1. Elena H.

“Elena has been absolutely amazing with our little dog Bubbles. We left Bubbles with Elena in her home for the week whilst my husband and I got married abroad. Elena kept us up to date and sent us lots of photos and videos of Bubbles. She has been clearly well looked after and when we went to pick her up, we could see how happy she has been staying with Elena. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and we cannot thank Elena enough for all of her love and care of Bubbles! We’re sure that Bubbles will be back in the future! ☺️”

2. Marjorie H.

“Marjorie and her husband were amazing and accommodating from the beginning. We were let down last minute to look after our boy and she took him on. With updates and pictures every day and spoiling Winston and including him in every day life. A great bond was formed between them. Since we have been home, we have had one sulking boy for the first day or two back as he thoroughly enjoyed his time there that much. A nice big house, back field and near by woodland that he enjoyed daily to tire him out. Two lovely people with an evident love of animals and dogs. Rest assured, your dog will be looked after and loved as if one of their pets. We could not recommend highly enough and will always look to have Winston stay there when we are away in future. Thank you both so much”

3. Mark H.

“Daphne has now stayed with Mark and Phoebe a few times and she just loves her time there - especially getting to run around with her bestie Dug. She's a very attached little dog, but barely even glances back at me once we're at their house! We couldn't ask for better care for Daff, and it gives real peace of mind knowing that we have the best sitters near by.”

4. Ms susan ann S.

“Teddy had a perfect stay with Susan who lives in a lovely park home right near Cuerden valley park. He had lots of secured outdoor space to play. I will definitely use her again. Teddy loved her and has been treated exceptionally well. She has certainly put my mind at rest. Such a nice lady!”

5. Emma V.
“Emma has often looked after my Border Collie dog and always lovingly shown him great care in giving him plenty of the fun and exercise that he needs. I would have no hesitation in recommending her as a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter.”

6. Christopher H.

“Chris is absolutely amazing. He looked after Mabel our greyhound for 16 nights, and she really didnt want to come home so that says it all. He sent video and pic updates daily and i fully relaxed into our holiday from day one. Cannot recommend Chris highly enough...big thanks from all the family.”

About: Growing up our house was home to a number of different breeds of dogs that we loved and cared for very much. I've had a good exposure to varying temperaments and behaviours. Currently I'm a med student who attends university in Manchester two days a week and the rest of my time is spent at home studying. At home there is plenty of dedicated space for pets to roam and relax inside. Not much of a garden but the local park is just around the corner.

9. Catriona H.
About: I have grown up with dogs since I can remember. The dogs I have had throughout my life have always been medium or large breed dogs but I have looked after my friend’s dogs for them over night and these are all of different sizes. I currently have a 5 and a half year old Irish Setter who is very chilled and well socialised. He has shared his home with many dog visitors as my friends will always bring their dogs for visits, sleepovers, walks, or I will dog sit for them. I feed the dogs in separate rooms, dogs can have full roam of the house and can sleep where they are most comfortable. I will cater to the dog’s needs and want the dogs to feel as comfortable as possible. I have had my friend’s dog who had separation anxiety not want to ever go up the stairs- me and my dog slept downstairs for her stay as her safe place was the chair. She slept right through each night with us just on the settee across from her. As I work in an high school I am more suited to weekend dog sitting than weekdays - unless In the school holidays as I work in a school. I get up early and take the dogs out when it is nice and quiet to places that are safe for them to run around or explore on their lead. I also go back out in the evenings before bed. The amount and length of walks can be tailored to the dog, I love walking and so does my dog but we understand other dogs may not want as much exercise and this can be catered to as well. My garden is secure and mud free as it is artificial grass so the dogs can roam outside as much as they like whatever the weather and can get plenty of toilet breaks. They will always be watched when in the garden. My dog is known as being a King because that is how he is treated and your dog will be treated no differently when in my care, they will be my number one priority. I work full time so weekends and school holidays are more suited to our schedule. I am able to be home for 3:15pm on a Friday. I will tailor my weekend to the booking and ensure I am home all weekend so your dog will not be left alone. Please enquire about school holidays also. I have a secure garden that is spacious with a very friendly Irish Setter who will be patient with your dog but will also teach them to be calm in the house and settled.

14. Freya C.
About: Thankyou for viewing my profile! I’m 20 years old, I have 2 years pet care experience that I completed at Myerscough college, however, I have owned pets, particularly dogs my whole life! It is my dream to set up my own dog walking business and be my own boss! I joined rover to earn a little bit of extra money for my family. I hold a full drivers license. Being a dog owner, I know they mean more to us then ‘just pets’. I assure you I will take care of your pet as my own and give them the best experience while they’re with me. I am currently unemployed, as I have a 1 year old daughter who is not yet in nursery. However, I have adequate childcare for her. I am fully flexible Monday-Friday for dog walking, dog sitting, drop ins etc. I have 2 dogs of my own, so your dog would need to be friendly with others, if you wanted to board your dog with me. I have an large enclosed yard, but this is stones/decking, not grass. I also have a young child, so your dog/s must be okay being around children. Preferably I would choose to pet sit/ board animals in the owners home. As the animal will be familiar with is surroundings, and this works better for me with my schedule. I am able to follow any instructions/ commands you leave me for your pet such as feeding times/walks etc.

20. Jill S.

“Dexter had a great time with Jill and her partner, Dexter's still a puppy and so has lots of energy and gets up to lots of mischief but they took it all in their stride. They took him on lovely walks and had lots of cuddles with him. He loved playing with their dog Millie who is very sweet and playful. We would definitely send him to stay with Jill again in the future!”
