About: DBS checked, animal first aid certified and fully insured. I’ve spent the past year fully immersed in raising and training my own high-energy, working-line Labrador puppy. That experience has sparked a deep passion for working with dogs and understanding what makes them happy, safe, and fulfilled. One of the things I care about most is making sure dogs get what they need, not just a walk, but real engagement. I love using play, training games, and decompression walks, to give dogs both mental and physical stimulation, especially in ways that suit their breed and personality. Whether it’s satisfying a Labrador’s love of retrieving or helping a nervous pup feel secure and seen, I put thought into every interaction. While I’m still gaining experience, I’m reliable, observant, and I’m so passionate about providing the best service I can. I treat every dog in my care as I do my own: with love, respect, and so much enthusiasm. Pet care fits nicely into my weekly routine, and I’m currently available part-time on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. I keep a flexible schedule on those days, which allows me to give your dog the time and attention they deserve without rushing. While I’m starting with limited availability, I can be flexible when needed. Just reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate you! I’m excited to grow into this role at a pace that allows me to offer the highest quality care. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At home, we have securely fenced areas at both the front and back of the house, with a grassed space perfect for calm, on-lead playtime and games. Inside, our home is dog-friendly and thoughtfully set up with gated areas to keep pets safe and separate from things like children’s toys or anything that could cause stress or overstimulation. There’s also plenty of space for crates or beds, and I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine, whether that means crate time, free roaming, or something in between. We do have one resident dog: a friendly, 1-year-old female Labrador (currently unspayed), and a cat who is used to being around dogs. I always take introductions slowly and carefully to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I aim to create a calm, secure, and positive environment where they feel relaxed, respected, and happy.

About: I’ve been caring for others cats and dogs for a few years now but started walking and sitting over the last two years. Many in my village have trusted me to care for both their cats and dogs including household with both. I love animals and have been known to take great care of the animals in the owners absence. I’m currently a full time uni student with time to spare especially at weekends. However I have free time during the week to take your pet out for walks or toilet breaks. In owners homes I have put the pet in a crate over night and managed the areas the pet is allowed to go well. I take great care of your furry family members as well as the home.

About: I’ve grown up with Dobermans, so I’m very confident with larger dog breeds and their specific needs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience working in kennels and catteries, as well as providing house sitting and drop-in visits for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small pets, and birds. I’m both a dog and cat person, and I truly love caring for all animals. I also have three parrots of my own, so I’m very familiar with exotic pet care, including understanding their behaviours and routines. Academically, I hold a Level 3 Technical Diploma in Animal Management and recently graduated with a 2:1 in Wildlife Conservation with Zoo Biology, earning a First for my dissertation. Whether you have a playful puppy, or a senior pet needing extra TLC, I’ve got the knowledge, experience, and genuine passion to care for them like they’re my own. I fit Rover pet care around my work schedule and shifts. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your bookings and keep you updated on my availability. I will follow the requirements that are given to me by the owner. I am passionate in pet care so will deliver the utmost high quality care and love to pets. I studied animal behaviour in college and have had hands on experience with this so I am knowledgeable in reading behaviour of dogs, cats, etcetera, so I am very vigilant.

About: What I offer is a home from home for your pet so that the experience isn’t overwhelming but calming for your dog whilst you’re away. I’ve over 7 years experience with various small dog breeds and have 2 well behaved and good natured dogs of my own and have cared for one litter of Royal Frenchel puppies from birth. I’m a very caring dog owner who would love to give your dog a loving and comfortable stay for as long as you need. I’m flexible and will tailor my services to your needs, 121 dog walking or group but always to a maximum of 4. I don’t believe in walking too many dogs at once, the experience for them just isn’t as good.I’ve got some fantastic nature walk routes 4-7km right on my doorstep and plenty of indoor and outdoor enclosed space for them to roam and play freely or the option to have their own area plus lots of cuddles and attention to keep them calm and relaxed. The main aim is that your dog is happy and free from stress when they’re returned to you. Caring for animals gives me job satisfaction. Get in touch, I’d be happy to help. Can arrange for local grooming during the stay for an additional cost of approx £30 Pet care is all I do so I’m 100% available and hands on during their stay with close supervision most of the time for your peace of mind I have a walled garden, totally secure. I can also crate your dog at night if preferred and would completely seperate dogs who don’t get on.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life—growing up with cats taught me patience and affection, and raising my dog from a puppy through ten wonderful years gave me hands-on experience with training, care, and all the little things that help pets feel safe and loved. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members, and I’m here to provide that same love and attention while you’re away. As a stay-at-home homebody, my schedule is super flexible, which makes it easy for me to care for pets throughout the day. That said, I do travel often, so advance notice is always appreciated to make sure I’m available. I do my best to accommodate, but a little heads-up helps keep everything running smoothly for everyone—especially your pets! Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I live in a mid-terrace home that’s cozy and well-suited for smaller dogs who feel more comfortable in a calm, contained space. The house has a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time, and there’s a front vestibule for added safety when coming and going. While my street is semi-busy (not a main road), it’s important that I’m made aware of any behavioural concerns—like recall issues or door-dashing—so I can take extra precautions. There is a secure gate out front, but the wall is on the lower side, so knowing your pet’s habits in advance really helps ensure everyone stays safe and happy.

