“Vicky provides a first class service. Highly recommened. Thank-you Vicky.”

About: I’ve looked after animals most of my lifetime, mainly being brought up with cats (10+) and rabbits but being extremely fond of dogs. I have been using Rover for over two years now and have had multiple repeat owners, who have trust me to come to their home, stay or even keep a key to look after their pets. I’ve just started a new job wooo! Monday to Friday I work 9:00-5:30 however I can make my job flexible so something can be arranged through the week despite my calendar saying I’m not free. Weekends I’m mostly free unless I’ve made plans, so give me a quick message and we can sort something out😌 I have my own house and a back courtyard. I’m situated right next to fields and stream walks which makes it easy to keep distance from other dogs if necessary. I would provide the same attention to any pet as my own, regular water, feed, walk, toilet etc.

“Lucy is a fantastic sitter! She came and had a pre meeting with us first to help the first visit, which put our minds at ease. Bertie loved seeing her and playing whilst we were at work. The reports she gave us were very detailed and gave us a great insight into some of new puppies behaviours. We will be definitely be calling on her services again in the near future!”

About: I have had many dogs of varying breeds, some of which I have rescued & rehomed. I'm now retired & looking to help pet lovers out to meet their pet's requirements. I have also trained several pet's not just puppies, I have managed to calm fully grown or adult 'naughty' pets too. I'm an outdoors person so your 'best friend' will be well exercised. However, some of your 'fur babies' merely need company & now I am at home all day hats an easy requirement to fulfil. I have a large well fenced & secure rear garden & I live close to the countryside with open fields less than a couple of minutes walk from my front door, you're pet's needs will be very well catered for. Feel free to make a visit prior to booking your pet's stay, it's better for your pet to meet & see where they will be staying before merely just dropping them off. Kind regards, Sean I am an active person who has just recently retired, so I'm usually hoe all day, including the weekends. The only times that I will not be home is when I go shopping, to the gym or out walking If you book with me, I will ensure that any weekends away or holidays will be booked to suite pet's parents requirements. In my house your pet will have full run of the kitchen, hallway, stairs & 3 landings which are are fully open. My rear garden is quite large, with an area of 500m2 fully fenced & secure, with a good lawned area where the birds & squirrels like to play, but only if the garden is quiet.

Lulu - I grew up close to my family's farm and have had many pets. I love caring for animals, but we can't commit to having any of our own just yet as we are awaiting our green cards and plan to move to the US in a couple of years. My experience caring for animals includes feeding, walking + playing, cleaning up after them, occasionally administrating medication and, of course, loving them! Eve- I grew up with dogs and cats. I love spending time with animals, and my experience caring for them includes feeding, walking + playing, cleaning up after them, occasionally administrating medication and, of course, loving them too! “Presley is really clear in her communication and photos indicate her and my dog have happy times!”

About: Having grown up with dogs during both of our childhoods, to now owning our own 2 year old cockapoo in adulthood, we have both gained confidence when it comes to looking after dogs, recognising when they need something & most importantly being their best friend. I (Olivia) work a hybrid job and so this luckily allows me to work anywhere, therefore from Monday through to Friday I can be really flexible with either dog sitting externally or hosting dogs in my own home, I’m very easy going & flexible. We have a 2 year old cockapoo named Bonnie. She is the sweetest soul, ever so gentle & wouldn’t hurt a fly but most definitely loves a play & embraces her crazy Cockapoo self! She welcomes dogs like I’ve never seen before & is desperate to always make new doggy friends. We have a lovely home and welcome dogs in as our equal, we don’t mind having them on the sofas/chairs etc as long as they are well potty trained! We have a bespoke made dog house under the stairs in our kitchen that is super cosy & of course available for all our doggy guests 🐾🐶

About: Hi! I'm an experienced dog handler with two high-drive, working line German Shepherds of my own. I compete in dog sports and truly understand what it takes to meet the mental and physical needs of energetic, driven dogs. I'm confident with all breeds and temperaments, including reactive dogs, and I always take a patient, positive approach. Of course, I also love caring for dogs who are just happy, relaxed companions—every dog is welcome here! Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a slower-paced senior, I tailor my care to suit their individual needs. Your dog's wellbeing and happiness are my top priorities, and you can trust that they’ll be treated like one of my own. After recently closing my dog treat business, I knew my heart was still firmly in the world of dogs. Transitioning into dog walking and drop-in visits feels like the perfect next step, and I’m excited to offer my full commitment to this work. I spend a lot of time exploring the beautiful, quiet areas around us, and being able to share those walks with other people’s dogs is something I genuinely look forward to. We’re lucky to live in a place with so many peaceful spots, which is ideal for dogs who may be reactive or need a more low-stress environment. This isn’t just a side job, it’s what I want to do full-time. I’m unavailable Saturdays and Sundays, as that’s dedicated to training at my dog sport club with my own two dogs. Otherwise, I’m here and ready to give your dog the care, exercise, and attention they deserve. When caring for your dog, my approach is always tailored to their individual needs. For dogs that require extra focus, I incorporate positive reinforcement techniques like focus work using food, helping keep them engaged and reinforcing good behavior. If your dog is already working with a trainer, I’m happy to continue with any commands or behaviors they’re learning, ensuring consistency in their training. I’m also mindful of each dog’s energy level and preferences, offering walks in quiet, peaceful areas or, if needed, I can book a secure field for more controlled, off-leash time. We are lucky to have access to local, secure dog-only fields, perfect for dogs who need a little extra space to run and play safely. Whether your dog is social, reactive, or needs a quiet walk, I ensure they get the care, exercise, and mental stimulation they need in a safe, positive environment.

I’d treat your dog with care and as if he/she is my own - just like a member of the family as that’s exactly what dogs are! I work from home 3/4 days per week so fitting pet care into this will be easy! I try to get out for a walk most days so I can easily incorporate dog walks into my day, or dog sitting in my house! I enjoy chilled weekends after working all week so more often than not I am around on weekends with no plans so can happily look after a dog across weekends too! I work part-time at a cinema and my rota will come out every Tuesday but will usually have 3-4 days free of the week to take care of your buddy! I will update my availability every week to ensure enough time for everyone, I will take day of bookings as well if you are needing last minute help! “Jasmine was amazing, she took care of both of my dogs whilst I was away and they came back so happy, she was able to maintain my routine with them making it much easier for me when I got back! She sent me constant pictures whilst I was gone showing me what they’d gotten up to on their travels, I definitely would advise anyone else to book with her, very fair on price and seems to genuinely care about the welfare of my pups.”
