About: I’ve grown up around animals and have had dogs and cats throughout my life, including a Labrador and a Cocker Spaniel, both of whom I helped raise from puppies. I’ve also had cats of my own. Over the years, I’ve looked after lots of different dogs for friends and family, including Labradors, Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Saint Bernards and Bernese Mountain Dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of very different sizes, ages and personalities. I’m also a volunteer dog walker for a local dog charity and usually spend part of most weekends walking and spending time with the dogs there. I absolutely love animals and genuinely feel happiest with a dog around the house. I’m not in a position to commit to having my own dog at the moment, which is why dog sitting suits me so well. I get to enjoy having animals around while giving someone else the reassurance that their dog is being looked after by someone who genuinely loves having them there. I work from home the vast majority of the time, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. Because I’m home most of the day, pets would have plenty of company and wouldn’t be left alone for long periods. For dogs, a typical routine would usually include: * A morning walk * Another walk around lunchtime * An evening walk, depending on their usual routine and energy levels * Plenty of attention, company and cuddles throughout the day At weekends, I often go out for walks and generally have a fairly relaxed schedule, so any pet staying with me would very much be included in whatever I’m doing. My home is calm, quiet, child-free, pet-free and smoke-free, so it’s a lovely relaxed environment for pets to settle into. I have a fully secure yard for toilet breaks, as well as a park just five minutes from my home, so it’s very easy to get outside whenever needed. I’m very happy to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including: * Feeding times * Walks and toilet breaks * Sleeping arrangements * Any little habits that help them feel comfortable and at home If they normally sleep on the sofa, in the bedroom or even on the bed, that’s absolutely fine with me if their owner is happy with it. My main aim is to make any pet staying with me feel safe, relaxed, loved and genuinely at home.

We are also developing dedicated indoor and outdoor areas so dogs can have appropriate spaces for activity, rest and relaxation. We will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, walking, leads, routines, interaction with other dogs and any individual requirements. We never assume that because something is suitable for one dog it will be suitable for another. As we have dogs ourselves, introductions and compatibility are important to us. We want every dog in our care — including our own — to feel safe and comfortable. We are happy to discuss this fully and arrange an introduction before a stay where appropriate. About: I absolutely love cats and dogs and have over 10 years experience living with and taking care of them. My friends and family refer to me as the ‘cat whisperer’ and I'm known to befriend dogs at every opportunity. As I don't have pets of my own anymore, over the past few years I've started offering my petsitting services to a small number of friends and family members. About: I’ve taken care of dogs/ponies from a young age.All my friends and family rely on me to care for their fury friends. I love animals so much and I always put their needs first. Having had ponies and dogs from being a baby I have been brought up caring for animals and ensuring their needs are met. I have a flexible working from home job currently so can be on hand to look after your dogs whenever needed. Pet care is part of my daily life and I have 2 loving babies of my own. I have a fenced yard, and 10 acres to keep your pups busy. I treat my own dogs like they are family and they are allowed on the furniture, however if your dog isn’t used to this and is crate trained and sleeps in a bed this is something I can also provide.

About: Hiya my name is Jeff and im new to Rover, I’m a student currently studying computer engineering and it’s my first year, i grew up with a golden retriever called bernie that my dad bought for me when i was 5 years old and he recently passed away of old age and i miss him so much and i miss having a dog around me to cuddle so i decided to join rover to spend time with other peoples dogs and I'm comfortable giving medication and following feeding routines exactly as you set them out. My days are flexible, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. I'm home most of the days. I'm happy to work around your dog's usual routine, whether that's early starts, late feeds or set walk times Your dog's safety comes first. Dogs are always on a lead when we're out, and I never let them off in an unsecured area. At home, i have a secure garden and nothing harmful is left within reach. I only take one client's dog at a time and I have no other pets, so your dog gets my full attention. I know where the nearest emergency vet is, and if anything ever seems off I'll message you straight away. I'm always happy to do a meet and greet first so you and your dog can see the setup and make sure it feels right.
