I’ve been around dogs my whole life, growing up with them—especially the highly energetic kind—so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. My husband, Ross and I have also had two dogs of our own, including a rescued greyhound, which gave us a real appreciation for gentle care, patience, and helping dogs feel safe and settled. We’re both big dog lovers who genuinely enjoy long walks, and our home is perfectly located for beautiful field walks right on our doorstep—ideal for dogs who love to explore and stretch their legs. As we both work from home, your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will always have company, attention, and care throughout the day. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a calmer pace, we’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home with us. I work from home and start later in the morning, which makes me perfect for dogs who love a good morning walk to kick off their day! I also have short breaks throughout the day, plus an hour-long lunch break—ideal for another walk, playtime, or some extra attention. In the evenings, my husband and I usually head out for a walk anyway, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to get outside, stretch their legs, and enjoy a consistent routine. At home, we’ve created a relaxed, dog-friendly environment with lots of toys for playtime and a comfy sofa (yes, dogs are absolutely allowed on it!). Your dog will have a mix of exercise, stimulation, and cosy downtime—whatever suits their personality best. Our home is quietly situated on a small, private road, safely away from any main roads—creating a calm and secure environment for your dog. We also have a fully fenced, private garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, playtime, and a safe space to relax outdoors.

About: We’ve always had small animals in our family,from dogs , cats, rabbits and fish.I am a responsible dog walker.There are lots of lovely walks where I live , including Bowlee country park, the local park and Heaton park is only 10 minutes away. Over the years I have gained much dog health knowledge, having looked after dogs with pancreatitis ,diabetes and cataracts .I am DBS checked , friendly , reliable and trustworthy person to leave your dog with.Your pet will receive lots of love and play during its stay. Your dog will rarely be left alone as there is always someone at home. We have a lovely fenced in garden and yard which is totally safe for your dog to play and potter around in as well as regular walks .Our house is smoke free . We have just one pet , our dog Elvis . We would require your dog to be washed before it’s stay as we have some allergies . I usually go for two walks a day but this can be adjusted depending on your dogs needs .I care for your dog as if it were my own. We will only be boarding two dogs at a time , along with our own dog who has been neutered and is a very happy chappy. Your pet will receive lots of love and play during its stay, as my family all either work from home or work part time, so there is always someone at home

“Meg was very well looked after and was very keen to get in, when I was dropping her off. She is diabetic, so not the easiest to look after as on a strict diet. You have to have eyes in the back of your head, where food is concerned. I had no worries about her having access to things she shouldn’t, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you.”

About: Massive dog lover, have had them all my life and would like to spend time with your dog too 🐾 I’ve been looking after friends and family’s dogs and caged animals since I was a child Currently working my full time job from home with my 5 month old working cocker Wilf for company! Wilf is an energetic playful pup, we go for a walk in the morning and mid afternoon with plenty of playtime through the day! I have a large fenced garden that Wolf loves to play in! There’s also horses at the bottom of the garden, although there is no direct contact your dog will be able to see the horses

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs in my family who have always been treated like a part of the family, absolutely adore dogs and treat them like babies as they are so precious ❤️ I’m at home all day everyday so I’ll be here to keep them company and give lots of cuddles. I live in a house with a big garden and I’ve got a lovely closed off walk way near me that I can bring them on walks if wanted. I’m a huge dog person so they’ll be getting plenty of attention and love from me. I’ll take them out for walks and play with them

“Tank spent his first two days of hopefully many more with Alison and her family last week. Safe to say he’s been treated like a king. Alison is extremely easy to communicate with, sends lots of lovely pictures and updates via the Rover app and has been flexible with us around timings we drop him off and pick him up. Tank was super excited to go back to Alison’s on the second day which made me and my partner feel really happy about him being there. About: I have owned pets all my life, and take great pleasure in making sure all animals are happy, safe and cared for. I have cared for family and friends dogs for many years and am a trusted and honest carer who will offer the best loving home. I live in a bungalow with a large fenced garden with lots of space to run and my beagle Bruno will welcome all dogs big or small. I am experienced in caring for puppies and senior dogs so no dog is too old or young. Clean driving license for 12 years so am able to care for your dog if they need to travel. I work from home so will have lots of time to play with your pup and take them for regular walks and toilet breaks every 1-2 hours. I can board dogs throughout the week and weekends, and am available for house visits and doggy day care. In my home I have a fenced garden and a beagle named Bruno who will be amazing as keeping your pup company. I am happy to have dogs who are crate trained or not. I’m also a trusting person who will be respectful of your home if I am to house sit and am very experienced in understanding canine behaviour

About: I love animals more than anything. Your pets will get extra training, loads of playtime, cuddles and they'll come back more relaxed and happier than ever before. My biggest commitment is to the animals in my care. Giving them my full attention, making sure they're happy. My week is mostly free, so let me know what you need and I'll do my best to accommodate. The way I see it, I'm entering their safe space, it's not mine! Staying calm and gentle, but also establishing those important boundaries so they feel safe too is the first thing. My focus is entirely on them, paying close attention to what they might need, whether its stimulation or a calmer environment, making those adjustments. Being ready to adapt constantly.
