“Beth and Ross made me feel at ease, as soon as I dropped Snoop off. You can tell they are absolute dog lovers, and snoop took to them instantly. I received plenty of updates and pictures whilst I was away, and they seemed upset to see him go. I will 100% use them when I next need a dog sitter.”

“Couldn’t be anymore grateful to Amanda and John for giving Lola the best holiday! Lovely people and was kept updated throughout her stay which allowed me to relax in the knowledge she was happy. It’s a game changer to find dog sitters you can trust, would 100% recommend booking with them.”
“Fiona and her family have looked after my Shih Tzu for both day care and overnight stays and I'm hoping they will do so again on many occasions to come. I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention they show. It's a great relief to know I can leave my dog in such good hands.”

“Lin took such good care of Peggy our schnauzer. Peggy has only ever been left with one family member so we were worried she would fret but was so settled and well looked after, we could relax and enjoy a family wedding. Lin gave regular updates via video and pictures. Such a wonderful host, if ever we have to leave Peggy again, I’ll certainly be contacting Lin. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.”

“Catherine and her husband cared for Lottie like she was there own , she was very helpful as to get her settled and Lottie came back happy and healthy and very tired which is always a good thing 😁. Would definitely use her again”

“Georgina and Stu were fantastic. They were really considerate of our dog's needs and listened to what we hoped they could do for us as sitters and to what our dog did and didn't like. They reall went out of their way to make him feel comfortable and happy and of course this meant we were delighted too! They were great with regular updates of his adventures and Stu took some beautiful photos. We will definitely use their services again and would recommend to anyone. This was our first time using Rover and they have set a very high bar!”

“Zara was amazing with Maple. Maple went off her food so Zara made her alternative meals, she took her on walks and sent me picture updates. Would have no hesitation in recommending zara, or rebooking with her.”

“An amazing sitter. My dog didn't want to come home he was treated so well! It can be difficult finding a sitter who accepts larger dogs and has the suitable environment for them but Katie's house and family were perfect for my GSD Boscoe.. He'd never stayed with any other people apart from ourselves and whilst he was nervous the first few nights, Katie and her family made him feel welcome and he settled really well thanks to them and enjoyed his 17 day stay. Highly, highly recommend Katie as a sitter.”

“Ruby had another wonderful stay with Karen and Trevor, she ran in as if it was her own home and was very settled when we collected her. I'm not sure she actually wanted you leave! We're so happy to have found Karen and Trevor who we know lavish so much love and care on Ruby when she stays...thankyou so much x”

“Gino has had an absolute ball with Andrew and Nicky. He has walked miles exploring new places, visited China Town on the bus and to met all the locals. Highly recommend Andrew and nick to look after your pup. You will be reassured and content knowing your pup is not only looked after but having an adventure as well xxx”

“Dora had a great overnight stay with Chelsea, Pongo and co and was so well cared for. It's clear the whole family love and understand dogs, and they were so accommodating and sent plent of photos to reassure me. I'm delighted Dora has a new dog-friend for sleepovers, and by the look of things, so is she. We will be back!”

“Maggie is always in safe hands with Rachel, she is cared for as she was her own dog, we get regular updates, photos and videos. Maggie is taken for long walks and gets along really well with Lister who is also a friendly dog, thank you again Rachel.”

“Kayley and Milly were fantastic with Goose. It was obvious from the start that they really care about the dogs they look after, and Goose settled in straight away :) They took great care of him and kept me updated, which was really appreciated. It was also lovely that Goose got to spend time with their dogs, Mabel and Ralph. They’re both such lovely dogs and Goose clearly had a great time playing with them. Goose came home very happy and well looked after. I’d happily book with Kayley and Milly again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to look after their dog, thanks so much xx”

“Alison and the family took good care of Luna over the weekend and even tried teaching new tricks! Not sure Luna wanted to leave when it came to picking her up again. Plenty of updates and pictures sent and would happily use again. Thanks Alison 👍”

