“Our cockerpoo Lottie had a fabulous stay over with Marnie and her lovely hubby and she came back so chilled out! This was the first time we had used Rover and we could not have picked a better sitter so beginners luck I think! We had a greet n meet beforehand to make sure we were all happy and then Lottie stayed over one night whilst we had to travel to a funeral. It was an emotional trip for me so to be able to leave our precious pooch in such caring and capable hands was a real load off my mind. Lottie was soon settled in and making herself at home and Marnie was very reassuring sending me regular updates and photos and giving her great walks and lots of cuddles. I would definately recommend Marnie as a very caring boarder and we feel confident that we have found the perfect sitter for our little dog for a future break. Finding someone you can trust and feel confident with is not always easy so It's a real bonus to find such a lovely person who obviously goes the extra mile to welcome and look after your precious pooch so I am very thankful to have found such a lovely couple first time round. About: I have grown up with dogs, so I have spent my whole life caring for them. I also have a senior dog, so I have experience with care of all ages, from puppies to adults, hyper and calm. I am currently attending University online, so I will be at home more often than not! My house always has at least 1 person at home, so your pet will never be lonely. We have space for a crate if needed, and a senior dog who’s good with all dogs, so your animal will have a friend. We have a large fenced off garden and lots of space to roam, and animals are allowed on furniture.

About: We’ve had dogs in our family all our lives and have had our own furry family member, Daphne, for the past four years. She’s a real bundle of energy, so we’re very used to keeping up with an active dog and adapting to different personalities and behaviours! We’ve been through dog training and behaviour courses ourselves and use the skills and techniques we’ve learned with Daphne every day. This has given us a good understanding of dog behaviour and how to provide calm, consistent and positive care. We also regularly look after dogs for friends and family and have done so for many years, so we’re very comfortable welcoming other dogs into our home, taking them on walks and helping them settle into a new environment. Most importantly, we treat every dog in our care like one of our own — with plenty of love, attention, patience and, of course, lots of walks and cuddles! I work from home, which means I have plenty of time throughout the day to give your dog the care, attention and playtime they deserve. Our days include morning, lunchtime and evening walks, along with a few sessions of training games and enrichment throughout the day. Your dog will be treated just like one of our own and will be welcomed into our usual routine, helping them feel settled, comfortable and at home. About: I am currently in my final year of veterinary school and have a wide range of experience with different dogs and their medical issues. I am comfortable in giving medication and recognising when things aren’t quite right. I have previously had my own house sitting and dog walking business before starting veterinary school so I am comfortable with all aspects of caring for your pets. I’m currently in my final year of veterinary school so my weekends off are filled with lots of walks with my own dog and time spent at the stables with the horses. I would love to share this time with some other dogs too as well as any weeks or days off I have between my current rotations. I have a background in occupational therapy studies, which has shaped the way I now approach dog care. Some dogs need more activity and engagement, others need a calmer and more predictable environment, and I adapt accordingly. As a child, and teenager, our family pet (a Jack Russell) gave me an early understanding of canine behaviour and communication. I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a young child, I have had dogs all my life and started looking after other peoples pets at around 16, I have two of my own large rescue dogs that come with their own issues so I am well experienced with animals with nerves. I understand pets that are shy as I have looked after my aunties pets that struggle with anxiety and we have built a bond overtime. I have experience with slightly larger breeds such as male staffies and pit bulls as I have grown up with them since I was 7, I have also looked after puppies before (less than 1 years old, not less than a month old etc.) I am willing and capable to care of a young pup. I have looked after many cats and understand some are not as sociable, I am patient. I am no stranger to being nibbled by puppies and giving them extra play time / longer walks to tire them out, I also understand older dogs need a more relaxed approach. I have recently finished college and I have much more spare time, as such an animal enthusiast I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I wake up early and complete daily chores around the house and feeding / walking my own pets. I also sell online so I will often be posting parcels, I am 18 with a full driving licence and my own vehicle so transport is no issue! I am available all throughout the day. I have been trusted multiple times with peoples house keys and being able to let myself in / lock up their homes to watch over their pets. Our garden is fenced off and pretty decent space wise, we also have toys at home that have never been touched as our dog is not interested, we have a large crate if necessary and other dog beds, we have a guest room that can be used for your pet. We always have treats and multiple water bowls available. The back garden is safe and we do not take the dogs on the front garden unless they are on a lead.

About: Hello! Unlike some other sitters on Rover, i have a year of dog sitting experience and work experience in a kennels, cattery, riding school and small animal vet clinic. I have been caring for dogs ever since 2012 when i was around seven years old and have also had some experience with rabbits and birds around the age of 4 years old. During my work experience, i have learnt how to analyse basic animal behaviour well and have learnt how to follow a schedule of feeding times, medicine that need to be administered and how to meet the needs of both dogs and cats. I’ve helped with grooming and bathing at the kennels and i am patient at all times, giving space to animals when they need it. I am the type of pet sitter to give some advice to owners if i feel it may benefit the owners and the pet. For example, if i see your dog eats too quickly, i might recommend a slow feeding bowl to reduce chances of things such as GDV happening to your dog. I have helped two owners during my time as a pet sitter as i have noticed medical issues in their dogs such as signs of a urinary infection or epulis. If you do not want advice, please let me know beforehand as i do not tolerate rude behaviour. Im currently available at all times so whatever type of schedule you would like for your pet, i can work around. When a dog is in my own home and is sleeping over, i sleep nearby to make sure that they are comfortable and safe as that is my first priority. I give every dog at least one walk a day (or more if you would like) In my own home, i have an attached house which is kept clean at all times and it has a back garden with tall fences and no grass. Its a relatively big garden with lots of plants and vegetables around. I do have a dog of my own in the house who’s an eight year old Sproodle who is playful but is no threat to other dogs as she loves to greet them no matter the age. She is gentle with puppies and sleeps in her own bed in the kitchen. In my house, i live with two sisters and my mother. No matter the house im caring for your pet in, i will stick to a schedule and your rules however you prefer. I will make sure your pet is entertained and cared for well and will return home happy!

About: My experience in animal care began from a childhood filled with my beloved pet's, which led me to study Animal Management at Myerscough College, where I achieved a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification. I also have four years of professional experience working in a busy doggy daycare. I initially joined as a work experience placement in Year 11 and continued working there alongside college before becoming permanent staff. During this time I worked with a wide variety of breeds, sizes and personalities, developing strong skills in reading canine body language, managing different behaviours and creating fun enrichment activities. I can accommodate all types of friendly dog into usual walks and I drive to a large enclosed field at least once daily, with a separate park walk too. Love dogs, enclosed garden, won't be left any longer than you feel comfortable. Your dogs will have their own room at night I work at home so I'm always around the house. Lunchtime walk nearby and a long evening off lead walk (if allowed) at an enclosed field is our routine, as my dogs have a lot of energy to burn off. About: I have grown up with dogs, so I have spent my whole life caring for them. I also have a senior dog, so I have experience with care of all ages, from puppies to adults, hyper and calm. I am currently attending University online, so I will be at home more often than not! My house always has at least 1 person at home, so your pet will never be lonely. We have space for a crate if needed, and a senior dog who’s good with all dogs, so your animal will have a friend. We have a large fenced off garden and lots of space to roam, and animals are allowed on furniture.
