About: I have two very well trained and behaved dogs, Wispa and Mavis, and lifelong experience of dog ownership. I can accommodate all types of friendly dog into usual walks and I drive to a large enclosed field at least once daily, with a separate park walk too. Love dogs, enclosed garden, won't be left any longer than you feel comfortable. Your dogs will have their own room at night I work at home so I'm always around the house. Lunchtime walk nearby and a long evening off lead walk (if allowed) at an enclosed field is our routine, as my dogs have a lot of energy to burn off. Dogs have an enclosed back garden, and I have a large front garden too. Your dog will have its own room at night away from our dogs. Lots of attention and won't be left any longer than you say. I have two dogs, Wispa and Mavis, who I see all day working from home. I walk my dogs at least twice daily, lunchtime and evening, and they are seldom left. I have a car so drive out for a walk every evening in an enclosed space to throw a ball. I have always owned dogs and have experience with many breeds and sizes. My spare room will be your dog's in the evening for the stay, away from my dogs.
“It was the first time we had ever left Roxy overnight. We were really worried about leaving her at all. However we were greatly impressed with the young couple who looked after her. They went above and beyond to make Roxy feel at home and cared for her exceptionally well, sending us regular pup dates on how she was. They have a great set up and large garden, and are close to a large country park for walking and adventures. We both are very fussy people but we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high standard of care for their dog. We have already booked with them again, as we know Roxy will be well cared for.”

About: My doggie died a few months back after 14 years , grown up around dogs & horses! Previous dog sitting & walking neighbourhood dogs! I have looked after dogs from puppies, to elderly dogs, it’s part of my nature and comes very naturally! I call myself the dog whisperer:) I am self employed, moved from London to Darwen. So I move my own schedule around and I find myself very bored most of the time. I feel a big gap in my life currently since my dog passed away, and would really love to get back into looking after dogs! I live in a 3 bedroom house, pretty much on my own. About: My name is Jen, I am a farmers wife & work from home. The farm is based in the heart of the Ribble Valley with lots of good walking spots! The garden is large and secure. I have working dogs but sadly no longer a house dog. Visitors would need to be cat friendly ! My entire life has revolved around animals and still very much does. My days are spent on the farm and working with our show ponies. From 2013 I ran a very successful dog groomers called Hair & Hound which was based at Mrs Downsons for 5 years. The business grew from strength to strength with customers trusting the shop with their loved ones. Weekend in the summer are available depending on horse shows - best option is to throw me a message 😊 Being a farmer i am based at home, apart from when I am on the school run ! Any visitors would be let out at 6 am for wee’s & poo’s and generally go to bed at 10.30 pm. The garden is fenced. I am out and on the farm at 6 am. As I am based from home our animals, as you can imagine, get A LOT of attention through out the day! Dogs would not be allowed up stairs & would sleep in the kitchen.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 13, and my love for animals started even earlier when one of my first jobs was working on a farm. I enjoy getting to know all types of dogs and their unique personalities, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with them. I can’t wait to meet some new four-legged best mates! About: I've taken care, walked and basic trained dogs since I was 13. Currently I own a collie. Louis was also flexible and was happy to do an extra visit when we were worried that Pumpkin was not eating enough. Furthermore, when Pumpkin made a mess, Louis took the initiative to clean it up as well. Louis arrived on time and notified us of any delays promptly. About: I’ve been caring for others cats and dogs for a few years now but started walking and sitting over the last two years. About: We are a retired couple, home all day every day so your dog will never be alone. We have 2 male cocker spaniels, Angus & Hamish, (neutered) who are 3 year old brothers and very friendly and playful with other dogs. We have a small garden, but go on walks to the local field or woods every day. About: When I was a child, my family rescued 2 Siberian Huskies, and I was solely responsible for their needs, including feeding, walking, training and overall caring. My love of dogs has inspired me to do in-depth research about different breeds of dogs and their behaviour for a number of years. We've had the absolute privilege of looking after many different pets! 