4. Zuzanna G.

“Zuzanna was absolutely incredible with our three cats – we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better! 💕 From the moment she came to meet them, we could see how gentle and kind she was, and all three took to her so quickly (which never usually happens!). While we were away, she sent us regular updates and the cutest photos that completely put our minds at ease. It was such a relief knowing they were in such loving hands. We came home to three very content kitties and a spotless house – she really went above and beyond. You can tell Zuzanna truly cares, and it meant the world to know our fur babies were so well looked after. We’d book her again in a heartbeat – she’s absolutely amazing! 🐾🐱💗”

7. Holly S.

“Holly looked after my cockapoo Chester with really short notice. She sent me pictures every day and kept me updated! .. Chester seems really chilled and happy … will definitely use Holly over a kennel in the future as kennels really stress Chester out and it takes him weeks to get back to normal. Thank you so much from both me and Chester x”

8. Robin R.
“Robin came to look after my cats while I was away and they did an amazing job! My eldest cat has a tablet everyday and I got plenty of updates on when she had taken it and how my other cats were doing with their food as well as within themselves which was really easing me as I hate being away from them! My cats absolutely love them now and I can’t recommend them enough!”

9. Clare J.
About: I have spent the last five years caring for and training my crazy Collie and have been a dedicated volunteer and trustee for PAWS Animal Rescue since 2021. I have experience in training, rescue, and pet care, and will take the best care of every furry friend. I have experience of walking dogs of all breeds ans sizes. I also have experience of looking after cats. I currently work from home so have plenty of opportunity to fit in home visits and walks. I have extra availability at the weekends and in the evenings. I have an enclosed yard with a 6ft wall. My house has floors over 3 levels to keep own pets separate from those that are boarding or staying over night.

10. Lydia S.
About: I, Lulu (Lydia), will be caring for your pets either by myself or with my partner, Eve. We have tons of experience caring for other people's pets and animals and have been consistently home and pet sitting for 4 years now! This year has proved how much we enjoy caring for animals and has made us very adaptable to different types of homes and pets. We have 14 5* reviews on other pet-sitting websites and can provide references and reviews if needed. Our pet-sitting experience has been in the UK and USA. Lulu - I grew up close to my family's farm and have had many pets. I love caring for animals, but we can't commit to having any of our own just yet as we are awaiting our green cards and plan to move to the US in a couple of years. My experience caring for animals includes feeding, walking + playing, cleaning up after them, occasionally administrating medication and, of course, loving them! Eve- I grew up with dogs and cats. I love spending time with animals, and my experience caring for them includes feeding, walking + playing, cleaning up after them, occasionally administrating medication and, of course, loving them too! Pet care fits in perfectly with our routine. I am a student studying at The Open University, so I am extremely flexible, and Eve works from home too. We have found that we always spend A LOT of time with the animals we care for and love it. Our lifestyle means we can be available any time/day and can stick to the owner's routine. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always our top priority. Our home is secure, with a fully enclosed yard for safe outdoor time. When we care for pets in their own homes, we stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. We’re very attentive to each pet’s individual needs, providing plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship. We’re also happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can feel fully at ease while you’re away - we know how much they’re missed! :)

11. Sean S.
About: I have had many dogs of varying breeds, some of which I have rescued & rehomed. I'm now retired & looking to help pet lovers out to meet their pet's requirements. I have also trained several pet's not just puppies, I have managed to calm fully grown or adult 'naughty' pets too. I'm an outdoors person so your 'best friend' will be well exercised. However, some of your 'fur babies' merely need company & now I am at home all day hats an easy requirement to fulfil. I have a large well fenced & secure rear garden & I live close to the countryside with open fields less than a couple of minutes walk from my front door, you're pet's needs will be very well catered for. Feel free to make a visit prior to booking your pet's stay, it's better for your pet to meet & see where they will be staying before merely just dropping them off. Kind regards, Sean I am an active person who has just recently retired, so I'm usually hoe all day, including the weekends. The only times that I will not be home is when I go shopping, to the gym or out walking If you book with me, I will ensure that any weekends away or holidays will be booked to suite pet's parents requirements. In my house your pet will have full run of the kitchen, hallway, stairs & 3 landings which are are fully open. My rear garden is quite large, with an area of 500m2 fully fenced & secure, with a good lawned area where the birds & squirrels like to play, but only if the garden is quiet.

12. Brogan H.
About: I previously had a Pomchi called Sandy who is now 2 years old, we got her from the young age of 9 weeks. From having Sandy, I’ve gained relevant experience in looking after a puppy/dog from puppy training, house training, walks & getting barking under control as much as possible. I also have had cats from a very young age (they live at my mums), I am an absolute animal lover & love taking care of pets, showing affection & love. I would take thorough care of any pet that comes into my care & it would be lovely for Sandy to have a friend as she is forever running around the house with new toys to play with! My dog loves having other pets round the house & so do we. I have a park just down the road where I regularly walk my dog, it’s a spacious park & a lovely walk for myself. Currently working Part Time with a maximum of 18.5 hours per week, I am available Thursday - Sunday full time at home but my dog stays at home Monday - Wednesday and I visit her on my dinner so she isn’t on her own for longer than 3 hours at a time. I have a fenced yard, my dog regularly spends time in the yard running around. At night time, Sandy has access to the living room & kitchen until bed time where she will then come upstairs and is welcome to sleep on the bed if she likes. This will be the same with any pet I look after. Plenty of time to play with your animals, I do work round the corner so can easily pop home on lunch too. I work 3 days a week so 4 days will be spent at home. I can provide a crate for your animal if you would prefer, they will be able to roam the house/yard freely and also can sleep where they like!

