About: I was a cat person until I started dating my now husband who took me on dates to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary to volunteer to walk the dogs. It was there that I learned that dogs personalities were so different and vibrant! Shortly after moving in together we got our own dog, a cocker spaniel who we called Islay (said like Isla but spelt like the Scottish Island and whisky). I trained her from 8 weeks old, going to weekly classes, setting up agility courses at home, teaching her useless commands like flipping cushions over with her nose! We lost Islay in August 2025 at 12 years old. One day we will get another dog but I'm not quite ready yet and I am waiting to see what 2026 brings for my career. I decided to join Rover so that I could be close to animals again, I truly miss their company, and to provide local owners with a reliable and loving option for pet care. I work part-time hours and start later in the afternoon so I am home when most people are normally at work, which makes me perfect for a dog walker! I have a fenced garden and have many wonderful walks from my house including safe places to let dogs off the lead. I can drive to pet owners homes a couple of times a day to check up of the furry family members.

About: I’ve look after a wide range of animals from guinea pigs the cockatoos. Max is my first dog and he changed my life, he’s 10 now and couldn’t see my life without him. He’s made many friends over the years. I have a part time job caring for my mother so am very flexible. Morning and afternoon are better but I can do some evenings if required. Am happy to help in anyway I can. I have a large field I play with Max in that is well fenced, and away from livestock. I’ll be happy to make your dog feel at home.

About: Experience: I am a dog owner myself with 2 years worth of dog sitting experience. I have been looking after pets for 15 years. These include: cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters. If you need help with any of these, please message. I am a qualified dog first aider and I have had experience with dog training also. The home: I am in 3 bedroom house with a fenced off yard and access to lots of lovely walks near by. My golden retriever will most likely be around but he is lovely and gets on very well with all dogs. He has been neutered and is fully trained I work from home 3 days a week and I work in the office twice a week. I can choose which days I work in the office, so I can very easily fit my schedule around you. I also only need to be in the office from 10am-3pm. I have my own dog, so my schedule is already very dog friendly, being flexible and home orientated. Your pet can either stay in a room on their own or they are more than welcome to stay in a room with my dog and/or me. I can change my schedule to fit your pups schedule. I drive and I have extra of most things such as dog bowls, dog beds, toys etc but please bring your own in order to make the stay as comfortable for your pup as possible.

Anita made regular drop ins for us while we were away, sent updates every day with pictures and videos, made sure mochas food and water were stocked and have her some love. She even double checked with me when mocha started acting odd (she'd gone into heat) but made sure it was normal behaviour before leaving her. I began by dog-sitting for my neighbours or family members, which eventually spread to many more people who had heard about me through word of mouth. 8 years on I am now a Student at Norwich University of the Arts, who is looking to take up her passion again whilst back home for the summer! I have experience with both cats and dogs and understand that every animal has its own set routine and boundaries. I am good at taking instructions and will take the best care of your lovely pet as possible! About: Animals have always been at the heart of my life. I’ve grown up with cats and have always been a “go-to” for friends needing a trusted hand with their pets. For nearly a year I regularly walked a friend’s dog while she was at the office, which sparked my love for dog walking — the joy of being outdoors and the companionship of dogs quickly became something I cherished. Two years ago, I adopted Olive, my now 2-year-old dachshund, and she has completely transformed my life. Abandoned at just 9 weeks old, Olive had a tough start, but together we built a deep, unbreakable bond. She’s the reason I even chose my current home, with a huge garden and nature right on the doorstep. She’s my little soul mate, and I’ve poured so much love, patience and care into giving her the happiest life possible. I’m also a proud cat mum to Rosie — my sassy, hilarious feline queen. Abandoned as a kitten and hand-reared, she’s had her own battles (from a broken ankle to stress-induced cystitis), but she’s full of love and character. Living with both Olive and Rosie has given me first-hand experience of caring for animals with different personalities, quirks and needs. I’m a true animal lover through and through — I don’t eat meat, and I’ll go out of my way to help any animal in need. Over the years I’ve rescued everything from bats and toads to lost dogs and even ensured a deceased cat made it safely to a vet so their owners wouldn’t be left wondering. Whether it’s spending hours searching for a missing dog, stopping traffic to save one from danger, or simply providing everyday love and care, I treat every animal as if they were my own. About: I have looked after dogs all my life , have had two springer spaniels and currently own a 4 year 8 month old golden retriever. I am retired and I’m normally at home all day and night. Unless walking my golden retriever Douglas. Your dog will be made very welcome at our home. I have an enclosed back garden , and plenty of local walks .My golden retriever would enjoy some more company on his walks too, he is a big softie and gets on well with other dogs.

About: I am currently studying at university on Tuesdays 1-4 and Thursdays 9-12 however i would love to help anyone struggling with dog care. I am available pretty much everyday! I love looking after my dog called Rocky and would love to help out anyone struggling with theirs who maybe have to work and need some help! I have had my dog for 2 years and i helped look after my nans jack russell also i use to have 2 labradors when i was younger, so i am very fond of dogs! I am an early riser and walk many miles daily. About: I have been surrounded by every kind of dog since a very young age. I have taken care of numerous family, neighbours and friends dogs which include plenty of walks, playtime and feeding. My family has rescued our current dog who was unfortunately abused and bred to fight, luckily we got a hold of her before anything untoward happened. This taught me to be incredibly patient and kind working with her to gain her trust and now she’s the most loving and caring dog you’d ever meet. This has made me incredibly aware that unfortunately not every dog is blessed with a great start in life and I can understand why some dogs may be more timid or anxious than others, which is why I’d love a little chat beforehand to get to know more about your dog so I can really try cater to them and provide a calm and reassuring presence for them! I currently work part-time, but my hours are super flexible so I am confident we would be able to come up with a suitable time/ day that accommodates everyone. At the back of the house is a medium sized garden that is fenced off, allowing for a safe and playful environment for your dog !

About: A little bit about me - I’m a first time mum to my gorgeous little boy Henry and soon to be wife to Sam. We are all huge animal lovers so rest assured your pups will be so loved by all of us. Please don’t let Henry put you off booking with me, I would never put your pup or Henry in a dangerous situation. I would love to be able to walk your pups along side the pram but if that’s not possible I can arrange childcare. I’ve always been a massive animal lover. From an early age I was walking the neighbourhood dogs. I got my first dog at the age of 4, a lurcher called Bruce. He gave me the best memories growing up until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when I was 19. I have experience with puppies and training. To experience with golden oldies who just need to take life at a slower pace. I work set shifts two days a week so I have plenty of time on my hands to play with your pups. I’m available all day Saturday and after 11am on Sundays for walks and drop ins. I have a yard at the back of my property which leads to a bit of land, but because I live on a main road I use a lead for toilet breaks. I can crate your pups if that’s what you would like, you need to provide the crate.
