About: Since 2018 myself and my family opened our home to dog sitting. I have done long and short stays including just for the day as well as dog walking too. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule, which allows me to balance time between home and the office. On days I work from home, I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including walks, feeding, and companionship. My schedule also allows me to plan ahead, so I can commit to regular visits or stays and ensure pets get consistent, reliable care during the week and on weekends. I provide care in the pet owner’s home, where pets feel most comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and a calm, safe atmosphere while maintaining the home respectfully. I’m also attentive to any changes in behaviour or health and will keep owners updated regularly for peace of mind. I also have experience handling a variety of dogs on the lead and am confident managing different behaviours during walks. I understand how to approach situations where a dog may feel nervous or unsure, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety while helping them feel at ease.

About: I've always had a deep love for animals and have spent most of my life around them. Growing up, I had a cat called Tigs who was very much a one person cat, and chose me as her human. I also had a beautiful Akita called Kimmy, who was absolutely huge but had the gentlest nature. Alongside them, I grew up with a parrot called Charlie, who I taught to whistle and sing songs from my favourite films. Charlie is still going strong today, living happily with my sister A few years ago, I regularly worked as a dog sitter and was fortunate to have a lot of repeat bookings from owners who trusted me with their pets. I eventually stopped due to work commitments, but I've always missed spending that time with animals and am excited to get back into it. Friends and family often joke that I'm a bit like Snow White or Dr Dolittle because animals seem to warm to me very quickly. I've always found that they respond well to my calm, gentle nature, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's personality, quirks and routines. Whether it's energetic dogs who love long walks or cats who just want a quiet companion, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and cared for. One thing people often comment on is how easily I seem to connect with animals that others find intimidating. Whether it's large dogs, geese, swans or nervous rescue animals, I've always found that patience, calmness and respect go a long way. Friends are often surprised when a supposedly grumpy animal ends up sitting beside me or accepting affection. My love of animals extends to all creatures, big and small. Even insects get carefully moved outside rather than harmed. I've never really believed that a creature's size determines its worth. One of my favourite memories was sitting outdoors when a wild bird landed beside me and started singing. I whistled a tune back and, to my amazement, it continued singing in response. We went back and forth for several minutes, and the bird stayed nearby the entire time. It might sound silly, but moments like that are a big part of why I love animals so much. There's something special about earning the trust of a creature that doesn't have to trust you at all. For me, looking after animals never feels like work. I genuinely love their company and treat every pet with the same kindness, patience and affection I'd want for my own. Pet care fits very naturally into my current routine. After many years working in financial services, I've recently taken a step back to focus on the next stage of my life, including volunteer work and preparing for a future career in child protection. As a result, I have more flexibility and availability than I've had in years. This means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the animals in my care, whether that's walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, administering routine care, or simply being present to keep them company. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets doesn't feel like something I have to fit into my schedule, it's something I actively want to make time for. My routine is currently very flexible, which allows me to adapt to a pet's individual needs and maintain the consistency and attention that animals thrive on. When caring for pets, whether in my own home or in a pet owner's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable and secure while maintaining the routines they're already familiar with. I know how important consistency is for animals, especially when they're away from their families. I previously provided pet sitting services through Rover and was fortunate to receive a lot of positive reviews and repeat bookings from owners who trusted me with their pets time and time again. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that account due to an old email address being closed, which is something I'm sad about, as I was very proud of the relationships and reputation I built there. One of the things owners appreciated most was that I followed instructions carefully and respected their preferences. All pets are different, and every owner has their own routines, rules and expectations too. Whether that's feeding schedules, medication, walking routes, training commands, sleeping arrangements or simply how their pet likes to be approached, I make a point of following those instructions exactly as requested. I also understand that inviting someone into your home or trusting them with a pet is a big responsibility and requires a lot of trust and communication. I treat both with the same respect I would expect from someone caring for my own animals. Clear communication, reliability and kindness are very important to me, and I always aim to give pet owners complete peace of mind while they're away.

About: I have owned cats for the majority of my life, as well as being surrounded with dogs of close family and friends! I have previously looked after cats and dogs for people while they have been away, both overnight and for daily visits (playtime, photo updates and cuddles included of course). I work part-time so I can be flexible with timings and days for scheduled visits -drop me a message and we can figure it out! Caring for pets goes beyond the necessities - it is care, affection and companionship (especially if they are anxious being away from you!). I am also happy to help with odd jobs while you are away such as watering plants or bin duty.

