About: Cats😺 I have been a proud cat mom for the past year and I adore my cat, Muffin. Before getting her, I spent a lot of time researching cat care to ensure that I could give her the best possible life. Since then I have continued learning and building my knowledge every day. I am particularly experienced with kittens and Ragdolls. I understand their personalities, needs, and how important routine, gentle handling, and attention are. Caring for my own cat has made me very attentive and detail-oriented when it comes to feeding, hygiene, playtime, and wellbeing. Dogs 🐶 I have grown up as a dog owner and caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I am experienced in daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, cuddles, and understanding each dog’s unique personality. I am very comfortable looking after dogs and I will go above and beyond to make pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both large and small breeds both younger and older. 💕 I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always follow each owner’s instructions closely and respect that every pet has their own routine, preferences and personality. I am more than happy to receive detailed instructions and I will never judge anyone for being particular about their pets care. As someone who is very specific about my own pets routine, I completely understand how important this is. I am happy to provide regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care, if preferred, so you can feel reassured and connected whilst you are away. I will treat your fur baby with the same level of care, patience, and affection as I do my own! I am a university student, however I have finished university until the next academic year, therefore I am very flexible with my availability to take excellent care of your pet! If there are any days you would like to book and it appears as unavailable on my schedule please feel free to message me and I will try to accommodate those dates for you :) Note: 3rd-14th August I will be unavailable during weekdays. I will still be available on weekends during this time. Thank You :) I am not currently offering services in my own home, however I will implement safety measures when taking care of your pet in your home. As an indoor-cat owner, I appreciate the importance of keeping indoor pets safe. I will always follow your instructions carefully when caring for your pet, and no matter their routine, preferences or lifestyle, indoor or outdoor, I will respect this and follow this carefully. I would always appreciate clear instructions and any emergency contacts (such as a vet or family member) for peace of mind.
About: Hi there! We’re Sofia & Julia, a young couple living in Salford. We both have plenty of experience looking after dogs (including puppies), and we’ve loved every minute of it. We’re really patient and reliable and we really really love pets, so we will make sure we love and care for your little ones as if they were ours! 🐾 We have a pretty flexible work schedule, and we will ensure one of us is off work when we look after your pet. Our goal is for them to have our full attention when they’re with us! We are pretty flexible in terms of dropping off and picking up times, and we’re definitely open to host your pet overnight, and/or for a few days at a time. We can ensure they would never be left alone and we would dedicate them all of our time. We live in a flat, but we have a fenced car park which has some grass areas for short toilet breaks. There is also a large park two minutes down the road for their walks. We have a spare room where the animal could have their own space if needed, either loose or in its kennel.

She took great care of them while we were away, making sure they were well fed, comfortable, and given plenty of attention. “Sofie has started drop ins with my rescue dog Rita, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Rita has always been super anxious with people coming in the house, but she already loves Sofie after a couple of visits. That's testament to Sofie's patience and how much she cares about dogs.”

About: I grew up on a farm where my parents were dog breeders, so caring for animals—puppies, seniors, and everything in between—has been part of my daily life since I was a kid. I’m comfortable with all breeds, energy levels, and special needs, whether it’s administering meds, handling training basics, or giving extra love to older pups. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I treat every pet like family! I work from home so I could take care of your pet during my hours. I am doing 10k steps daily so I would love to walk with your buddy to entertain each other hah. I do not have a dog, I was just a student who finished University last year so I surely would need your leash and all equipments required.

About: Since 2018 myself and my family opened our home to dog sitting. I have done long and short stays including just for the day as well as dog walking too. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule, which allows me to balance time between home and the office. On days I work from home, I’m available for pet care throughout the day, including walks, feeding, and companionship. My schedule also allows me to plan ahead, so I can commit to regular visits or stays and ensure pets get consistent, reliable care during the week and on weekends. I provide care in the pet owner’s home, where pets feel most comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and a calm, safe atmosphere while maintaining the home respectfully. I’m also attentive to any changes in behaviour or health and will keep owners updated regularly for peace of mind. I also have experience handling a variety of dogs on the lead and am confident managing different behaviours during walks. I understand how to approach situations where a dog may feel nervous or unsure, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety while helping them feel at ease.

She communicated really well throughout my whole trip and sent me lots of photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable knowing Storm was in such good hands. I would 100% recommend Kiran as a cat sitter and will definitely be using her again! 🐱💕

Rachel took excellent care of our elderly indoor cat Geoffrey. He was in great hands with her looking after him and she sent us regular updates with photos and videos. She was also kind enough to water our plants and put our bin out. We highly recommend Rachel as a pet sitter.

Laura was absolutely wonderful with our two cats. From the very beginning, her communication was excellent, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. She was really lovely with our boys and clearly cared about making sure they were happy and well looked after. Laura followed all of our instructions to the letter, including administering medicine to one of our boys, which we really appreciated. It was reassuring to know they were in such capable and caring hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura and would happily have her look after our cats again. Thank you, Laura, for taking such great care of our boys!

Highly recommend Michelle if you're looking for a car sitter. Very experienced, caring, reliable, trustworthy, & clearly enjoys the job. We were nervous leaving our 6m kitten Jupiter for the first time, but as soon as we met Michelle we knew she was the right person. Jupiter has loved his daily visits whilst we've been away 🙂.

Chloe was absolutely fantastic looking after our two cats. Her communication was brilliant throughout, with regular updates that really put us at ease. Even though our cats have slightly odd routines and instructions because they’re older, she followed everything perfectly. She was so gentle, kind, and patient with them, and it was clear how comfortable they felt in her care. We’d highly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
