. I am available most days to look after your pet. I can fit in walks when you need and I am generally free for boarding most days of the week. As part of the booking I am more than happy to take on these duties: Feeding, Walking, Providing fresh water, Cleaning/clearing of waste, feeding & water bowls, Cleaning up after myself, Putting your post to a side, I will also ensure the safety of your home by locking up when I arrive & leave. If you have any other small animals that need taking care of, please don't hesitate to send me a request & ask. I am NOT limited to just looking after dogs. With your instruction I will be able to adapt to looking after another type of pet that I've never had experience with before. I can assure you I will treat your home, belongings & pets with respect. I firmly believe in treating people how you would like to be treated. Please do not hesitate to contact me to enquire and THANK YOU for taking the time out to read my profile. I look forward hearing from you & hopefully looking after your fur babies!

About: After getting our first family dog at the age of 11, I instantly became incredibly obsessed with all dogs. I am a self proclaimed golden retriever addict, and we now have 7 in my family, with just one being my own. My golden Georgie is 3 years old now and is my best friend. Having raised her from a pup I have plenty of experience with puppies, and training. Our eldest in the family in now 13 so I also have senior experience too, but this mostly consists of making sure to give her scratches in the spots she can no longer reach, and this is sure to make Tilly happy and get her foot stomping when you find the good spot 👌🏼. I know just how hard it is to leave your pet with someone you don’t trust or know, so wanted to offer my passion and service here for fellow dog obsessed pawrents 🩷 I currently work part-time at a cafe, and part time when I have time at home making jewellery. So I have plenty of flexibility to work with, although my shifts at the cafe are different every week so would just depend on when I am available that week. My shifts are typically only a max of 6 hours though, with some being only a couple of hours, so even on the days I’m working there is still time around them. I will care for your pet and home as I would my own, with patience, respect and kindness. Making sure your pet is safe and cared for is the most important thing, but also making sure your house is in the same condition you left it is also important to me. So no mucky foot prints, I would always aim to dry and clean up your dog where necessary.