I was nervous at first as my cat tends to not like other people and has a little separation anxiety, however Zero was not only comfortable enough to sit in the same room as Alex, but also accepted treats too. I’m respectful of your home and I’m more than happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands I currently work five days a week in retail, but I always make time for pet care alongside this. I receive my work schedule around a month in advance, which allows me to plan bookings reliably. I’m often available mornings and evenings, and I sometimes have full weekends off. I’m happy to be flexible where possible to suit your pet’s routine and needs. I currently live in a three-bedroom flat with my flatmate and his male Siamese cat, Earl. The flat is calm and pet-friendly, with a small enclosed garden suitable for supervised play. There is plenty of comfortable space indoors, including quiet areas in the lounge or my bedroom, which is ideal for cats who prefer a settled environment.

About: Always been around with dogs and have taken care of different breeds. Have experience giving oral medication and lots of baths! Enjoy going on walks and always keeping them happy, playful and clean to end their days in a good mood. Moved from the Dominican Republic to purse my dream of becoming a psychologist, just finished college and I’m currently working part time as a Community Support Worker so I’m able to offer lots of flexibility and follow my clients needs and wants. Unfortunately, I had to leave my furry friend back home and taking care of yours will fulfill that lost while keeping them joyful and safe! I used to have a cat while living in my home country for +3 and I’ve always been surrounded by dogs throughout my life. About: I’m currently studying animal management in college therefore I have a deep understanding on animal husbandry and animals behaviours.Also during my college, I have done 200+hours at an animal shelter and dealing with different animals in college zoo park. Therefore I had provided extensive hands-on experience in animal handling and daily husbandry for a range of animals. I’m currently a full-time student so I’m only available on Fridays and weekends, 11am-3pm. 10am is also possible, please message me so we can discuss it under my work conditions. Looking forward to working with you! During visits I would give food/ snakes, give fresh water, outdoor break (in the garden) and relieve your fur baby if needed. Before our first walk, I always arrange a free meet and greet so your dog can get comfortable with me in a relaxed setting. During every walk, I send photo updates so you can see exactly how your dog is doing. After each visit I provide a detailed report card through the app. Your dog's safety is my top priority. I have a secure and calm home environment, and I never leave dogs unattended. I am experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including those with special needs, and I always take time to understand each dog's individual personality before and during every visit. I do not take on more dogs than I can properly care for — quality of care always comes before quantity. About: I’m a Spanish that moved to uk some time ago. At home we always had a cat with us, or even two. I love to spend time with my cats and I miss them. Every time I can I travel back to Spain to see my cats at my mom house. Now, we’ve got only one cat, Kitty, yes very obvious name, she is a beautiful black cat with green eyes, she has been with us for over 10 years now, I’ve even got a tattoo of her. She is still a very playful cat and everytime I go to visit the family we spend all the time playing.

About: Experience of fostering a Chow Chow of old age for two years before he sadly passed away. Mum Anita lives with us and has experience housesitting 4 different dogs for over two weeks each time. Partner Angie is a dog enthusiast, and had adopted and cared for two dogs in the past. I work hybrid while my partner works fully remote, meaning that we offer lots of flexibility. We are happy to help out throughout the week. I have a fenced backyard and a reception for your pets to stretch their legs. Not having any pets at the moment so worries about conflicts.

In my spare time I like to take my dog Tinkerbell to the Peak District, who is a small, loving and energetic Shih Tzu. I absolutely love spending time with dogs and I feel I can provide a loving and caring environment for any dog whilst their owners are away. Because of my experience growing up with animals, I completely understand that pets are part of the family and sometimes need more care and attention during times of separation. I work full-time in a work from home desk job. Whilst my hours are 9-5 I can be flexible. I generally work one day in the office but again this is something I would always try to be flexible with. I will always make time to give any cat or dog consistent attention throughout the day. I’m a very caring person and I make sure to prioritise food and toilet breaks for pets, as I can be flexible with my working hours.

About: My family has always had dogs and I loved growing up with a dog in the home. My husband and I now have a crazy cocker spaniel called Lola. We would all love to welcome more dogs into our home. We only accept crate trained dogs due to us having a house cat. Dogs will need to sleep in a crate overnight but otherwise will be able to freely go around the house and outside. Both my husband and I work from home with flexible working hours. We walk our spaniel a couple of times a day. Dogs would always have access to the garden. Our garden is enclosed and our dog Lola is very friendly and welcoming. Lola is crate trained and we have space for an additional crate.

“We were looking for someone to pop in and spend some time with our cat Pancetta as we were going away for a long weekend. Having never left her by herself overnight we were a bit nervous, but Mollie was fab. She came to visit the week before we went away and Pancetta took to her immediately! We got lots of pictures while we were gone and knew she was being well cared for and enjoying a good fuss. Mollie herself was super friendly and we'd be more than happy to book her again in the future!”
