“Amanda and John had our pug Hugo for our two week holiday. Communication from booking to picking our dog up at the end as been exceptional. We booked him in months in advance as this was the first time I used a dog boarder and first time using rover so I was a little hesitant to leave my dog with strangers. However, we met up with Amanda and John before the two week stay and all my worry went within a minute. When I was on holiday I got so many updates and photos of Hugo from Amanda. It really did put my mind at ease through the whole holiday. I really looked forward to getting them. Put a massive smile on my face. I couldn’t recommend Amanda and John enough as dog boarders. I will be booking again for my next holiday and for all my future holidays. Thankyou Amanda and John for treating Hugo like your own dog in your own home.”

“Where do we begin… right from the initial communication Georgina and Stu were fantastic, answering all our questions and putting our minds at rest. It was our first time using a dog sitter, so we were quite apprehensive, but the service we received was amazing. Georgina and Stuart initiated a meet and greet and then a visit again closer to booking which really helped us. Our beautiful girl Nellie loved her time with them and they kept us updated several times a day with videos and photos which were greatly appreciated. They kept to Nellie’s routines, administered her ear drops for us and took really good care of her as if she were their own. We would definitely use them again if they’ll have us and would highly recommend.”

About: I have owned small and large dogs my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old husky x chow chow. I work from home so I am always able to give attention to your dogs! I work from home, and will be able to give your pets all the attention they could ever want! My home overlooks a great reservoir for walks and leads to Healy dell. I have a secure garden and a friendly husky mix who loves other dogs. If your dog is not happy we are able to separate them, however it is preferable that your dog is friendly. I am happy to do meet and greets so our dogs can meet.

About: I’ve had dogs most of my adult life, most notably Chad (named after my mother’s favourite football player!), our goofy black Labrador. I’ve also house and pet sat for many family friends dogs over the years, ranging from small to large dogs. I’m used to pets with various medication requirements and both social friendly dogs and pets with a little more anxiety around other pets and humans. I’m currently working from home so have plenty of time to give your fur baby the love, care and attention they need. I’m also available evenings and weekends and can be flexible around your schedule. My house is situated on a quiet private road, meaning both peace and quiet for your pet in my house. Yet I’m also close enough to parks that we can get out for some exercise and sun whenever they’re up to it and the weather allows it of course!

“From our first meet and greet with Andrew and Nicky we felt confident that our dog Amber was in safe hands. She stayed with them for 6 nights and had the best time visiting family with them, staying over in a hotel, visiting pubs and even the garden centre. Our nervousness at how she would behave as she does have some anxiety issues around other dogs did not faze Andrew and Nicky, they are extremely compassionate and caring. Amber had a wonderful time and I only wish we had found them sooner!! Thank you both!🥰”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11, I trained my own dog to gold standard within a year and walked dogs for friends and family for over 5 years. I also have experience in daycare and kennels so can handle many breeds. After so many years working with dogs, I thought now was a good time to take the leap and try and get my own small business off the ground! Insured, DBS checked and first aid trained! I am currently working part time so will be available most days, just pop me a message and I’m sure we will be able to work something out :) I’m totally flexible with my schedule I wouldn’t be able to have your dog at my house as I have a reactive older rescue dog who wouldn’t take kindly to having her home taken over by a stranger. I am happy to look after pets of all shapes, sizes and species in your own home! I will come to your house to play, feed and cuddle your fur baby

“Kate was fast to reply to my messages and to answer my questions, and she was kind enough to let Peppa visit before I made a booking.  I was a bit apprehensive at how Peppa would settle with a new sitter given she has separation anxiety, but upon arrival it was obvious that she immediately felt at home.  Kate kept me updated throughout with pics and messages letting me know how everything was going.  Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks very much, Peppa can't wait to come back!”
