About: I've taken care, walked and basic trained dogs since I was 13. Currently I own a collie. I've always loved dogs and so would love to help in anyways possible to keep your pooches as happy as they can be. I've experience with dealing with reactive dogs and nervous dogs. Mornings walks Monday - Friday 9:30-2 Some Saturdays available. This works around me taking my daughter to school. Dog is never alone for more than 4 hours I have a fenced back garden and a calm dog who likes to relax in the evenings for company. Am able to store a crate in house if required/desired

About: I provide calm, attentive and individualised care for dogs in a quiet home environment overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with easy access to larger walking areas including Witton Park and Billinge Woods. My background is in occupational therapy studies, which has shaped the way I approach dog care. I pay close attention to behaviour, routine, body language and individual needs rather than treating every dog the same way. Some dogs need more activity and engagement, others need a calmer and more predictable environment, and I adapt accordingly. I grew up with Cass, a Jack Russell, from childhood into my teens, which gave me an early understanding of canine behaviour and communication. More recently, I have gained additional hands-on experience helping care for dogs with varying temperaments and energy levels. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also value structure and calm routines. Walks are purposeful and suited to the individual dog, and evenings are generally relaxed and settled to help dogs feel secure and comfortable away from home. At the moment I am taking time away from my studies, which means I have the flexibility and availability to dedicate proper time and attention to the dogs in my care rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. I offer home boarding, walks, and house sitting, and I aim to create an environment where dogs feel safe, understood and well looked after. For first bookings, I prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so I can understand your dog’s routine, behaviour and needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable and settled. At the moment I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention, regular walks and a calm home environment throughout the day. I enjoy walking, hiking and trail running, so active dogs are very welcome, but I also adapt to dogs who prefer a slower pace and more routine-based care. I live in a quiet area overlooking Corporation Park in Blackburn, with access to larger parks and woodland walking routes nearby. I take a calm, observant and individual approach to dog care, paying close attention to behaviour, routine and comfort levels. I also arrange meet-and-greets before bookings to help make sure everyone feels comfortable and the environment is a good fit.

“Louis did a fantastic job with our cat Pumpkin. He was responsive throughout the process and provided daily updates that were relevant and helpful. Louis was also flexible and was happy to do an extra visit when we were worried that Pumpkin was not eating enough. Furthermore, when Pumpkin made a mess, Louis took the initiative to clean it up as well. Louis arrived on time and notified us of any delays promptly. Louis fed and played with Pumpkin and also cleaned his litter well. We also felt that Louis was very comfortable and affectionate towards Pumpkin and it seems Pumpkin also took a liking to him! We will definitely book Louis again to look after our cat!”

About: I’ve been caring for others cats and dogs for a few years now but started walking and sitting over the last two years. Many in my village have trusted me to care for both their cats and dogs including household with both. I love animals and have been known to take great care of the animals in the owners absence. I’m currently a full time uni student with time to spare especially at weekends. However I have free time during the week to take your pet out for walks or toilet breaks. In owners homes I have put the pet in a crate over night and managed the areas the pet is allowed to go well. I take great care of your furry family members as well as the home. I’ve administered eye drops and medications along with food and breaks outside for your pets.

About: I have looked after so many of my family and friends dogs so I have plenty of experience with different sizes and temperaments of animals and am equipped to take care of them. I love dogs and thought this would be a great way to spend my time while at university away from my dogs at home. I’m currently a student at the University of Surrey doing paramedic science and am in Tuesday and Friday so have plenty of free time during the week. I take care of my dogs and for family members and friends taking them out for walks, feeding them and playing with them inside and out.

About: I grew up with Dobermans and love dogs. I had a border collie for 10 years and loved going out for long walks with him. I work odd hours so could potentially drop in to walk your dog, drop in to check on them and give them some fuss. I can follow any and all instructions given for your best pal to ensure they’re safe and well looked after. About: I've owned dogs for overs 10 yrs, and provided dog sitting services for other family members for various reasons from dog walks to calling into feed them. To looking after them in both mine and their own home whilst they've been on holiday. I have raised dogs from puppies so am aware of the different needs. Every dog has its own personality and as such I like to arrange a meet and greet prior to looking after your pet to ensure I am aware of all their needs and daily routine. I currently work from home full time so I am able to plan my time around the needs of your pet. I am also an active person who enjoys being outside so I am able to give your pet plenty of exercise if required. I am a calm natured person and have found that dogs do settle easily with me. If caring for a dog in their own home then I would just stick to their daily routine as I find that this keeps your pet content and settled. If caring for pets in my home, I have a fenced back garden that they will have access to. I also have the countryside on my doorstep so they will get plenty of good walks. I am also able to offer plenty of interaction too.

About: Thankyou for viewing my profile! I’m 20 years old, I have 2 years pet care experience that I completed at Myerscough college, however, I have owned pets, particularly dogs my whole life! It is my dream to set up my own dog walking business and be my own boss! I joined rover to earn a little bit of extra money for my family. I hold a full drivers license. Being a dog owner, I know they mean more to us then ‘just pets’. I assure you I will take care of your pet as my own and give them the best experience while they’re with me. I am currently unemployed, as I have a 1 year old daughter who is not yet in nursery. However, I have adequate childcare for her. I am fully flexible Monday-Friday for dog walking, dog sitting, drop ins etc. I have 2 dogs of my own, so your dog would need to be friendly with others, if you wanted to board your dog with me. I have an large enclosed yard, but this is stones/decking, not grass. I also have a young child, so your dog/s must be okay being around children. Preferably I would choose to pet sit/ board animals in the owners home. As the animal will be familiar with is surroundings, and this works better for me with my schedule. I am able to follow any instructions/ commands you leave me for your pet such as feeding times/walks etc.

About: I've grown up with dogs, and since 2007 have owned my own - I currently have four dogs (and five cats). I have worked as a dog walker for years, and have recently retrained to work as a Dog Training Advisor. I work full time as a self-employed Dog Training Advisor, Canine Behaviourist and Dog Walker. I am available to work Mon-Fri, but do offer some weekend drop-ins, walks and training sessions too. As a Dog Trainer, I take the time to find out about your dog - their likes, needs, age, health, abilities and any behavioural issues. Although I do offer multiple dog walks, this is only ever done after dogs have been assessed for temperament. Dogs are kept on-lead until engagement has been built up, and are never let off lead if it is your request not to do so.