About: Lifelong dedication to caring for cats and dogs, backed by extensive personal experience. Having been a cat owner until recently when I sadly lost my cat Billie, I understand the needs and behaviors of feline companions. Regularly house-sitting for friends and family has honed my skills in providing attentive and reliable care. Moreover, my track record includes successfully retraining older stray cats for happier, more sociable lives, and assisting with the litter training and feeding of multiple young puppies. I also regularly volunteer for my local RSPCA branch. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my weekly routine. Working full-time as a hybrid project manager affords me the flexibility to work from home three to four days a week, enabling me to provide attentive care to pets throughout the day. With a full clean driving license and no major commitments, I can easily accommodate pet sitting appointments and ensure that each pet receives the care and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or a pet owner's home, safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are my top priorities. In my Mellor home, I have a large house with plenty of space for pets to roam and play. While we have a spacious garden, I am vigilant about supervising pets to ensure their safety, especially considering the adjacent road. Rest assured, I never leave a pet unsupervised in the garden. I maintain a clean and hygienic environment, free from hazards, to keep pets safe and healthy while providing plenty of love and attention.

Lu was wonderful. She came in every day and took our anxious little dog for a walk or just played with him when he didn’t want to go out. Lu respected his fears without pushing him to do anything he was anxious of, and gave him lots of fuss and love. Will absolutely use Lu again.

Plenty of cuddles and walks 😃 I’m currently working odd and intermittent hours so may be able to work around your schedule. Drop me a line and we can talk about it :) I hold an advanced DBS check on the update service and take security of your property very seriously. Having had ponies and dogs from being a baby I have been brought up caring for animals and ensuring their needs are met. I have a flexible working from home job currently so can be on hand to look after your dogs whenever needed. Pet care is part of my daily life and I have 2 loving babies of my own. I have a fenced yard, and 10 acres to keep your pups busy. About: Thankyou for viewing my profile! I’m 20 years old, I have 2 years pet care experience that I completed at Myerscough college, however, I have owned pets, particularly dogs my whole life! It is my dream to set up my own dog walking business and be my own boss! I joined rover to earn a little bit of extra money for my family. I hold a full drivers license. Being a dog owner, I know they mean more to us then ‘just pets’. I assure you I will take care of your pet as my own and give them the best experience while they’re with me. I am currently unemployed, as I have a 1 year old daughter who is not yet in nursery. However, I have adequate childcare for her. I am fully flexible Monday-Friday for dog walking, dog sitting, drop ins etc. I have 2 dogs of my own, so your dog would need to be friendly with others, if you wanted to board your dog with me. I have an large enclosed yard, but this is stones/decking, not grass. I also have a young child, so your dog/s must be okay being around children. Preferably I would choose to pet sit/ board animals in the owners home. As the animal will be familiar with is surroundings, and this works better for me with my schedule. I am able to follow any instructions/ commands you leave me for your pet such as feeding times/walks etc.

Looked after my cat Casper when I was away and provided me with constant updates. Felt very calm the whole week that he was being well looked after and she genuinely cared about his wellbeing. Couldn’t recommend more.

Lu was wonderful. She came in every day and took our anxious little dog for a walk or just played with him when he didn’t want to go out. Lu respected his fears without pushing him to do anything he was anxious of, and gave him lots of fuss and love. Will absolutely use Lu again.

About: I grew up with Dobermans and love dogs. I had a border collie for 10 years and loved going out for long walks with him. I work odd hours so could potentially drop in to walk your dog, drop in to check on them and give them some fuss. I can follow any and all instructions given for your best pal to ensure they’re safe and well looked after. Plenty of cuddles and walks 😃 I’m currently working odd and intermittent hours so may be able to work around your schedule. Drop me a line and we can talk about it :) I hold an advanced DBS check on the update service and take security of your property very seriously. I am happy to follow all instructions about your dog if dropping in to walk/check on them

Rose is responsible, caring and loving. She has a rescue dog from Hungary who is sweet, gentle and easy going through Rose’s hard work with her. She also has a spaniel who is easy going non-confrontational with all dogs. She is based is a lovely area with fantastic walks and she always puts her dogs first. Rose is knowledgeable about keeping dogs healthy and happy. She is even great with dogs that have issues and has has looked after a nervous dog with the same care and calmness that she shows to all dogs. I would recommend Rose to anyone who wants someone they can trust to walk or look after their dog as well as they do it themselves.