“Keely was absolutely fantastic. Catered for penny and made her feel at home (first time I had ever left her). Penny got 5 star treatment and was so well looked after regular pictures and updates too. I know where penny is going when I next go away. Thanks soooo much. X”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands on experience caring for Labradors and other dogs with different personalities, energy levels and routines. I currently own a Labrador called Layla and have had Labradors in the past too, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, energetic dogs and dogs that love plenty of exercise and attention. I’ve also volunteered with Guide Dogs, which gave me valuable experience around dog behaviour, structure, patience, consistency and handling dogs calmly in different environments. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve regularly walked and boarded friends’ dogs, helping them settle into a comfortable routine away from home. I genuinely enjoy learning more about dog behaviour, enrichment, body language and building trust with each dog individually. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and reliable and I’m happy caring for nervous, excitable, high energy or older dogs. I work from home, which means dogs staying with me get plenty of company, supervision, attention and care throughout the day and night. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their personalities properly. I aim to create a calm, home from home environment where dogs feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family. I work from home and already structure my day around caring for my own Labrador, Layla. Dogs staying with me get plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day and evening in a calm home environment. I’m able to provide regular toilet breaks, feeding routines, play, affection and multiple daily outings as part of a normal day rather than fitting them around a busy schedule. Boarding works especially well for me during evenings, weekends and holidays, and I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable, relaxed and settled while staying away from home. Dogs staying in my home are cared for in a calm, safe and comfortable environment where they’re treated like part of the family. My home is clean, dog friendly and dog proofed, with a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time, toilet breaks and play. Because I work from home, dogs get regular company, feeding, affection and multiple daily outings throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions that help them feel comfortable and settled. Safety is very important to me, especially when introducing dogs or managing different personalities and energy levels. I take time to understand each dog individually, including temperament, behaviour, exercise needs and anything they may be anxious or reactive around. I’m canine first aid trained, safety conscious and experienced around larger breeds and energetic dogs. Regular photo and video updates will also be provided so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away.

“Zobia was excellent with my cat whilst I was away for a few days. Usually my cat tends not to go to other people, but Zobia managed to win her over straight away and got kisses, head bumps and some cuddles. I couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience, and I will definitely be using her services again, if needed.”

“Lauren is a fantastic sitter and made us feel so much more relaxed while we were away. Our cats loved her! Lauren communicated with us during her visits and sent us updates with pictures, we will be booking her services for our upcoming trips! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Solveig was great! The communication with her was very smooth and consistent, no surprises. The pictures were amazing and Eros’ personality shone through so many of them. She took good care of everything and was a breeze to work with. Would definitely recommend.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Andrew provided for our cat, Phoebe, while we were away. From the very beginning, Andrew was professional, kind, and incredibly attentive to Phoebe’s needs. He kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind knowing Phoebe was in such caring hands. When we returned, Phoebe was calm, happy, and clearly well looked after — her litter was clean, food and water were fresh, and she even seemed to have enjoyed the extra playtime and cuddles. Andrew went above and beyond, and it made all the difference. We feel so lucky to have found such a reliable and genuinely caring sitter. We highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their furry family members. Thank you again, Andrew — Phoebe can’t wait to see you next time!”

“Meg was very well looked after and was very keen to get in, when I was dropping her off. She is diabetic, so not the easiest to look after as on a strict diet. You have to have eyes in the back of your head, where food is concerned. I had no worries about her having access to things she shouldn’t, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you.”

