They are a lovely, kind, conscientious couple who took excellent care of Oscar and Tiger. From the very first Zoom call, I knew they were the right sitters for the job and I was right; they asked many thoughtful questions at the outset, displayed very good judgment with the dogs and great care of my home. One of my dogs is a pretty fearful rescue and they took his skittishness in stride, never giving up on their attempts to win him over (and they did). They did a great job of keeping me updated and left my place even cleaner than it was when they arrived. “Michael is an animal lover. He has taken care of animals as small as hamsters to dogs as large as greyhounds. Michael is a conscientious, caring and reliable person. He has taken care of his own pets and helped take care of family pets when family members have been on holiday. Living on a farm Michael has grown up with house pets and farm animals. He particularly enjoyed helping the farmer shear the sheep when he was younger. Michael has lots of energy and enjoys being outdoors and would be committed to giving any pet lots of care and attention.”

About: I have grown up with all kinds of pets in my family and have so much experience around many breeds of dog and cat in particular but also various reptiles. I’m also experienced in administering pet medication in cats and dogs, cleaning and sanitising litter trays, feeding, entertaining and keeping pets happy whilst making them feel safe and comfortable ! I currently work full time remotely so have plenty of time and flexibility to take care and keep company to your pets whilst and around my other job! Although I’ve never been officially employed as a pet sitter I have lots of experience in pet sitting both living in for short periods and going in everyday to maintain their care and keep them entertained for a few hours a day.

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have looked after my Grandparents dog (pictured) for the last 16 years - I like to consider her my own! I’ve also recently been looking after a couple of pups over on borrow my doggy. Having moved away from home in the last year away from any animal companions, I really appreciate and value the company of a pet and know how much they mean to you as an owner, hence why I ensure they feel as comfortable as possible within a new setting. I’m a Self Employed Pet Portrait Artist and work from home, so have a lot of flexibility to look after a dog whilst I’m in my flat most of the day! (Conveniently whilst drawing many dogs🤣) My flat is secured and also has a communal outdoor area with close by green spaces. There are no other animals in my flat, just me and my partner who have both grown up around dogs.
