Caring, calm and reliable animal lover
Pete and I would treat every pet as it it were one of the family. We no longer have our own dog Max, a big Locke ale black lab, and miss our often muddy walks together. We have looked after our friend pets a numerous occasions and love having them to stay. We have both recently retired and thought it would be a great opportunity to experience the joy of pets without loosing our flexibility. Our home is very relaxed, while it is situated on a main road, it is set back and we have a large rear garden that backs into fields. We have easy access to lots is rural walks for lots of fresh air. Please contact us in advance to discuss a availability or if you per has any special routines or requirements and we will always do our best to accommodate your needs.

Catherine and family were great with our dog. She was flexible when plans changed and maintained great communication throughout his stay. Would recommend to all.
Great. Catherine and her husband were brilliant. Kept us updated and sent alot of pictures. Teddy can be a bit naughty but Catherine took it all in her stride. He can be a. funny eater, but she gave him cooked chicken, which she did not have to do.
Catherine and her husband are so lovely. They asked us to meet Luna prior to our booking with them and spoke about Luna at length. They provided lots of photos and updates during Luna's stay and was very accommidating for her needs. Lovely people will definitely rebook again
It’s a big thing leaving your beloved pet but after our first meeting we felt reassured. Rumba chops had her first sleepover and settled in easily. Cath kept us informed throughout. Our dog loved her stay 🥰

My husband and I are both retired and have occasional jobs, we would ensure that we were not working while we were looking after your pet.

We have a large back garden backing onto fields, but would always prefer to take pets out for walks to cover all their needs. We could accommodate crates if required.
A typical day
I love taking dogs out on walks, I get so much enjoyment seeing them investigate and have fun. We love to stimulate dogs by playing games with them.