About: Growing up with dogs and now raising our own energetic 2-year-old Labrador Retriever, caring for dogs has always been a huge part of mine and my partner Chris' lives. Between us, we’ve had hands-on experience with dogs for over 15 years, including Spaniels, Terriers, Pomeranians and Labradors, so we understand that every breed has different personalities, needs and energy levels. We provide a genuine, loving home-from-home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family, with plenty of attention, play, walks and care tailored to them individually. I work full time from home, meaning your dog will have company, supervision and regular attention throughout the day. My partner works full time too and is usually home by 3pm each day, so there’s always plenty of time for walks, play and cuddles. Winston comes everywhere with us and is rarely left alone, and we’d treat your dog exactly the same — like part of the family. Your dog will enjoy morning and evening walks, regular potty breaks during the day, lots of playtime and attention, plus access to our large secure fenced garden for safe outdoor fun and exercise. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness will always come first in our home. We have no children, creating a calm and relaxed environment where dogs can receive plenty of attention, care and supervision throughout the day. Our home also has a large secure 6ft fenced garden, perfect for safe playtime, exercise and toilet breaks. For extra peace of mind, we have indoor cameras in the main living area should we ever need to briefly step out, although dogs would very rarely be left alone as there are two of us and one of us is almost always home. Our Labrador, Winston, is a very active, loving and sociable typical Lab who absolutely adores other friendly dogs. Dogs with similar temperaments and energy levels would fit perfectly into our routine, whether they need looking after for a single night, longer stays or while you’re away on holiday. We’re very flexible and always try to match your dog’s usual routine and schedule to help them feel settled and at home. Dogs in our home are treated like family. Winston sleeps in bed with us, is allowed on the furniture and is involved in everything we do — and we would happily offer the same comfort, affection and care to your dog too. We know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, which is why we care for every dog as if they were our own.

“Leah has been wonderful with Scooby. I could tell when they initially met that she is a real dog person who will always put a dogs best interest first, and Scooby absolutely loved her so that was a great sign 😊 Thanks for taking such good care of him”

About: Full-time dog walker. Fully insured, DBS checked and trained in animal first aid ✔️ I am new to Rover, however I’ve spent over 8 years looking after animals both at work and at home, and I finally(!) became a dog owner myself two years ago when I met Miggy - my friendly toy cockapoo 🐶 I offer flexible one on one dog walking in Middleton and the surrounding areas - I’m usually available at short notice on weekdays and weekends. If you’re local to Middleton I can usually be with you in 30 mins in an emergency - just drop me a message. When on walks, I always keep your dog on lead, while constantly being engaged and assessing the route ahead. My walks are dog lead and I tailor my routes to your home location.
About: Experience of caring for puppies as well as much older dogs, who may need extra medication, time and care. Willing to go the extra mile! As a primary school teacher for over 2 decades, I'm now reducing my hours to part-time. I'm hoping this will allow me the opportunity to do something I love on a regular basis. After having cared for my own dog, as well as many others for friends and family, I am looking to offer my services to more families. I have offered home boarding in the past, but starting off getting to know your pets through a home visit & dog walking service in the first instance.
About: With over six years of hands-on experience working on a petting farm from the age of 14 to 20, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — from livestock to a variety of dog breeds. Growing up in a dog-loving home, especially with high-energy breeds like collies, has given me a deep understanding of canine behaviour, needs, and personalities. Whether it’s providing calm companionship or active playtime, I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I work full time as a teacher but I am free most weekends and evenings! This also means I’m off during school holidays all day so can cater for all pet needs in that time! I have a fenced yard with a border collie. Our home is dog and pet friendly! We live close to good walks for all the doggy walking needs!

About: I have always grown up around dogs with my parents having dogs since I was little. Since moving out me and my partner have now gotten a dog together. I love animals and enjoying taking care of them. I currently work from home three days a week and will update my calendar accordingly so have the availability in the week to help those days. I can be available in the evenings also just drop me a message! I am available most weekends & update my availability weekly. If your pet is to come to mine I have a big fenced garden with my own dog to play with yours! If your dog isn't great with other dogs no worries, we struggled with my dog at first as he has anxiety but working with him he is great now. I know how to handle dogs whether they need a cuddle or want to be left alone or if dogs are protective over food etc I can handle this as my parents dog is the same.

About: Hi, I’m Amy. Alongside my partner I have owned and run my own dog walking business Barking Pad for the past 5 years, both in the UK and over in sunny Australia! From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, Staffies to German Shepards, we’ve cared for them all - each one as much an adventure as the next. I am fully insured by Pet Business Insurance, which covers Public Liability, Loss of Keys, Animal Illness and Care Custody of up to 6 dogs per walk. Along with a cleared DBS check, I also have an OFQUAL Level 3 qualification in Canine First Aid and Emergency First Aid training, with having attended the Rachel Bean First Aid course. You’ll receive texts and photos with updates, and can even follow along on our social media pages too! A typical day will always start and end with lots of cuddles, with plenty of adventure in between! For dogs that love to make friends we have a lovely group of doggies just waiting to play with, and for those that enjoy their own space we always prioritise a nice solo adventure with lots to sniff and see. I always make sure to get as much detail from our owners as possible, to ensure their pets are as safe and happy as can be. With updates and pictures throughout their time to give owners full peace of mind.

