About: Me and my partner Callum have both boarded dogs in our homes previously. We have both grown up with dogs and enjoy taking care of them and walking them. We are both caring, cautious and sensible and truly enjoy having the company of dogs. We have experience of smaller/medium size dogs. I am mostly available weekends but can accommodate some mid week care as my work schedule is flexible. I work Monday - Thursday so can do long weekends and short trips I have a fenced yard/garden. We love dogs with us on the furniture and are happy to follow owners routines. We are happy to keep dogs on leads whilst walking!

We had never left our 5yr old cockapoo, Alfie, with anyone other than family or close friends while we’ve been away so it was a struggle to find someone we could trust and who Alfie would take to, especially for a week. However, Alfie took to Jemma as if he’d known her all his life and settled in straightaway. I felt reassured he’d be well looked at our first meeting and had no worries at all while we were away. I have always been a “go-to” for friends needing a trusted hand with their pets. Abandoned as a kitten and hand-reared, she’s had her own battles (from a broken ankle to stress-induced cystitis), but she’s full of love and character. Living with both Olive and Rosie has given me first-hand experience of caring for animals with different personalities, quirks and needs. I’m a true animal lover through and through, I don’t eat meat, and I’ll go out of my way to help any animal in need. Over the years I’ve rescued everything from bats and toads to lost dogs and even ensured a deceased cat made it safely to a vet so their owners wouldn’t be left wondering. About: I've been around dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. As a teenager, our family always had 2–3 dogs of all sizes — from small breeds like Maltese to Cockapoos and bigger ones too. I regularly dog sat and helped care for them. As an adult, I’ve looked after a Rottweiler for 2 years and a Beagle for 4 years. I have plenty of experience training puppies to go potty outside, as well as teaching older dogs new tricks and good habits. I've recently moved into the area of Todmorden, I am very flexible with my availability and can look after any day and time as I plan to make this a full time business. I have a 2 bedroom house and a garden (I'm currently working on finishing it end of week to be fully closed off) and I live within 5 minute walk from the local park for regular walks if needed. I will respect anyone's home as if my own if needing a check in for food and toilet breaks if needed too.
