He can be quite anxious and a bit reactive in new situations, so we were naturally quite nervous about leaving him — but both Mollie and Kean handled him really well. They took the time to let him settle in at his own pace, and it was really reassuring to hear that he relaxed quickly and even slept comfortably during his stay. It’s clear they both understand dogs and know how to create a calm, safe environment. We also really appreciated the updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. About: We’ve had dogs in our family all our lives and have had our own furry family member, Daphne, for the past four years. She’s a real bundle of energy, so we’re very used to keeping up with an active dog and adapting to different personalities and behaviours! We’ve been through dog training and behaviour courses ourselves and use the skills and techniques we’ve learned with Daphne every day. This has given us a good understanding of dog behaviour and how to provide calm, consistent and positive care. We also regularly look after dogs for friends and family and have done so for many years, so we’re very comfortable welcoming other dogs into our home, taking them on walks and helping them settle into a new environment. Most importantly, we treat every dog in our care like one of our own — with plenty of love, attention, patience and, of course, lots of walks and cuddles! I work from home, which means I have plenty of time throughout the day to give your dog the care, attention and playtime they deserve. Our days include morning, lunchtime and evening walks, along with a few sessions of training games and enrichment throughout the day. Your dog will be treated just like one of our own and will be welcomed into our usual routine, helping them feel settled, comfortable and at home. Of course, I’m more than happy to adapt their routine to match what they’re used to or what you feel works best for them. We’ll care for your pet as if they were one of our own. We absolutely adore our dog, so you can rest assured that your pet will receive the same love, attention and care that we give to ours. Our outdoor area is fully fenced and secured with a locked gate, giving your pet a safe and secure space to enjoy some fresh air. Our home is pet-friendly and set up with your dog’s safety in mind, with anything potentially harmful kept safely out of reach. We also have a Ring doorbell camera for additional security around the outside of the property. I’m usually always within sight or close by to our own dog, and I’ll provide the same level of supervision and attention to your pet. We want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family. For overnight stays, we’re more than happy to provide plenty of cuddles and even a spot on the bed if that’s what your dog is used to! If we have multiple dogs staying with us, we have a spacious, secure kitchen area where they can settle comfortably together, with our own pup to keep them company. We also have dog cameras set up in the kitchen so we can keep an eye on everyone when needed.
“Jessica and Lewis were amazing with our two whippets. Lots of exercise and lots of love was given to my dogs, that I could see on the daily morning and evening updates. When we went to pick them up, after jumping on us, they went back to Jessica and Lewis for cuddles on the sofa and that told me everything I needed to know. I have one dog that isn’t a fan of strangers and she was definitely at ease and relaxed with them which is a testament to the kindness and love they showed her. 💖💖 Their dog Ralph was a wonderful friend to my dogs as well 😊”
About: I am currently in my final year of veterinary school and have a wide range of experience with different dogs and their medical issues. I am comfortable in giving medication and recognising when things aren’t quite right. I have previously had my own house sitting and dog walking business before starting veterinary school so I am comfortable with all aspects of caring for your pets. I’m currently in my final year of veterinary school so my weekends off are filled with lots of walks with my own dog and time spent at the stables with the horses. I would love to share this time with some other dogs too as well as any weeks or days off I have between my current rotations. Shirley is fantastic and took such good care of our dog bear. We had lots of Regular updates, bear also had lots of long walks which he loved and 5 star care from Shirley. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for Honey while we were away for the week! Natalie made everything so effortless, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her. Her home is gorgeous, and the secure, lovely garden was absolute heaven for Honey to run around in. Natalie and her family completely welcomed Honey into their home and loved on her like she was one of their own. Their family dog Oscar is a cutie and has a lovely temperament, so the two of them got along brilliantly right from the start. We loved getting the regular photos and video updates while we were away—it gave us total peace of mind seeing how happy and relaxed she was. In all honesty, I think Honey is actually missing Natalie and the family now that she’s back home! We cannot recommend Natalie enough and will definitely be requesting to book Honey in again for our next trip. Thank you so much again!xxx

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.