About: Hi! I'm a university graduate based in Greater Manchester. I have experience with different domestic animals, cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, and even some insects. I absolutely adore every animal I've cared for and have taken pride in providing a caring and enriching experience for each one. I love learning about each animal and their behaviour to provide them with a fun and comfortable environment whilst their loved ones are away. I have previously owned rabbits, stick insects, a hamster, and I currently have an American bully puppy who is a family pet and does not accompany me on sits. If you have a large dog I only require that they are well behaved on a lead. I’m currently quite flexible and will be focussed on caring for your pets during my time with them, including lots of play time and attention. I like to stick to your pets usual schedule so they experience the least amount of disruption possible. So just let me know what their usual day looks like. I will always look after your home, water plants, take bins out and anything else you may need whilst I’m caring for your pet. I’ll provide as many updates and photos as you’d like to reassure you that your pets are in great hands.
“Rachel communicated perfectly regarding the booked walk, she let me know how Maggie was and sent me a couple of pictures during. Maggie was happy to see Rachel and Lister as always and she was very well looked after.”

About: I have owned small and large dogs my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old husky x chow chow. I work from home so I am always able to give attention to your dogs! I work from home, and will be able to give your pets all the attention they could ever want! My home overlooks a great reservoir for walks and leads to Healy dell. I have a secure garden and a friendly husky mix who loves other dogs. If your dog is not happy we are able to separate them, however it is preferable that your dog is friendly. I am happy to do meet and greets so our dogs can meet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have long relied on me to check in, feed, and play with their pets. I truly love animals and prioritize giving them the same care and attention I would give my own. I am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility and dedicated time to play with, exercise, and closely supervise your dogs! I am fully available for overnight boarding on weekends. On weekdays, my schedule opens up completely after 2:00 PM, making me perfect for afternoon walks, playdates, and evening care. I can easily adapt to your pet's regular feeding and potty routines. I love making pets feel right at home, whether they are staying with me or in their own familiar space! I stick closely to their favorite routines, feeding times, and potty schedules so they feel safe and comfortable. You can expect lots of belly rubs, fun playtime, and plenty of cute photo updates while you are away!
“I left Fudge with Jade and her lovely family for 5 nights. Had a meet and greet beforehand and Fudge and family were very happy with each other. I received messages and photos from Jade everyday and fudge looked very settled and happy. Fudge is a rescue dog so I was apprehensive about leaving him to go on holiday but I needn’t have been because I could see they he was having a ball with them. Picked him up yesterday and he was happy to see us and I could see that he was very settled in. Would have no hesitation in leaving Fudge with Jade and family and will definitely be booking him in for any other trips/holidays. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him and I will let you know when I need you again ☺️☺️☺️”

About: Hello! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, from tiny pups to big gentle giants. As an equestrian, I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and dogs have been a central part of that. I’ve competed in dog agility with my collies in the past, so I know the joy of training and teamwork. I’ve looked after family and friends’ dogs many times, and I’ve also had the responsibility of paid dog-sitting. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles on the couch or making sure their tails are wagging while you’re away, I’ll treat your pup like part of my own family! At the moment, I’m between roles, which means I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule. I can easily fit in walks or care whenever your dog needs it. If my availability changes in the future, I’ll always be upfront and ensure we plan accordingly. Your dog will be in a comfortable and safe environment with me. We have a medium-sized fenced garden and we’re just a short walk away from a large park perfect for regular walks.
“Christine & Ray are a lovely couple and Tyson felt relaxed almost immediately at our meet & greet. He was well looked after, including cuddles during his stay and it was evident in photos and videos that he was very happy. Highly recommended.”