About: Experience: I am a dog owner myself with 2 years worth of dog sitting experience. I have been looking after pets for 15 years. These include: cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters. If you need help with any of these, please message. I am a qualified dog first aider and I have had experience with dog training also. The home: I am in 3 bedroom house with a fenced off yard and access to lots of lovely walks near by. My golden retriever will most likely be around but he is lovely and gets on very well with all dogs. He has been neutered and is fully trained I work from home 3 days a week and I work in the office twice a week. I can choose which days I work in the office, so I can very easily fit my schedule around you. I also only need to be in the office from 10am-3pm. I have my own dog, so my schedule is already very dog friendly, being flexible and home orientated. Your pet can either stay in a room on their own or they are more than welcome to stay in a room with my dog and/or me. I can change my schedule to fit your pups schedule. I drive and I have extra of most things such as dog bowls, dog beds, toys etc but please bring your own in order to make the stay as comfortable for your pup as possible.

14. Alice W.
“Alice really took care of my dalmatian Gonzo, while I've been away a few times. Alice is professional, warm, kind and enthusiastic from the get go. Gonzo adores her, ss do we and I cannot recommend her enough for dog sitting, walks, whatever you need. She is truly the best 🐕 ❤️”

15. Jason D.
“Jay has boarded my rescue parakeet and my 2 dogs - a big bull Lurcher and an anxious Podenco. He is fabulous with all of them. My pod is nervous of men and generally anything new! One walk with Jay and she has a new favourite uncle ❤️ she squeals when she sees him! Jay is super calm and laid back, and extremely experienced with dogs and their behaviour. The loving family environment Jay offers with Debs, Phoebe and not forgetting the lovely Gracie is just a perfect home from home. Jay also covers walks for me when my regular walkers are away - his walks are fun and interactive for the dogs, none of this boring walking around the block with Jay. Rizzo my rescue parakeet is spoiled! She rings her bell and demands uncle Jay cuddles her! She’s a right diva and I know she is always well looked after. Highly recommended!”

16. Thomas E.
About: I’ve look after a wide range of animals from guinea pigs the cockatoos. Max is my first dog and he changed my life, he’s 10 now and couldn’t see my life without him. He’s made many friends over the years. I have a part time job caring for my mother so am very flexible. Morning and afternoon are better but I can do some evenings if required. Am happy to help in anyway I can. I have a large field I play with Max in that is well fenced, and away from livestock. I’ll be happy to make your dog feel at home.

17. Shannah S.
“I would like to recommend Shannah as very responsible, kind and very considerate dog owner and cater. Dogs know intuitively they are in safe hands and respond so well to her attention and love for them. She understands their different needs and she is very aware of their individual requirements particularly if they have special needs such as epilepsy. She is able to determine very quickly their needs and responds very effectively to reassure them and care for them. I know they are in very good hands and would recommend every house with a dog should have a Shannah to care for them 💕💕🐶”

18. Rachael S.
About: After getting our first family dog at the age of 11, I instantly became incredibly obsessed with all dogs. I am a self proclaimed golden retriever addict, and we now have 7 in my family, with just one being my own. My golden Georgie is 3 years old now and is my best friend. Having raised her from a pup I have plenty of experience with puppies, and training. Our eldest in the family in now 13 so I also have senior experience too, but this mostly consists of making sure to give her scratches in the spots she can no longer reach, and this is sure to make Tilly happy and get her foot stomping when you find the good spot 👌🏼. I know just how hard it is to leave your pet with someone you don’t trust or know, so wanted to offer my passion and service here for fellow dog obsessed pawrents 🩷 I currently work part-time at a cafe, and part time when I have time at home making jewellery. So I have plenty of flexibility to work with, although my shifts at the cafe are different every week so would just depend on when I am available that week. My shifts are typically only a max of 6 hours though, with some being only a couple of hours, so even on the days I’m working there is still time around them. I will care for your pet and home as I would my own, with patience, respect and kindness. Making sure your pet is safe and cared for is the most important thing, but also making sure your house is in the same condition you left it is also important to me. So no mucky foot prints, I would always aim to dry and clean up your dog where necessary.

19. Jennifer T.
About: I love animals so much, since I could walk and talk, which led to adopting pets of my own, including cats, dogs and birds. I moved to Asia for work in 2011 and volunteered for multiple rescues during my 10 year stint. This means that I'm especially good with anxious, nervous, and sick dogs. Since the pandemic, I‘ve gained regular clients in London, Brighton, Bristol and Manchester outside of Rover. I even take care of a tortoise sometimes! **OVERNIGHT PET-SITTING** For overnight requests within the owners home, please send me information about the sitter sleeping arrangements with a picture if possible, and local transport options on your initial message. In terms of schedule, I work from home/coffee shops, and enjoy being out and about in nature, so pet time with me will include outdoor (parks etc.), playtime and tv/cuddle time indoors. Whilst I’m a homebody, I go about my daily life commitments (gym etc.) as usual, but never leave a pet alone for more than 2-3 hours. I am friendly, caring and reliable, and your fur babies will be happy with me! As a fellow pet owner I understand the anxiety trusting a stranger can cause, so I like to send my clients photo updates once a day, probably more. Please make me aware of any camera recording devices as per the community guidelines. I will usually not accept the use of indoor recording devices during overnight sits for my personal privacy. **PET-SITTING REQUESTS** For overnight requests, please send me information about the house, sleeping arrangements, and local transport on your initial message.

20. Sophie B.
“When we first got our family dog Rocky I thought my husband and I would end up doing all the walking and looking after but this is simply not the case. Sophie adores the dog walks him daily and takes her care role very seriously. Honestly he is her best friend and vice versa. She is a responsible adult who takes her work seriously. She is conscientious, organised, flexible and reliable.”