🐱 Cats: I have helped to train from kitten age, right up until their twilight years. 🐶 Dogs: we have petsat for a wide variety of dog breeds and simply loved them all. We are very experienced with dogs, having both grown up with them and later had them as an adults. 🐶🐱The dream would be to buy a field and have as many pets as possible😅😂 Until then, we give all our attention and TLC to yours☺️ 🐶🐱 We are completely comfortable with administering medication to both cats and dogs as have had to do it on numerous occasions. - For example; we pet-sat two Staffordshire bull terriers and had to give one eye-treatment 4x a day for a week. - Our family cat, Rolo, lasted until he was 17 but had numerous health issues in the end which required that extra time and care. 🐶 We have been trusted with looking after a two year old Rhodesian Ridgeback. He needed a lot of training so I attended two training sessions with the trainer per week. 🐶🐱 We are mindful that it's hard not being around your pet and make it our duty to send regular photos and messages keeping you updated on how they are. 🐶🐱 If you would like us to stay in your house to look after your pet we are aware of not only being in a new space, but a home. I have a loving and super energetic husky who requires a lot of exercise, plenty of walks and access to a secure back garden at any time. I treat all dogs as if they’re human, they are family after all. Dogs are allowed on furniture, have free reign of the house and back garden. They can sleep, rest and play wherever they like. About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. We were sent daily updates and pictures of Marley and he couldn't have been more happy, and not only were they looking after Marley, they were also training him whilst he stayed with them, which is a great help to us. He thrived at Mark and Natalie's home being with the other dogs and Mark and Natalie themselves. About: I have grown up with dogs since I can remember. The dogs I have had throughout my life have always been medium or large breed dogs but I have looked after my friend’s dogs for them over night and these are all of different sizes. I currently have a 5 and a half year old Irish Setter who is very chilled and well socialised. He has shared his home with many dog visitors as my friends will always bring their dogs for visits, sleepovers, walks, or I will dog sit for them. I feed the dogs in separate rooms, dogs can have full roam of the house and can sleep where they are most comfortable. I will cater to the dog’s needs and want the dogs to feel as comfortable as possible. I have had my friend’s dog who had separation anxiety not want to ever go up the stairs- me and my dog slept downstairs for her stay as her safe place was the chair. She slept right through each night with us just on the settee across from her. As I work in an high school I am more suited to weekend dog sitting than weekdays - unless In the school holidays as I work in a school. I get up early and take the dogs out when it is nice and quiet to places that are safe for them to run around or explore on their lead. I also go back out in the evenings before bed. The amount and length of walks can be tailored to the dog, I love walking and so does my dog but we understand other dogs may not want as much exercise and this can be catered to as well. My garden is secure and mud free as it is artificial grass so the dogs can roam outside as much as they like whatever the weather and can get plenty of toilet breaks. They will always be watched when in the garden. My dog is known as being a King because that is how he is treated and your dog will be treated no differently when in my care, they will be my number one priority. I work full time so weekends and school holidays are more suited to our schedule. I am able to be home for 3:15pm on a Friday. I will tailor my weekend to the booking and ensure I am home all weekend so your dog will not be left alone. Please enquire about school holidays also. I have a secure garden that is spacious with a very friendly Irish Setter who will be patient with your dog but will also teach them to be calm in the house and settled.
About: What I offer I will be offering walking dogs from your door and I will be sitting dogs I will feed them if they need it I can put meds in if they need it. But I can’t do injections. If I look after your pet over night I will take it on night walk feed them and make sure I take some time to play and then relax on sofa in front of tv. About myself I am a loving person who loves pets like there my own. I look after big dog small dog all kinds happy to meet. Just one press away from a well look after pet. I am currently unemployed so am free all week and weekend. I am a healthy fit girl that will take them out regularly so there happy for the night day afternoon. I have a big flat I have a garden but it’s not fence but I have a massive field just a stone throw away so they’ll be out and about.
